Saw many reviews that mention tarnishing, Henckels care says you can wash them in a dishwasher but don't recommend it, there were reviews about rusting to. I feel those people didn't dry them off right away as the care instructions state. I am very pleased with the knives and put to shame all our other knives we've used that many people thought were the best kitchen knives.
