Hamilton Beach 2 Slice Toaster - Black
With the Hamilton Beach Extra-Wide Slot Toaster, toasting bread is just the beginning. Extra-wide slots make it ideal for bagels, English muffins or slices of artisan bread. A special bagel setting lets you toast the cut side, while warming the outside. Bring frozen waffles or pancakes to a warm, golden finish with the defrost button, which thaws then toasts the food. The 2-slice toaster is simple to use with a toast boost feature that gives breads a high lift for removal. And the automatic shutoff will turn the toaster off at the end of its cycle, even if food gets jammed. With brushed stainless steel accents and illuminated buttons, this toaster will look great on your countertop.

Get toast the way you want it!

The extra wide slots allow for a bigger pieces of bread to be toasted, such as bagels, which is a great convenience. I like that the toaster itself is light weight, so it’s easy to move around, and it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. Great toaster!

Basic but mighty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not think I was going to have much to say about a toaster, but I love this thing! Slots are wide for the end slices and do not get stuck and burn. The dial is easy to figure out desired toasty-level. We also taught our daughter how to (safely) use this, so now we can sleep 10 extra minutes on weekends while she gets breakfast ready. I do wish it had a better way to store or wrap the cord- but not a deal breaker. Stores easily when not in use. I forgot the simple pleasure of a regular toaster after using a toaster oven for so many years.

A good looking toaster.

It also works well toasting bagels and hamburger buns. It looks good on the counter with it's shiney chrome and the selector buttons light up blue when pressed. It also cleans up easy with the hatch underneath.

Very nice toaster!

I love bagels for breakfast and I love that I can put thicker bagels in it. Being able to put frozen bread/bagels in it is a plus also. It goes great with my kitchen appliances and it doesn’t take up much space at all!

Simple and easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a nice looking toaster. I don't have any extra counter space for appliances I don't us but a toaster is the one small appliance I use almost every day. This toaster looks nice with it wide slots and clean, space saving design. It's easy to wipe off when needed and my favorite part is how much better the clean out for crumbs is designed. Instead of being a messy little drawer that is hard to get at, there is an easy to open door on the bottom that actually allows any small or bigger bread pieces to be completely removed easily. This is a better solution than I have ever had before.
When I want to use an appliance I don't want more options than I need and this is perfect with a regular setting, a setting for bagels and one for frozen items.
All of the settings work well and the coils evenly distribute the heat for every setting and amount of toasting I have used.

A Toast!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had multiple toasters in my time, but this is the one I’ve been searching for because of the wider slots for the thicker breads I enjoy. I really enjoy a warm bagel in the morning, but my previous toasters always seemed to tear and squeeze the bagel or piece of Texas Toast into something almost unrecognizable.
Thank you, thank you to Hamilton Beach for this small appliance. Someone did their homework before designing this product. I will recommend this product to anyone!

Great Toaster!

The defrost button worked great for frozen waffles. You can push the cancel button anytime to stop the setting you're in and it will pop right up. It toasted everything evenly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Extra-Wide Slot 2-Slice Toaster is a high quality product! There is a control for the color (light to dark shades) 1-7. Shorter breads can easily be removed with the control lever. Frozen products can also be defrosted with one of the three buttons. This toaster was ideal for bagels since it has wide slots. A drop-down tray beneath the toaster made for easy cleaning. The only negative to me was what I thought was a rather short plug-in electrical cord.

Bagel Toaster

It does toast great easy to use and understand. So far its great. All i have to get used to is where the timer needs to be for my perfect toast. Easy to read buttons and timer. Yes i would recommend.

Toast a bagel in one cycle

Perfect Toaster for me

Perfect slot toaster

This extra wide slot toaster is great for thick items like bagel halves and sliced bread. It has a Cancel button so you can quickly pop the toast out if it's getting too done. It's easy to choose a range of toast darknesses.

Makes very good toast!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster is very easy to use. The dial to pick the darkness of toast is easy to move and obvious to see what number it is on, so it is easy to perfect how crispy the toast is. The bagel setting also seems to work nicely. My only complaint is that the cover to collect the crumbs seems to come off easily. I have to be careful when I pick the toaster up so that the cover stays closed until I am over the garbage, otherwise it just opens and crumbs get on the counter and the floor. The slots do not seem Extra-Wide to me. I put in a bagel that was not sliced directly through the middle and it was a tight fit, but ultimately everything I put in did fit. Overall, the toaster seems to toast well

Very Nice Toaster

One thing I like about it is the extra wide slots are actually big enough for a bagel. Many toasters advertise this and still aren’t wide enough. But this one is. Also this toaster actually toasts the bread evenly.

But the toaster, we all know you need one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster is amazing. First, unlike other toasters, it didn’t smell like burnt plastic when I used it for the first few times. The toast/bagel/English muffins not only fit flawlessly, they cook even every time. I never worry about over cooking anything. We all don’t want to buy a new toaster because they are usually not aesthetically pleasing to leave on your countertop, but this is the exception to the rule. Buy the toaster.

Amazing extra wild toaster

Is this made in the usa or China? I just got burnt with 2 sunbeam toasters from china
All Hamilton Beach toasters are made in China. "It's a USA product" is not the same as Made in USA. I checked on line and Hamilton Beach is made in China, it is not included in the list of toasters made in USA.
