Setup & 1st cup of coffee
I received my new coffee maker and unboxed it. Impressed with packaging as it was secured and undamaged.
After reading the enclosed documents, I ran clear water through both the carafe and the single serve systems.
The I made my 1st cup using the Single-Serve ground coffee option which allows me to select the brand of coffee and to add a dash of salt with a dash of nutmeg. It made a great cup of coffee!
The clock time setup was straight forward and easily done.
I'm looking forward to using the "Delay Brew" feature so I can wake up to a freshly brewed coffee.
Overall, this "FlexBrew TRIO Coffee Maker" worked as described.

I like the versatility in the Hamilton Beach Flex Brew. Always makes a great cup of coffee. This is a replacement from my other flex brew coffee maker. I like having the reservoir in the single cup mode. I also like how you can do a single cup with pods or ground coffee.

Very surprised!
I didn’t think I would love it but wow it is great. Especially the basket for single serve. No more fiddling with kcup for loose coffee. Just scoop it in the mesh basket and brew!

My coffee pot bit the dust on Christmas Day. I was extremely satisfied with my last one, which was a Hamilton Beach carafe with a single cup on the side. (Bought it in 2013 and it died Christmas Day 2025). I found the Trio coffee maker and I love it. The only thing that I could suggest to improve it would to be that you have the amount of water indicator on the side like my last one. I used my new one for the first time today and had to look with a flashlight inside the coffee maker to see how many cups of water I had put in. I will do some measuring and will be able to pour the exact amount next time, but I really miss the outside water level indicator.
