Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible. Review: The "Jumbotron" of Regret (85"+ Budget Mega-TV) Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) If you’ve ever wanted to turn your living room into a high-definition museum of digital artifacts and smearing, then this is the TV for you. I bought this 85-inch beast thinking I was getting a "cinema experience" on a budget. Instead, I got a front-row seat to every technical compromise known to man. The "Picture Quality" (Or Lack Thereof) Pixel Density Nightmare: At this size, 4K starts to look like 1080p’s blurry cousin. Because the screen is so massive, the pixels are stretched to their breaking point. Unless you're sitting in your neighbor's house across the street, you can see the "screen door effect" on every face. It’s like watching a movie through a very expensive screen door. The "Gray" Abyss: Forget "Deep Blacks." On a screen this big with cheap backlighting, every dark scene looks like a muddy, glowing navy blue. The backlight bleed is so aggressive that the corners of the screen look like they’re being haunted by four tiny, glowing ghosts. Motion Blur Central: Watching sports is a hallucinogenic experience. A football doesn't travel across the screen; it leaves a "vapor trail" like a jet engine. The processor is clearly struggling to keep up with the sheer acreage of glass it has to refresh, resulting in a stuttering mess that will give you a headache before the first quarter is over. Upscaling Disaster: If you try to watch anything that isn't native 4K—like a standard HD cable broadcast—the TV gives up entirely. It turns the image into a watercolor painting. Skin tones look like orange plastic, and fine details (like hair or grass) become a jagged, shimmering mess of "digital noise." The Final Verdict This TV is proof that size isn't everything. It’s a massive, glowing monument to "you get what you pay for." It’s great for making your living room look impressive when the power is off, but the moment you hit that "On" button, the illusion shatters into a million poorly-lit, blurry pixels. Save your money. Buy a high-quality 65-inch or 75-inch TV instead. Your eyes (and your sanity) will thank you.
