Awesome headset!
I bought this 3 weeks ago and they are awesome soundproof and the mic mutes when you put it up and it can be loud enough to take off your head and be used as speakers. I love em and think they were a great buy!

Best gaming headset I've owned
2 turtle Beach, multiple no name, Sony, samsung ear bugs...
these are by far the clearest, most comfortable/adjustable and loudest. upped my kills drastically as now I can actually discern the direction of other players.

Great spatial sound

I even tried it using for ipad and other music apps, the built in microphone is on point for most user and it's just perfect for it's price range. It is optimized for window and best work on it.

Excellent for work purposes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fair warning-- I'm not a gamer. For my job, I observe videos of classroom instruction. I need to be able to hear both student contributions and teacher responses. I've tried a lot of other headphones and these are the best for the job.They have high quality sound (quick fine tune volume on the left ear), a good mic (for my work conference calls), comfortable, and do a great job of blocking out background sounds at my own work place. I also prefer the wired in/cable option to the Bluetooth because I hate waiting for Bluetooth for connect.

Headphones with 5.1 surround creates a killer gaming experience. You actually feel like you’re in the middle of all the action and yet positioned correctly in the scene. Great for Ham Radio too!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are really nice headphones. I have used them for listening to YouVideos and such. Also plugged them into my cell phone and listened to music. Great sound and really nice bass.Actually the whole range was excellent.Seems there really is "space" between the lows and highs,they are really separated.
I am a licensed Amateur Radio operator and
used them with Ham Radio software and my audio reports were excellent!
Seems the mic really is tuned for the speech range and sounds outside that are kind of muffled or muted. Nice audio punch without having to yell into a microphone.
Pro's...Light weight and great sound.
Con's.. They seem a little tight on my ears,and also a little hot after a while.
(The tight fit does block out external sounds though)
These are definitely worth considering if your
in the market for some new cans.

Best yet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Quantum 300 came at the perfect time! With the majority of the world moving to a work from home environment, Schools closing and it becoming more likely all interaction would happen via some sort of online media... I NEEDED a great headphone for all uses. The Q300 fit comfortably for an entire 8 hour work day. The audio was crisp and clear to me as well as the the other Webex attendees. Both extremely important, but seriously... music and video games were equally important. Since I share an office with my wife, its good to enjoy a great range of tunes and not bother her meetings. By far, the best wired headphones I have ever owned.
Just to round out the experience, I gave my now Professional video game playing son a go at the headset. He being a 14 year old pro... rated them 5 out of 5. they worked great on his PS4 for fortnite... chatting and such. He then tried them out for a cinema experience with COD campaign. again... 5 out of 5.

Welcome to 5.1 Surround
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been gaming since the floppy disc was used to boot up a computer and as such I have been though mutiple configurations of sound systems for both games and music. It got so bad at one time that a had a system on my desk for both music and games.Headphones are a similar story and when I saw the JBLheadphones for gaming, I said here we go again with the promise of surround.
Opening the box, I was greeted by the headphone, of course, and what this a USB stick? Pluged it into my computer and immediately started downloading the Quantum software. This turned out to be a customizable app for the headphones, how cool.
First impression of the headphones were how light they were, but being all plastic except for the pads of course, I am not sure on the long run durability. However, they fit on the head comfortably and gave it my two plus hour of test drive with no issues of comfort or fatigue.
Went back to games I already knew such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare and after going through a few levels I was surprisied at the sonic level that these headphones provided.
The game recognized the headphones as 5.1 so no reconfiguring there. There was enough bass to make the impacts real but not overpowering the open and spacious sound.The background radio tranmissions could be heard clearly even when the action got busy. Gun fire while not in your face provides clarity and when gun fire erupted in a tunnel or room the reverberation sounded terrific.Positioning was very
good and when jets flew over you knew where they were coming from and going to.
ONE big thing that was killer was incuding an analog volume control on the headphones. How many times have you started a game where the volume was too low or too high? Perfect solution.
Where others missed JBL got this right. The software,the clarity, the sound immersion, and the cost of admission makes this a terrific value.

Great for video conferencing too
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though the headphones were created for the gamers I found they work great for video conferencing apps as well. The package comes with a 3.5mm jack and a 3.5mm to USB adapter so if your laptop does not come with an auxiliary jack you can still use the USB adapter. The left cup has a volume control and microphone. The cushions are comfortable but not too bulky. I tested the headphones on Zoom, Google Meet and Facebook Messenger and are all compatible. Now that we are allowed to work remote full time, these video conferencing tools have become so essential.

Amazing sounds and great mic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product from the JBL backstage program and have been needing a new headset for when I play. modern warfare and let me say this headset is a live saver. I can hear all my surroundings with no delay and my friends on the other side can hear me so clearly with no delay this headset is truly as good no actually its better then the competition like steel series and razor this line of headsets sets a whole new standard for them to compete with JBL did a truly amazing job with this and I hope to see more people buy and see the same results I have this is for sure going to be a 5 star from me and I am making all my friends buy a pair truly amazing.

Adequate for meetings
Has what I wanted:

* USB or stereo phono jack
The cups are comfortable.
Others say they can hear me well.
The "flip to mute" is handy.
Love the *volume roller* vs. up/down buttons that seem to be popular these days :eyeroll:
One negative: the volume roller (on the left cup) is very easy to move. However, due to its location, you can unintentionally set the volume to zero or to ten. Perhaps a roller with detents would be more appropriate.

Greatest Headset I Owned Until It Broke
Doing Work From home requires talking on the phone once in a while, and to be fair, this headset got a workout on a daily basis. Good stereo sound, and team mates could hear me very well! Much better than the free headset earplugs that come with a new cell phone. Trouble is, once too many times picking up to use it. The hinge on one of the ear cups just gave up, no use trying to tape it back together or anything. Again, to be fair, it got a lot of use over the last year and a half! I'll buy one again, and I wish I could keep using this one.

Great Sound Quality with Plenty of Comfort
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this headset for a few different functions. I tried it out on my PS4 playing Call of Duty. My favorite thing about these headphones is the Over the Ear fit because it allowed my to drown out the background noise of my living room. You have clear sound that allows you to hear leaves rustling and footsteps of the people you're playing against.
I also used these during a few online meetings and webinars. The quality of the sound allowed for clear listening, no distortion, and allowed me to be able to talk clearly to the people in the meetings. They are light-weight, so it didn't make my head as heavy like some of the other headphones that I have used in the past.
I listened to a few songs from my playlist to see if they had that True JBL sound that all my other JBL products have. I wasn't disappointed, which is what I expected! Crystal clear sound, decent bass, and amazing mid-range sound make these the perfect all-around headphones!

Overall would recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfort: The earmuffs looked and felt extremely comfortable, but the headstrap looked underpadded, as it is only the very top that is padded and not the sides. I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable the headstrap actually was. Even after 6 hours of gaming, it did not hurt my head and you can hardly tell the earmuffs are actually on your head.
Audio: The first thing I did with the headphones was listen to music with just the 3.5mm jack. The sound quality was less than great and missing depth. Then I connected the USB adapter to the headphones and listen to music. Right after I plugged the USB into my computer a window popped up and asked if I wanted to download the JBL Quantum Engine. I wanted to test the audio quality of just the headphones alone, so tried them out with the USB and no Quantum Engine. They sounded the same as if they are just plugged in with the 3.5mm jack. When you download the Quantum Engine and set it up and turn spatial sound on is when they turn into the best headphones I have ever owned. I tried this headset playing a racing simulation game and it is very immersive and you can tell exactly where other cars are positioned near you from sound alone. Also, I tried them out on a First Person Shooter and the footsteps are accurately portrayed and clear.
Microphone: The Mic quality is nothing special but very clear.
Misc: It is extremely convenient when you plug the USB into a computer and it pops up a window asking if you want to download the Quantum Engine instead of going to their website and looking for a download link. It has a long cord when plugged into USB adaptor.

Great sound

Overall sound is balanced, the bass are nice and clear. High notes are nice and it's a good value for product. 4 Star beacuse you cannot take the Mic off the headphones and you can feel it's weight.
