Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent headphones with superb sound [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Live 770nc over ear headphones offer exceptional sound quality. I was impressed with the ease of use and very long battery life. The ear cup fit is comfortable and well cushioned. I’ve used them for hours streaming movies, listening to music and taking phone calls with no discomfort. The JBL app is fantastic allowing you to choose the genre of music BUT it also offers a hearing test to further customize sound, treble/bass. OUTSTANDING! I recommend these earphones without hesitation!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and great sound quality [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the headphones for a while now. I can say that they are probably one of the best over ear headphones I’ve used. There comfortable, long battery life, and good sound quality. Jbl always provides the best quality for prince in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL never fails to impress! I honestly never look at any other brand other than JBL when I’m shopping for any kind of headphones. JBL has been my go to for 10+ years now. Audio quality, charging, comfort, pricing, you name it and JBL has every brand beat! These especially are different in the fact that they feel suede and now slick. They are different and cool! I have VERY sensitive ears that I constantly have to take breaks from headphones or headphones just won’t work for me, but JBL I never have issues with theirs. I also have a very small head and these fit no problem!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well rounded headphones that are easy to love! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones have become my favorite to use! From comfort to features they check all the boxes. The head strap is cushioned really nicely that it’s comfortable to wear for a long time. Additionally, these headphones feel secure when moving around. I’ve had headphones in the past that were less cushioned and caused discomfort after wearing for a while and that’s not the case with these. I love the feature of tapping the side to pause/play/skip. It’s a really convenient feature that I find myself using every time I wear them. Lastly, with all these features in mind, as well as amazing sound clarity and bass, the battery life on these headphones is not compromised at all! They really all have it all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from JBL Live 770NC AMAZING!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL LIVE 770NC are AMAZING!!!! They are complete headphones; they bring everything you may need from noise cancellation to ambient sound. I was able to use the Live 770NC at the gym, and they were absolutely stunning. The battery lasted me more than two weeks. And with a single five-minute charge, I could get another whole four hours. What amazed me was that you can control everything from the JBL Headphones app, from the lows to the highs, to make your music unique to your ears. I was also able to use them in the café to do my studies, and they are astonishing; whenever I would put them on, the focus was amazing. With the noise cancellation, I wasn't able to hear anything other than my music. I would recommend them if you want some headphones that will bring everything to the table.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Headphones at a decent price [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones are great for a wide use case. Sitting at home and just want to listen to some music- fantastic. Traveling and don’t want to hear everything around you- it does that super well too! Walking around town and want to hear your music but also want to be aware of what’s going on around you? Well with a touch of the headset you can activate the pass talk through or the aware mode and you can be sure to hear if someone is trying to get your attention. The battery life is up there going the distance for about the times that they say sometimes it was longer sometimes a little less but I’m also using them in low twenty and teens temperatures. They also work great as musical earmuffs in the cold!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good headphones with room for little improvement. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After over a week of trying the jbl live 770 nc headphones i am impressed with how the comfort of these feel after a two hour gym session. These have amazing battery life seeing as i have been using these every day with a average of a hour and a half for 9 days and i haven't charged them at all. The ambient noise canceling works well in noisy gym environments. The sound is good for over the ear with lows, mids, and highs equally separated for balanced sound. I am not a fan of the spatial sound feature and also the touch feature on the right phone seeing as every time i went to adjust it would cause intermediate pauses even after i turned all touch functions off. In my opinion these are good headphones that i wish had one feature from the portable speaker line which is jbl connect so that multiple of these can be connected for movies or traveling so couples can partake in listening to music or watching progarams .These are great for new buyers who dont already have a older model already. In my opinion the only difference between these and the last versions of these are software upgrades with not much noticeable difference in sound. Are they worth the upgrade no in my opinion unless your older ones are ready to retire lol. On a scale from one to 10 i give these a 8.5 with room for minimal improvement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid, light, and great sound. Perfect balance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still have a desk job, and work from home. I wear these while working when I need to focus on larger tasks, such as spreadsheets or troubleshooting an issue. These are comfortable, with great sound. They're replacing my old pair of Synchro 300 series, which did me well. I like the wireless capabilities, and the ability to also use wires. I wasn't sure if I would like the active noise cancellation, but it really helps me focus. I didn't realize how much of a distraction household noises were until I turned on ANC and it wall went away. Overall sound reproduction seems very clean and accurate. Highs and mid-ranges are complete, and lows seem to be right where they should be, and not boosted. They seem to be sturdy, light-weight, and comfortable. The over-the-ear cups fit perfectly over my ears. The "squeeze" level is just about right to keep them in-place without producing fatigue. I've had other headphones that squeeze a bit too tight, and they become oncomfortable after an hour or so, but not these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Headset [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I removed everything from the box, everything looks like it is well made. You can either use this headset Bluetooth or there is a cable that can be plugged into your music device if needed. All I done was powered up the unit and found out the battery was charged up so I didn’t have to charge it. The ear cups fit perfectly over my ears. It is lighter then some other headphones I have. I paired it with my IPhone and my phone found it without any problems. It only took a few seconds. This has a noise cancellation ear cups to block the outside noise. I used to work in a record/tape plant and have been around quality sounds where you could hear each instrument being plaid. When I played a song I could not believe the quality sound I had. Each instrument could be heard separately in each ear cup and the singer was heard in the middle. I thought I was back at the manufacturer plant again. I can’t say yet as to how long the battery will last. I babe been playing it for several hours and it hasn’t died yet so I feel the battery will last for several hours without needing charged. It has a hands-free voice control that you can talk to either google or Alexa built in if you have an account. In summing up, this is the best headset I have used and would recommend it to anyone if you like listening to good music.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great headphones! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are some great headphones! Sound - incredible what's possible from a 40mm driver. The ability to eq to your preference with the phone app is a great feature. Also, the volume will go nearly as loud as you want. Sound is definitely v shaped, but can be adjusted to your liking with the app. Bass will rattle your brain if you want Noise canceling is superb, and the ability to change the setting on the headphones is a welcome feature. It really allows you to be immersed in the music.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Last all week w/single charge. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 770 does not disappoint. Smooth sound, crisp treble, and nice deep bass in this super comfortable design. I like the soft cloth covered headband, and the ear pads are comfortable even with glasses. The noise cancelling options work well, and the voiceaware modes with talkthru work seamlessly. One of my favorite parts aside from quality sound is the super long battery life and incredibly quick charge. Bluetooth was simple and quick and I can go all around the house with no interference. I do appreciate the option of wired connection. I haven’t yet connected two devices, but love having that available for tv and phone. Just a great all around set of phones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid headphone with noise dampening [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This headphone feels well built. Connection is quick and range of the connection is enough to penetrate two floors and three walls. The battery life is long and the headband is not fatiguing with several days of intermittent use from bicycling and jogging. The sound stage is excellent with good base. Noise cancellation is not aggressive so a few syllables will filter through but most of the ambient noise will be absorbed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The new generation of headphones is awesome [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing you notice when unboxing these headphones is how minimal the packaging is, JBL is really making great strides in sustainability and waste minimization. The second thing you will notice is how attractive these head phones are, materials are top notch quality and the tactile feel is very good. Charging is very quick and battery usage is very minimal, outstanding battery life. The traditional JBL power on/off tones are replaced by a very polite voice announcing "power on". The JBL headphone app is very helpful in making adjustments and visualizing the settings. The headphones fit very nicely and are comfortable for long periods. Music, of course sounds fantastic and calls are clear and convenient. Comes with a velvet travel bag and all needed cords.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from JBL focused on the RIGHT stuff!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these most of the day and evening. Morning and day, I use them to toggle between music, podcasts and conference calls on Teams. Evening, I use them when cleaning the kitchen, and then when I watch television. They are as simple as can be (in all of the right ways), and almost perfect. The noise cancelling is OUTSTANDING. Ambient Aware and Talk Through, also excellent. Can toggle between all three via a single button, or by using the JBL app. Volume is OUTSTANDING. Honestly, for such a lightweight Bluetooth set of headphones, these things ROCK. Volume goes very high, and integrity of the sound (including bass) remains high quality. All of the buttons you need to control the headphones are on the right side. It takes a bit to get used to button placement, and what each does, but once you have it down you're good to go. Battery lasts forever, and battery charges fast!!! Lastly, I am super impressed by how quickly these headphones connect to various hardware (computers, televisions, phones, etc.) ... makes it super easy just to wear around the house and yard, and connect to your preferred system. Only downside ... and reason for four (4) starts and not five (5) ... the power switch is a little weird. Not sure why, but i find it to be clumsy. Really no big deal. Rating would be 4.9 stars if that were an option.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A next generation improvement [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a huge headphone guy. I like my speakers big and shaking. But for headphones, these sound really good. They are most definitely an improvement over the previous model. Design is pretty much the same. Super comfy around the ears and on the head. Bluetooth connection was easy. The bass response has been improved. Quality is nice. Not super fancy like you are more worried you are going to break them. Noise cancelling is good. I have never really compared JBL to anyone else as i have never had the chance. I would have thought noise cancelling means dead silent, but it does not. But walking into a bathroom with a ceiling fan going and the bath running, you do not really realize it. They are lightweight and pack a solid punch in the sound department

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight, good sound, decent comfort [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones aren't the most comfortable pair I have worn, however they aren't the most uncomfortable either. Pairing happens pretty quickly, and it has an app that allows you to fine tune your audio listening experience to your liking (which is a nice touch). You can pair multiple devices at once as well, so for example it can be paired to your laptop for a movie and also paired to your phone for if you receive or needed to make a phone call. One thing that I am not super keen on is the plastic feel along with how they fit on my head/over my ears, however my wife likes them a lot and they don't seem to bother her at all. The noise canceling is pretty good and the addition of being able to toggle sound profiles (noise canceling on/off and talk through on/off) on the fly is pretty helpful. The controls on the headphones are a bit hard to get used to since everything is all on one side, but once you know where everything is and know what it does, there's no messing around trying to figure out what you desire to do. A pretty nice little travel bag was included in the box as well which is nice for if you wanted to bring these along on a trip and didn't want to wear them the whole time or something. Overall these are a great pair of headphones for someone who just wants some simple around the house noise canceling or someone who occasionally travels. I am less likely to recommend them to someone who travels frequently or has bigger ears for the two simple facts that there isn't a hardcase for these headphones (atleast not in the box), and I, someone with bigger ears, find them to be uncomfortable for extended listening sessions. Outside that, they're great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smooth design and audio [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first pair of wireless overhead USB headphones. The look is slick and smooth. The sounds are much richer than just listening through my phone or the TV, and I enjoy the freedom of not being bound by wires. Controls: All the buttons are located on the edge of the right earcup, for powering on and off, adjusting the volume, pausing and resuming the music, and toggling between noise cancelling and ambient aware. I still have to feel for the topmost button (power) and then slide down and count to find the button I want. 2 buttons down from he power button pauses and resumes the music, so does tapping on the face of the right earcup. Connectivity: Connects to 2 devices at at time, so if you already connected to your phone and laptop, it won't connect to the 3rd device, say, a treadmill, and the audio will only come from one of the 2 connected devices. Once the headphones have been paired with a device, subsequent connection is fast as soon as the headphones are turned on. Audio quality: The noise cancelling is decent. I used it on the treadmill and could hardly hear my own stomping, which was a lot more apparently when I switched it to Ambient Aware mode. On phone calls, the other side says my voice is clear; I can't really hear my voice that much though no matter how I adjusted the Talk Thru amount. Settings: Additional settings such as EQ, or Talk Thru (how much you hear yourself when you use it for phone calls), will require the phone app. The Spatial Sound setting is pretty interesting - it has Movie, Music and Game options, and the Movie option creates this environment that sort of "places" you in a larger room with reverb. Battery: The battery life is outrageaously good - I fully charged it once and I've used the headphones on average 3-4 hours a day for 13 days and it's still at 20% charged. Comfort: The headphones are snug, have stayed put even when I raise my head to put eye drops in, but I do have to give it a rest after 4 hours. Material: The arch connecting the earcups is fabric and the insides of the earcups has sort of a leatherette material - I have a pair of headphones (another brand) with that material and it eventually became flaky and peeled off, hopefully it won't happen to these. A couple glitches: A small dot of pale blue light is on when the headphones are on, which brings a bit of unexpected distraction when I wear my glasses as I keep seeing the speck of light on the right lens. When I was cooking and somehow my stir-frying motion was understood as a tap on the right earcup and kept pausing and resuming the music.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Option with this Headset [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sounds crisp. The weight on them are midway I would say. Easy set up with Siri and make sure you download the app. Pretty cool options in there like Personal Fi. It’s like taking a hearing test, but it calculates Left and right speakers to how you heard the beeps and sets treble and base. Comes with a nice carrying bag. The only other critique would be, they are tight on my head. So if you think you have a larger head, I’m not sure you would be able to wear these for long periods of time. Other than that again, JBL the sound the options you get with the app are top-notch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Balanced Headphones with Innovative Customization [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Overall: These headphones provide an impressive experience that is nothing to shirk at, as I have found myself enjoying what feels like a personal mini-renaissance in music. The high points of these headphones are the sound customization and relative quality for price, the over-ear comfort, and the battery life, which is a feature that has been increasingly impressive as I’ve used them. Although the sound customization is a nice feature via the JBL app, I’m not sure if it is altogether great, and I will dive into this later on. The headphones are light and definitely easy to move around with, which makes them optimal for commuting, but this has its costs compared to more expensive and heavier headphones in regards to optimal sound quality. Last, it was disheartening when opening the box to see that these headphones do not come with a hard-shell case, but rather, we get a draw-string bag, so I will be using an old case to protect this sound investment (get it?). Overall, this is a balanced product targeted at people on the move who want a customized feel and relatively good-quality sound to listen to. Hardware and Touch System: Upon unboxing, again, I really wish these headphones had a hard-shell case, especially for their price. Other than that, they look sleek and feel plush and comfy on the ears. I’ve sat with them for hours, getting work done, and have not had any issues. The touch system was confusing at first, and I do get confused from time to time trying to adjust the volume or pass up on a song as the touch interface is only the surface of the right headphone. It’s nice to have it all located in one spot, but the sensitivity of touch can be frustrating sometimes, especially if I’m lying on my pillow. The battery life is sublime. I’ve left these headphones on all night by accident, and they have continued to play for me the entirety of the next day. They finally did run out of battery, but I placed them on charge for ten minutes, and I haven’t charged them again since, and that was a day or so ago. WOW. Props to JBL for battery life! Sound and App Customization (Sound and Gestures): JBL can produce some amazing sound, and these headphones are quality, but they aren’t the best sound JBL has produced. But that isn’t their point. These headphones still produce great-quality sound, and that must be acknowledged, but they also give the user freedom of movement, and that has costs. Further, JBL has compensated for this by giving us the JBL app, which gives us the ability to alter the sound in a way I have never seen before. Ugh, not another app... That is what I thought. Then I downloaded it and started diving into what I could do with these headphones. Right off the bat, the noise-canceling with these headphones is very good and very customizable, as you can choose from several levels (I go all in). You can toggle between this and ambient or “talk through” in the app (literally hear someone speak so you can have a conversation with the headphones on). This is neat, but if I need to talk to someone, I won’t be opening this app and clicking “talk through” to do so. LUCKILY You can customize all your gestures on the app so you can make the touch operation of your headphone how you want it, which is another new feature that deserves kudos. You can even alter the amount of voice you want to hear through the headphones if you like. The biggest feature on this app is the Equalizer, where you can adjust the sound down to the decibels in terms of bass, mid, and treble. I thought this was super cool at first, but then I realized that I wanted all the sound all the time, and that, for me, gave me the best quality experience. So, I have my personal EQ up all the time. Others may want their bass down or what have you, but I like my sound bumping. There are so many other features worth exploring on this app, like enhanced spatial sound that gives you a cool immersive feel like you're in a room with the artist or right/left sound balance, which I personally don’t touch. It’s worth going through and finding your sound with this app, which is super cool to have the ability to do. Last Words: Again, I think these headphones are a good option for the price. It has competitive and immersive sound features combined with comfort and relative ease of use that provide an overall pleasant experience. And I have to mention the battery life again; it is phenomenal!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Headphones that won't disappoint! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones feel premium in quality. They are comfortable to wear all day and at times you even forget that you have them on. The sound quality is top tier when using them in the gym or just having a normal phone conversation. The typical JBL features of ambient noise and noise cancelling works as expected. They also stay charged for long periods of time so you can go days without having to recharge. They also come in a very fancy safekeeping bag which is a great feature to have when throwing them into a backpack to prevent breakage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Noise Cancelling headphones [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised how great it cancelled outside noise. I own apple airpods and thought the AirPods were one of the best at noise cancelling but this surprised me. Great work on that JBL! The sound quality is good but it is hard to differentiate it from my AirPods. I like the build quality and it takes some getting used to regarding where the buttons are. It would be nice to have the volume on one side and maybe the power on the other side so it’s less confusing. In terms of the comfort it is just okay..after about 30 minutes of wearing it my ears started getting sore but it all depends on your body and it’s different for everyone. I wish it we can adjust how tight it is in terms of the pressure on my ears. Overall I am happy with the headphones but wish it was more comfortable.
