They work!
These really work for dust, pollen, and cat hair/dander (I have three cats). Homedics is the only site I was able to see which replacement filter I needed. It is great tobe able to subscribe for future replacements.

Replacement filter & air purifier
I love using my air purifier from Homedics, and I can tell that these filters really work. When I change mine you can see everything it has sucked up. It is satisfying, because it shows that it is really cleansing the air. I also can tell a difference in how well I breathe while sleeping!

Perfect for college dorms
Purchased this air filter for air purifiers placed in my son and daughter’s college dorm rooms. These were old, not air-conditioned dorms with mold and dust. While others complained of their students being constantly sick, my students remained fairly healthy and I attribute that to them running these air purifiers in their dorm rooms 24/7.

Air purifier
This unit part works well and eliminates particulates from my bedroom. It is easy to clean. I replace it every year.
The device is another issue.
One of its function lights doesn't work so I don't know if that is operating.
I can't find a repair for this.
Because of this I would probably purchase an air filtration product from another company.

Homedics Hepa filter
The unit and original filter is still good, I ordered this one as I will be replacing it after the year mark. I really love the unit and the filter is taking out all the impurities in the air in the room I have it in.
