BEST VACUUM EVER! ITS A MUST HAVE

The cleaning performance is just great,it picks up all my dog hair, and crumbs, and so much more, and i even love more that it has auto wash as well . Love slef cleaning. The battery life is great!! I love all the extras and more. I Highly recommend this .

Works very well and improved from previous models
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initial Impressions: The 505 demonstrated impressive room mapping capabilities, efficiently and accurately mapping my house (4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) in approximately 28 minutes. Cleaning Performance: The device has performed satisfactorily in cleaning tasks, particularly in mopping and corner navigation. Overall, I am impressed with its performance and will conduct further testing throughout the week. Notable Feature: The device's exceptionally quiet operation is a significant advantage, as it does not disrupt my pets.

It's like it's part of the family!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a game changer! living in the desert with two dogs really means I'm constantly cleaning everything. This vaccum takes the floor cleaning out my routines ! I love that I can set it to run at night or when everyone's at work! We names ours moppy mcmopface.
I've had other robot vaccums but having to clean themafter every use take the set it and forget it aspect out of having one. With the Roomba 505, it both pad washed and empties its own dust bin.
Definitely recommend this to everyone I see

Hands down the best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an absolute life saver. If you have a child, dog or messy partner you need this in your life. It can map your hole house and avoid obstacles. The Roomba plus 505 also recognizes objects in its way and easily avoids them. Everything can be coordinated from the app: which room you want cleaned, if you want it mopped and vacuumed, deep cleaning, how many passes, how strong you want the suction to be and if you have a sticky mess you can turn on smart scrub and it will be gone in a heartbeat. Roomba plus empties out the dustbin automatically after every cleaning as well as cleans and dries the mop pads. There is literally nothing you need to do other than filling up the clean water tank and emptying the dirty water. It doesn’t get any easier and cleaner than this. Get it now and you will thank yourself later

My little robot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this little robot!! You can tell how much work went into having this little robot created. Roomba did a great job mapping out the house. It went under the bed and that’s when I found out it has a LIGHT! This is a quality product! The dock is neat too, it even has a storage space for extra bags and mops! It does a great job! Would I have purchased this without trying it? No. It’s a pricey machine. BUT it’s totally worth it.

I'm in Love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The way that I love the Roomba Plus 505 is absurd. This is the greatest vacuum I've ever owned.
Our house is predominantly vinyl planking and tile with area rugs. The fact that this thing differentiates the rugs and flooring, especially with the mopping feature, is amazing.
We have a corgi, so tumbleweeds have been a part of life. I would have to vacuum every other day just to keep it clean. Now, I don't have to take that time, and it mops!
I really love the app. I can create a schedule, by room, by cleaning option, with date and time, and it'll keep me updated. So my house gets clean while I'm at work. It did run into an encounter with a dog toy, but I was alerted, and it didn't affect the function of the cleaner.
The only rugs that have been an issue are very high pile fluffy rugs, but those have to be machine washed anyway.
I wish I had this 10 years ago.

Life changing product for cleaning!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Roomba is absolutely amazing. I have never had a cleaning product that I was left in awe about but this did it for me. It literally sweeps mops vacuums and then cleans itself. The only work I have to put in is making sure the water is filled for the clean and empty for the dirty and it’s not even that much.

MUST HAVE FOR LARGE HOME!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Roomba is well worth the money. We have used a Roomba off and on for over ten years. Before the vacuum and mop series I can admit I pretty much liked it for the novelty of the product more than the functionality of it. When I was a bachelor in a small apartment, its haphazard bouncing around was more than adequate. When we had a bigger condo and toddlers running around the older roomba's were ineffective. Now that we have two kids almost pre-teen and two huskies - we needed some more help. In comes the i7.
We recently put in dark wood floors and while we love the look - everything shows. A crumb can be viewed from across the house and our huskies are white and black so any dropped hair is easily visible. We do sweep and mop regularly to collect the bulk of the stuff in the usual places (such as crumbs in the kitchen or dining room) but there is nothing quite like waking up to a clean floor. We got the this because of the mapping features, but it is so much more.
Pros:
- Mapping - We will start with why we bought this. The i7 Roomba does not simply bounce around like those before it. This roomba has a sensor that will detect if its about to collide with an object and then slows down to slightly bump the object and begins to map where the object is in a room. After two runs (for us) the Roomba had fully mapped the first floor (about 2000sq ft). Once mapped we can place room dividers, name the rooms, and even mark out "no go" zones to keep it away from either the dog's water bowl or some cables we don't want it to go near. This feature works exceptionally well.
- The sensor - as mentioned above we have kids and dogs. This means that no matter how much we pick up the floor, one of the creatures in this house is going to come behind us and put any number of things out in the middle of the floor where it doesn't belong. The i7 Roomba can identify when it is approaching an object and will slow down to give it a gentle nudge. More often than not in our house its a sleeping husky. One of them politely moves for the Roomba to do its job. The other one simply lays there stubbornly and we end up with a husky sized outline of clean/not clean. It is actually as humorous as it sounds.
- The cleaning "bristles" - I was pretty sure that having wood floors would mean we could never have a Roomba again. We actually waited more than a year before we even tried looking. The newer generation has a rubber roller it uses to move dirt to the middle of its path and then collect as it goes over. This system is great and ensures the floor doesn't get damaged.

My floors are spotless
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This robot has exceeded my expectations. It is so smart and intuitive in terms of the way it navigates around my home & maintains itself. The app is user friendly and provides simple steps for mapping and operating the device. I am so satisfied with the ease of use and the cleanliness of my floors. I found the battery life to be surprisingly short, but considering its running several different vacuum brushes and mop heads simultaneously - it makes sense that it loses charge relatively quickly. That being said, it also recharges relatively quickly as well. It is louder than other robot vacuums I have owned, however in my opinion the noise = stronger/better suction - which is a very fair trade off. I have two small children who are able to nap no problem while the robot runs, it is still quieter than a traditional handheld vacuum. I absolutely recommend this product for anyone (like myself) who hates mopping floors.

This Roomba Rocks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Roomba rocks! We had a more basic Shark vacuum before but never had one with a mop before. Setup was easy although there were not many instructions inside - the app helped. Once it was set it was easy to map the room and set up a schedule. So far we’re just using water in the mop but we ordered cleaning solution for when we need a deeper clean. Love it so far!

Very well made!

We have tiles and carpets and I like how I can program how to clean. It cleans well and mops good enough. We have 3 bed rooms and it runs through. I don’t have to dump dust every time unlike the old one I had so it’s easier maintenance.

Necessity for Moms
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iRobot Roomba Plus 505 is truly one of a kind. I have young kids and so our floors are continually getting dirty with crumbs, liquids, and dirt dragged in from outside. It’s so hard to keep up with the mess. Now I have help. The combo feature of a vacuum and mop is simply wonderful for this busy mother. I love how the robot has a small brush that extends from the side to sweep up any small crumbs that are lying along the baseboards. As it sweeps, it vacuums them up and follows along with the two scrubbing cylindrical mop heads attached underneath. The robot and its base are super easy to assemble. It does take a bit of time to manually set up though. once the app is downloaded, the robot will do an initial mapping of your house to get an idea of what areas need cleaning. Then from the app, I can choose if I want it to do a certain space, or the whole house. The noise the vacuum makes while it is running is a moderate humming sound, which isn’t disturbing. The only thing that is quite loud is when it is emptying the dust bin. It does need maintenance and cleaning every couple weeks depending on its usage. The only negative thing I have to say is that it’s not good at mopping up tough, stuck on messes. These have to be gone over with a better scrubber. Otherwise, it’s a great addition to our home!

Leaves streaks on my tiles

I’m taking off a star, because it does leave steaks on my tiles when it mops. The app sometimes is a little slow but overall it’s easy to schedule. The noise level bothers my family but it doesn’t bother me.

Maybe I received a dud...?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to receive this Roomba in a promotion to test and review.
We had just recently installed hardwood flooring in our home and I was thinking of getting one so it was perfect timing.
Or so I thought...
Let me start by saying I believe I have received a defective product.
I followed all of the instructions, (which were not many) set up the app on my phone and proceeded to test it out.
The setup was fairly easy, although the first problem was the Roomba would not dock correctly. It has to dock correctly to charge. I tried manually placing it on the dock and it just kept coming out and spinning around. It tries to dock but for some reason it can't get it right. After an hour or so I finally got it to stay in place to charge.
After it charged I set it to map the room, and it only did half of the room. My room was clean and clutter free, all other doors closed and nothing in its way.
It did somewhat of a cleaning session and when it was done it couldn't dock to empty out the debris and charge.
I looked up every possible way to troubleshoot it including factory resetting, rebooting, cleaning the dock points, and relocating the dock but it did not solve the problem. At this point I can no longer get it to charge manually. It powers off and will not stay in the dock to charge.
I contacted Roomba support and they had me do the same steps all over again.
Still no luck...They would not help me any further because it is a promotional product and is not eligible for a warranty without receipt. There was not much information on this specific product online either.
I have tried for the last week to fix it with no success and no help from the manufacturer.
I really wanted to like this machine and this brand but at this point I do not recommend it at all.
