Definitely recommend
Sound outstanding. Deep bass, especially when using the EQ in the app. Battery life is definitely not 24 hours as advertised, however on 60-70%volume is is load in my back yard and battery last about 10 hours. Battery might last 24 hours on 25% volume. Got it on sale for $399 so I am extremely happy with it

Great speaker
I got the boombox 3 for Father's day and love the full range sound it has at lower volumes. Perfect for small yards with close neibors you don't want to bother. It will play loud and rock too.

I bought the Boombox 3 several months ago and I absolutely LOVE IT. The sound quality paired with the massive bass on this thing is a beast! I highly recommend buying one for yourself if you haven’t already!

Best choice I made was needing a second
I bought one Boombox 3 & found out that I loved it so much that I bought a second Boombox 3.
I tell my friends that there a bit like potato chips and you can’t just have one.

OUTSTANDING PRODUCT IN ALL ASPECTS!!!
My son was visiting for Christmas and told me he "needed" a Wi-Fi speaker. He was complaining the 1 he researched and was the best was expensive. (He is an engineer and researches everything!) He told me how much and I told him to order 2 and Merry Christmas!
I needed 1 also, but not savvy enough to understand which is BEST! My truck is equipped with a JBL system and when he mentioned JBL I knew it would be AWESOME!
And it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very Loud Crystal Clear Sound
First Off I LOVE ALL JBL AUDIO PRODUCTS!!!! JBL in my opinion is on top when it comes to sound quality. No matter what you're listening to, it's extremely clear and defined. For you Dubstep and Bass Junkies out there, look no further. The Boombox 3 has all the bass you need in a portable platform. This beast rips hard. And the bass hits even harder. Punchy bass hits, with crsytal clear drops. Electronic Music has never sounded better.
If you want Loud as heck. This is perfect. Honestly I've gotten headaches its so darn loud. But for me Louder the better, and this unit exceeds all expectations.
The price tag can scare some away, but I assure you the JBL Boombox 3 is worth every penny and more. It's tough as nails, the quality is very high. Plus its waterproof and dustproof. I use mine in a shipyard, where it gets loud, but my speaker is louder!
Very Super Highly Recommend, I'll be JBL for Life!

Excellent Portable Sound
I use this in the yard for outdoor movie night. The sound produced is clear even at high volume. I did struggle with connecting it directly to the phone; once I downloaded the app, it connected easily. Connected the Chromecast and the Wi-Fi easily.

We love us some JBL Speakers
I am very happy with my purchase. We have 10 JBL speakers in our family and the boom box 3 is now my favorite. We started with flip 3 and then we purchased several Charge 4, 1 Extreme 2 and an Extreme 3. The Boom Box 3 has a lot more bass and depth to the sound. We also purchased 2 of the Party Box 300. These are great for more stationary use. Great for parties or gatherings. Overall, Boom Box 3 is my personal favorite.

Great sound and plenty of volume
I was looking for something with plenty of volume, great sound, and could handle wet and sandy environments. The Boombox 3 fits the bill perfectly. I have other JBL Bluetooth speakers as well, but the Boombox 3 is next level on all fronts. Very impressed. Excellent speaker.

Best in it's class.
Picked this up at Bust Buy and the sound quality is second to none. Crisp highs, punchy mids, deep lows, and you can hear every single detail. Podcasts sound amazing, and doubles as a portable soundbar for movies. I spent hours watching/reading reviews before I bought it, and there really is nothing on the market that can beat the engineering and quality that went into the Boombox3.
I own a Partybox 310 too, however the Boombox 3 sounds better overall. I noticed lower tones on the Boombox that even my much louder Partybox cannot pick up, thanks to that new sub-woofer and dedicated driver. The mid/high range sounds WAY clearer on the Boombox 3 as well.
There is one downside, is that the same battery is used for all 3 Boombox models. Since the BB3 is pushing more wattage, it's surprising they chose to use the same battery. Would like to see that upgraded in the next Boombox model. My Boombox 2 lasts longer than the Boombox 3 and I've had that for almost 5 years.

JBL You really hit this ball out of the park! The quality is beyond outstanding! Build, sound, materials! JBL, you've really come a long way, baby. 20 years ago, I thought your products were not good. Subpar build and materials quality. Did it take Samsung purchasing your parent company Harman to get the QUALITY to improve this much?! I bought this Boombox 3 expecting it to be good. It's not "good". IT IS GREAT!! Phenomenal sound even at full volume! Excellent sound detail! I hear things in my music that I've never heard before! I have a Bose Acoustic Wave Music System, it's really good! It however pales in comparison to this PHENOMENAL JBL BOOMBOX! This JBL shakes my house and, replaces a big stereo! What a great piece of audio equipment! Audiophile sound at a wonderful price! JBL, you did so well.eith this unit! Crystal clear highs, thunderous lows, stunningly accurate mids, this box exceeds my expectations in every way! I had it up to full blast the other day. 100% distortion free! Raw JBL power! This unit does not feel flimsy. It has a quality look and feel to it. Thank you for building a speaker with the sound and quality that JBL was once known for many, many years ago. As far as I'm concerned, the long time gone JBL is back! And better than ever before!

As usual a very happy JBL consumer
Ive had it for 24 hours now and was lucky enough to snag this for black friday. Been eyeballing this model for a year after my xtreme 2 finally died after MANY years and countless hours of quality music. As a chef its important a speaker can keep up with the abuse of a kitchen and JBL never falls short. Also got a clip4 for mom for her shower and shes in heaven with it. So far I typically use this at 60% volume and it came about 80% charged. Ive got easily 8 hours in so far and battery indicator still shows 25% full. I know this will last a longgggg time for me. Thanks JBL

Boombox 3 - Beast of a speaker!
Purchased for. Local retain chain, for use mostly outside on a farm. Needless to say I'm very impressed with the quality of bass and treble at higher volumes and even at the distance I am from the speaker at any given time. The boom box 3 is very sturdy and very well built. I've only cycled the battery one time so far, I did find out that I can charge something from the USB plug on the back while the speaker itself is plugged in charging. That definitely cuts down on cord clutter!
