absolutely a must have!!!!

The vacuum is very well built and designed. It’s a great time saver. overall it does a great job. It’s easy to use and configure. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with pets and kids.

Aesthetically pleasing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the IRobot Combo J5+ Vacuum and Mop for free from influenster, in exchange for my honest review. Wow! Talk about an upgrade! This vacuum mapped out my house perfectly, and saves me so much time in cleaning it. I’d first like to speak on how aesthetically pleasing this machine is, and how it almost looks decorative sitting on the charger. The mopping feature is a huge plus, and seems to get my laminate wood floors clean, without having to add extra steps. It does a great job in cleaning the entire house on one charge, and it isn’t obnoxiously loud. I love it! I’ve already recommended to a few friends. We decided to name it “ Optimus Grime “ Thank you influenster!

Best robot vacuum I’ve ever used! State of the art game changer!

This vacuum cleaned every inch of my home thoroughly and did not get stuck one time! The cameras can see anything in its way and it avoids the obstacles with precision! The app is super cool and user friendly so you can control it from your phone! It also has a mopping feature that is awesome! It will actually mop specified zones for you with precision and gets them super clean! Did I mention it empties itself when finished? This robot vacuum does it all for complete floor care! It is truly life changing! I would give it more stars if I could!! Highly recommend!

An all in one service
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this awesome product in exchange for an honest review from influenster. It works great and the noise level is almost none. It does require you to download an app for it called iRobot, then you set it up yourself according to instruction booklet that comes with the robot vaccum. You control the robot with your phone. Very easy to use and is easily charged. It does require you to allow ot to map your house first then you can name each room of your house and save it on your phone. No matter where you are just instruct the robot to go and clean the whole house or just a specific room/area, you actually see the robot working in the room/ area and once done you can dock it back to its place. Once back in place it empties itself automatically to its attached bin. I haven't tried the mop option yet but will try soon. I love it and I am very excited about it. By the way I named mine as Raju. Lol.

Easy set up ready to clean and go!

Cool little guy

My favorite feature is being able to set up a routine so it turns on whenever the time comes. The noise level is not too loud but you know when it goes around you. It maps the area around my place to avoid objects whenever possible which is super cool.

Excellent Roomba!

The noise level is very quiet except when it empties the trash. Once you first get it you’re able to map out your house for easy navigation for the Roomba. My only complaint is getting it to connect to WiFi, it’s not the easiest thing to do. Overall I love this piece of equipment, I would highly recommend getting one if you’re in the market for a Roomba!

Best vacuum robot ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Me and my husband have heard so much about the Roomba and how it cleans so well.
The robot + the base don't take up much space in your room, however I'd recommend stationing it with a lot of space around it as per instruction for best results. The mapping can be done multiple times and each time it gets smarter and faster since it gets more used to the room layout. It doesn't really avoid cables as advertised (and this is a small con for this J5+ combo) and instead it will hit the cables and eventually might get stuck if the cables are thick and long. My recommendation is to fix up your floor before using it. Collect all big cables and hide them neatly as best as you can, remove obstacles to make the vacuum job easier, re-organize your furniture a bit so it can actually clean the corners/ under the furniture more thoroughly.
Run the vacuum job at least a few times so it can get used to the layout plus you will get live reports about the obstacle ares for the roomba and work on them better.
While vacuuming it doesn't make that much noise unless your floor is super filthy. Just a heads up, the loudest noise it will ever make is when it emptys the bag. Also, if you have long hair like me and you haven't cleaned under the furniture in a while, the Roomba might mick up A LOT of hair and dust so always clean the wheels/ the bottom area so it doesn't get stuck and can work better next time.
While the vacuuming was amazing, I will test out the mopping function in the near future when we purchase the right cleaning solution.
Overall, best product ever. It will change your life no kidding!

When map is accurate, it works!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great vacuum if you know how to use it. I know that phrase sounds a bit odd since this a robot vacuum. The automatic cleaning function works. However, you need to make sure that it properly mapped out your area. To have it mapped out for you often leads to wonky floor diagrams. I really wish the app would allow the user to correct the room lines rather than rely on the robot vacuum’s own mapping feature. The mapping feature is imperfect as if there are items and or furniture with legs, it maps them out a bit wonky. Also, if it has trouble turning, it will display the room as slanted. So there is a bit of work that iRobot needs to do in order improve the mapping function. Now if you have a good map, it works. It presets its parameters and does it job.

Great for daily use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first experience with a robot vacuum, so I didn't know what to expect. It was easy to download the app, but mapping our rooms and understanding how long that took for the roomba to do wasn't clearly explained. After the learning curve though, the roomba does great at getting the everyday crumbs and dirt off the floor. It did get stuck on one of my rugs. Sometimes the roomba takes excessively long to clean and weirdly goes over the same spot unnecessarily. It also doesn't explain how to switch to mopping. Definitely enjoy having it, but I would not have paid $700 for it.

This thing puts in work!

I had a different brand of a vacuum robot and it really doesn’t compare to this one. It does a great job and picking up debris in my dog’s room (ceramic tile) and the self emptying feature is awesome! I’m not super impressed with the mop feature. My floor seems streaky and I can still see dirt. If there are any tips I should be following that would improve the mop, I’d be glad to give this 5 start review.

Impressive Little Vaccuum

This little guy is still learning our space, but I love that I can just send him on his way while I can focus on other tasks. He occasionally needs help (getting back to the base when he’s upstairs) and misses some spots here and there, but I’m generally very impressed with the technology.

Vacuums ok but the mop is useless
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vacuum function works ok, not as good as a regular vacuum. For my husband and I who have no pets or children it only has to pick up dust and a few stray crumbs, I think much more than that and it wouldn't do as well. It takes much longer than vacuuming yourself but is nice to do while out of the house or while doing other chores, as it is one less thing you have to do. It took a few times to learn the layout of my home, but got it mostly down pretty quickly. It still continues to get stumped by table legs etc.
It is moderately loud while cleaning and has a short but very loud (like a rocket) sound when it returns to its home base and empties itself.
The mop is useless, it just drips water from its basin onto a cloth that it drags under it. If you put a wet rag on the ground and moved it with your food it would do a better job than the mop feature on the Roomba.
If you only have moderate vacuuming needs then I would recommend getting one but save the money and mop yourself.

Very tricky to work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the combo J5 with the emptying vacuum and mop combo. I was so excited as I've always wanted one. It's very confusing as you set up. The good thing is the instructions are decent enough to figure out. The bad it is still not enough to figure it out. You will have to figure how to get it to start. It took me some time then when it did it randomly talks which freaked me out. Loved the idea. Not as i expected.
