Self cleaning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vacuums like a dream! Just download the App from the App Store and the Robot is off running doing its thing. Cleaning is not so much of o big chore anymore since I bought the new IRobot Roomba j9+. This little robot takes is very simple to setup, first download the IRobot home App follow the simple setup instructions connecting it to your home net work. Then set up a mapping of the entire house ( will take 90 minutes or so) then set up a schedule within the App. Once all that is done it’s off working for you. The home docking station is where it will charge and empty its container of dirt from vacuuming the floor. The Robot is pretty quiet while it is running its coarse, but while it is docked and cleaning out the dirt it has collected into the filter inside the docking station it gets pretty loud. The bottom has two rubber wheels that grip really well on carpet or tile and has sensor and cameras that detect objects. Overall it’s a really great vacuum and cuts my cleaning time in half.

It's not a luxury price tag it is just actually THAT MUCH BETTER in tech
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The roomba J9+ is an incredible vacuum. This vacuum is a high performing computer compared to a calculator. It feels light years ahead compared to a normal roomba. I've been a long time roomba customer as I have a golden retriever who sheds like crazy and my house has NEVER been this consistently clean. The vacuum is also extremely quiet. At one point I forgot that I had set it's schedule for 9am on a weekend and I didn't even know it was running until I got up to make coffee and it was doing is thing.
The maps are very accurate and easy to work with. I spilled some dirt in my laundry room after tipping over one of my plants. I just sent my roomba over directly to the laundry and BAM spotless!! No need to take out my big vacuum. This product in comparison is light years in technology away from any other vacuum. The self emptying feature is also amazing. We have a pretty big house. It's first cleaning/mapping run took 8 hrs but boy the house was clean after that.
The making features are A-MA-ZING too. After the robot's done cleaning your house it will let you know of any obstructions it identified and ask if they are permanent so they can avoid it in the future. In one room I have a large decorative mirror that rests on the floor. I used to always have my husband move the mirror so it wasn't hit by our old roomba. Now I can mark where I don't want the roomba to go. It's incredible it takes a wide path around any objects you mark as do not clean around. If your somebody who has vases or plants set for level this vacuum is a game changer.
Honestly I know the price seems high but if you have dogs or cats who routinely shed, a large house, fragile items on the floor, or all of the above like me it is WORTH the price to get routinely clean floors and peace of mind that you're not going to come home to broken or damaged item All the while of having perfectly clean floors.
This product is so distinctly different in Performance that i'm kicking myself for not getting it earlier. It's a game changer and worth the investment. It's truly not a mark up because it's pretty or fancier looking. No it is just THAT MUCH BETTER.

The robot is a peace of art, so beautiful and modern design and what I like the most in it was that it makes almost no noise. That makes my heart very happy!😃
Cleans all rooms very well and the fact that you don’t need to clean it all the time that you use is amazing!

Worth the price tag!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grew up using a broom, a mop, and a traditional vacuum cleaner. Fast forward several decades and we now have products like Roomba. I plugged in the charging dock, set up the Bluetooth app and within minutes I was able to use it.
Roomba will take a long time when you first “map” your house. Our downstairs took about 45 minutes. However, the next time it ran was about 30 minutes.
It is strong enough to move something in the way (such as a pair of shoes), smart enough to go over lips and edges of a raised surface, but will maneuver around other objects. Be mindful that if there is a wall or table of some sort, Roomba will bump into it, adjust its angle, then repeat the process until it moves around it. Keep this in mind if you have a vase on a console table or something like that.
The self emptying thing is cool, but you still have to empty the bag in the trash. I had to grab clumps of hair by hand while the smaller debris could be dumped out.
Overall, I love it. However, I will still keep my broom and vacuum for quick cleanup. I see the Roomba being a good scheduled cleaner throughout the week (can be programmed). Also, it is pretty loud so keep that in mind.

Nice power and suction

The robot is set to high suction and 2 passes each cleaning lasting about 2 1/2 hours. I have tons of dog hair through out the day and mine runs every night.

Needs more space than you think.

Looking over the setup instructions, it seems simple, yet complicated, as it needs multiple feet of space around the charging base for it to navigate in and out. I have to rearrange my spare bedroom to provide enough space for an adequate setup.

This is a great vacuum, and pretty quiet too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am just loving how well this Roomba Vacuum works, it vacuums the floors well and I really like that when the vacuum is full it will go back and empty it self and then continue vacuuming my floors.
This vacuum is also pretty quiet picks up everything in its path and I also like that it sweeps the edges of the rooms.
It is also easy to empty out the canister once it’s filled up.

J9+ Self - Emptying Robot Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this little thing! I figured it would be super noisy but it’s very quiet, I love the mapping of the house it does before you start it for the very first clean. It works amazing on hardwood floors, carpets and rugs small throw rugs you have to pull up or the rumba will get stuck on them but that’s fine you have to do that anyways with a regular vacuum. It’s very effective and efficient cleans my whole living room in under 10 mins. You can adjust the suction as well as the noise levels. The battery life on it is amazing as well, the battery last long if you set it on a small suction level vs a high suction level. Just depends on how dirty the area is that you’re trying to clean. The rumba came with an extra filter as well as the little wheel brush for vacuuming and an extra trash bag which is pretty big and I feel like will last a long time. Once the cleaning is completed the robot will automatically go back home and self empty everything you picked up during your cleaning schedule. I love mine and even though I received mine free for my honest opinion/review I would have definitely purchased it myself. It’s very convenient and works amazing even better than my push vacuum. Worth every penny!

It navigates my house so much better and never gets stuck. The way it cleans every square inch of every room is amazing. We also have three dogs and multiple people living in our house and it can pretty much get whole house done before it need to empty itself out. This is truly an amazing product!
