Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Ear Buds Ever Bought these a month ago and use them out in public. I love that they don’t hurt my ears like normal ear buds since they don’t go in the ear. They just rest there. They’re really comfortable and I can wear them all day with no issue. The sound quality is great. I can listen to conversations easily while having music play and I can always turn the volume up to drown out outside noise too. Though be careful since others can hear if it’s too loud. The charge battery lasts a long time on the case and yes, the buds charge in the case. Overall, really love my new JBL sense lite a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lite and safe with great sound [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving these JBL sense lite headphones! They truly are “lite” to wear and quite comfortable. Great for times when you want to listen to tunes while still hearing what’s going on around you and most importantly keep safe. I can go on a run and feel at ease as I can hear on coming traffic or other patrons. They stay on very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They will feel a bit strange if you have not used [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well if you have never have worn over the ear Bluetooth headphones your in for a nice surprise. The design is simple yet effective. Light weight and the sound is amazing. Much better than expected. Fit takes some getting used to but when you find the right angle to put it in on. It fits great and won’t hurt your ears. Sometimes with in the ear headphones you get an itch but you avoid that all together with these on. They work great for taking phone calls as well. They hold a charge pretty long and last longer than u had expected them to off the charger. What makes over the ear headphones nice is that you are still able to hear things going on around you but still sounds loud enough to where it won’t district you either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two things jump to mind is the comfort and the sou [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice alternative from in canal earbuds. Lightweight and amazingly comfortable. SOUND: Don't expect great bass, but a balanced sound for extended listening. Rounded sound, not sharp. Call the sound entertaining. Finding I use these more often than other earbuds. From Gregorian Chants to Big Band to classical to Rock & Roll, did well, no surprises. Note: not all type C cables will fit and charge properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort for long hours [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed was how comfortable this was. The ear hook design felt stable without putting pressure into the ear. I can wear them for long hours without feeling fatigue. Sound quality is solid especially when they are open ear. What I appreciate the most is being able to hear my surroundings. As a father, being aware of my surroundings is importance and at the same time I’m able to take calls or listen to music. Can quality is also clear and the charging case is well designed as the ear buds magnetically snap in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Recommend Open-Ear Headphones [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had them for about a week now and compare to other open-ear earphones I have, these are my number one. I usually use them at work and the gym and with the ability to listen around me and still have amazing sound quality is great. They feel great on the ear with no discomfort on the ear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great All Day, All Use Earbuds [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These earbuds are next level! They are stylish and comfortable to wear, and they stay secure even while exercising. The sound is clear and crisp and does a great job of keeping out noise so your music or call is clear. The mics pick up exactly what you want for your phone calls. The battery seems to last for ever which means I can keep them in all day long. All in all 5 Stars

Rated 5 out of 5 by from On The Go —-Entertainment Plus [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When introduced to stereo systems way back in the 60’s, it increased my love of music that soon grew into becoming an active part time musician for more than 40 years. These combined influences made me particular in how I listen to music. If it doesn’t rock my socks and provide the clarity to make my ears dance I quickly move on. However when introduced to the open ear concept by JBL a few years ago, it confirmed my opinion that you don’t need a ton of dough to get your jam on. These Sense Lites improved on a product that I thought did not need improving. The obvious. Instantaneous Bluetooth connection without dropouts. Earpiece controls intuitive and quick. Terrific carrying case that charges the ear pieces. Now for the good stuff.. I’m in when anything says lite. The JBL Sense Lite is super comfortable that you forget you have them on. The fit sits more in the ear lobe, but not inside the ear. You get that open sound that is mixed towards a more neutral sound without pushing a frequency. The genre that I was listening to while braking these in, went from Hip Hop,Heavy Metal, Big Band, etc. all with ear dancing results. The benefit of having great sound without pushing an open design is you are not shut out from your surroundings. My urban walks, waiting room blues, waiting for my wife, (Long battery life was proven.) etc. is a convenient way to wait while jamming without missing your cues. JBL does not sit on their hands and the introduction of the “Lites” is proof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound and incredibly comfortable. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my JBL Sense Lite open ear headphones and have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. I had my reservations about how well the open ear design would sound, but was immediately impressed with the sound quality. Everything was crisp and clear, sharp treble and decent bass. I do wish these had the noise canceling feature, but surprisingly, outside noise was not discernible even without noise canceling. I truly can’t get over how incredibly comfortable these are. Within minutes of wearing the Sense Lites, other than the music playing, it’s easy to forget your wearing anything. I would recommend these to anyone and have to admit, I’m a fan!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great option if your use case leads you to these. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Sense provides a unique take on traditional earbuds. If you're someone that doesn't enjoy the feeling of in ear earbuds, the Sense Lite is a great option for you. Because the headphones sit on top of the was, they also provide a great option for office environments where to need to will be able to hear your surroundings. The sound quality is solid and the controls are easy to use. The over the ear fit is comfortable and easy to position. While I think in ear buds provide an overall better audio experience, these earbuds offer an excellent option for anyone that doesn't like the in ear feeling or needs to better hear their surroundings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I won’t be taking these off [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been skeptical of out of ear earbuds. Most of them will have to make compromises on bass and are never as good for things like podcasts or audio books. These buds are changing my mind. I can hear everything around me and even have a conversation all while having a quality music experience. Lite is definitely a good word to describe them as you can barely feel them on your ears. Though the earbuds feel like they’ll hold up to rough treatment, the case does not feel as durable. I’ve taken them climbing and snowboarding with no worries, and they are my new yoga partner. The case doesn’t have my trust.

Its compatible and easy to carry anywhere. It charges fast and the battery lasts for a good amount of time. Very reliable headphones at any time and place. The way the headphones are assembled makes it easy to put on your ear and easy to take off, built very well for those who want a more secure feeling on their ear. They make the assembly simple by providing easy to put together instructions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable and can still hear around you. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've enjoyed using the JBL Sense Lite. The wraps around fit while leaving your ear uncovered is a feature I want. It allows me to listen to different media and still hear ambient noises. This is great for walking or working. Controls work well but with them being touch sensitive, it can lead to accidental inputs. The fit is excellent and they are extremely comfortable. To the point I forget I'm wearing them at times. My only complaint with fit is they sit easy with no pressure, which is great, but anything with quick changes in direction will make them fall off my ear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for calls and average songs [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall they're pretty comfortable. I like that they stay cleaner than traditional earbuds since they're an open ear design. The charging case is nice and small, so its easy to fit in a pocket. They seem pretty durable too. Time will tell how long the battery last but I can easily get a full day of use while at work, detailing cars! The sound is very crisp and you can adjust settings in the app. The mid-range bass is pretty good, but when it comes to a "beat drop" or the main part of a song they seem underpowered and the sound diminishes almost to an alarm clock sound. As far as bass im disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable, Impressive Sound Quality, Great for A [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Sense Lite were incredibly easy to connect to my phone. They worked seamlessly out of the box. They have been my go to headphones for early morning runs and walking the dogs, helping me stay aware of my surroundings and not blocking out the world. The sound quality has worked very well with my active lifestyle. It almost feels like I am in the room with the podcast hosts. They were comfortable during my 60-90 minute runs and had plenty of battery left to keep on going. The touch controls are easy, albeit a little sensitive. That is my only downside!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good set if you have hard ear bones [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound is clear and balanced, especially casual music. Because they are open ear, I can hear my surroundings, which makes safe to wear them when I walk my dog. They are not ideal in loud environments. The battery life is strong. The quick charge feature is very convenient. They are lightweight and designed to be comfortable, but it really depends on your ear shape. I have small soft ear bones and they don’t stay on very well for me. That said other users may find them perfectly secure overall is a great set for everything you use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good sound and comfortable fit [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality is pretty good! The over the ear fit is surprisingly comfortable. The battery life on these earpieces are very good too! The only complaint i have is that when you listen at high volume, everyone else nearby can hear you too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great battery life but could use some improvements [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a big JBL fan and am usually usually impressed by their products. Unfortunately these fell short of expectations. After a couple hours there was a tender spot on one of my ears. The fit seemed a little off. It gets a little harder to hear in noisier settings compared to in ear headphones. It did give me some errors What did impress me was how light they felt and the battery life.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Innovative design and great sound, but not for eve [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] **Sound**: JBL’s OpenSound technology is both innovative and unique. Despite the open-ear design, there is no noticeable loss in audio quality, particularly in the lows and highs. As a frequent listener, I can clearly recognize JBL’s signature sound profile in these earbuds. The bass is strong, punchy, and bouncy, while the mids and highs remain very clear. I also did not experience any noticeable distortion, even at the highest volume levels. I frequently use the 16k equalizer, and even the minimal adjustments I made in the JBL Headphones app were noticeable. However, the maximum volume level can sometimes feel slightly limited, even with the Max Volume Limiter setting turned off. On several occasions, I found myself going back to my phone to increase the volume, only to realize it was already at maximum. **Open Ear Design**: If you have used JBL earbuds before, you are likely familiar with the iconic Ambient Aware feature. It allows you to clearly hear your surroundings and is especially useful outdoors. With this design, however, it feels like that feature is always on and cannot be turned off. Personally, this is a significant drawback. I prefer having the flexibility to choose my listening settings, especially since both Ambient Aware and Noise Canceling features work extremely well on several other JBL earbuds that I own. Sometimes you simply need silence, sound reduction, and the ability to fully focus on your music, podcast, calls, or voice messages. These earbuds are intentionally designed to leave the ear canal open so users can remain aware of their surroundings while still keeping audio relatively private. While the technology is impressive and the features are more advanced than many of my other JBL earbuds, this design is simply not ideal for my personal listening preferences. That said, for this category of open-ear earbuds, they are likely among the best-in-class options available. **Comfort**: These are the lightest JBL earbuds I own. They feel incredibly light on the ear, lighter even than some of the smallest in-ear models. Overall, they are comfortable for long listening sessions. However, because I wear glasses and occasionally wear a hoodie during workouts, I found that these items can interfere with the earbuds. Glasses tend to press against them, and a hoodie can rub against them, which sometimes moves them out of place or creates external friction noises. You may also hear light scratching sounds when glasses shift and come into contact with the earbuds. Since they do not sit inside the ear canal, even a small shift in angle can feel noticeable and may require repositioning. If you plan to wear them on their own and avoid intense workouts, I would definitely recommend them. Otherwise, it may be better to consider JBL in-ear or even over-ear headphones. **Microphone**: I have received multiple compliments from callers regarding the microphone quality. The audio sounds crisp and clear, as the packaging suggests. Unlike some other JBL earbuds, these do not include the VoiceAware feature. However, due to the open-ear design, I do not find that feature necessary. **Charging Case & Battery Life**: Because of the ear hooks, the charging case is quite thick and large, making it somewhat difficult to fit into smaller pockets. However, it is very lightweight, just like the earbuds themselves, and has a sleek finish. In terms of battery life, the earbuds never ran out of power during my use, and they recharge relatively quickly. When paired with the JBL Headphones app, you get a clear view of the battery percentage for both the earbuds and the case. You can also adjust the auto power-off setting to help conserve battery when the earbuds are not in use. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the battery performance of this model. One small note: a USB Type-C charging cable is not included in the box. **Final Verdict**: I genuinely enjoy the sound quality and OpenSound technology. It is a thoughtful design that promotes ear health, and the lightweight build makes the earbuds very easy to wear. However, constantly hearing surrounding noise can make them feel somewhat limited in certain situations. At this price point, I could purchase another pair of JBL earbuds that offer the flexibility of this design along with active noise cancellation. I find myself reaching for this pair when going for a walk, grocery shopping, or sightseeing. For longer days, commuting, or traveling, I would still prefer my regular in-ear JBL earbuds for better noise reduction.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice look, not so nice fit [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has a sleek look. Very innovative functioning as well. The challenge with this particular product is the fit. Although the directions are clear, it is a struggle to feel like they are secure. If you are someone that does not need a fitted ear peice, this is for you. I found myself fidgeting with it because I could not tell if it was on my ear correctly or if it was going to fall off. Also, When walking I noticed that the connection with my phone would go in and out if I didn't have my phone in my hand. If I had it in my pocket or in my bag, it would sound almost like static at times. I did not prefer this product, but JBL over all is still my preferred brand.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy to use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very easy to use and connect to. The sound quality isn’t as good as I hoped but still good to use. They’re comfortable in my ears and the battery lasts a long time (can’t give an exact time but long enough). If you’re looking for the best quality for music and or gaming, it may not be for you. Although it’s good for phone calls

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke after 3 months Unfortunately after 3 months these earphones gave in. It doesn't always charge when plugged in and doesn't turn off when I put them in their box, causing the battery to always be flat. They are now completely unusable. Disappointed since I always backed JBLs quality.
