There are many on the market but I wasn’t drawn to any of them until I saw this set with a self sharpening block. The knives are easy to handle and very sharp and the style is modern . I only have two criticisms - the block is an awkward shape for my worktop and doesn’t sit neatly anywhere - I would have preferred a bread knife to a pair of scissors. Shame there wasn’t this option.
