5/5 Excellent overall.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's start with why I chose 5 stars:
1) Comfort: These headphones are incredibly comfortable and have the perfect amount of cushion, weight, and snugness. You can wear them for several hours without even thinking about it.
2) Battery life: Once these babies are fully charged, you don't have to worry about recharging them for a WEEK OR MORE. Even while using them daily, once per week is likely to be your average. Battery life is simply insane.
Now, let's talk about features: Excellent. The JBL Headphones App provides all the bells and whistles you might need to tweak the sound (like equalizer) or mess with high-fidelity options like LE Audio or Spatial Sound. You can also customize Noise Canceling or engage with a feature called "Personi-Fi" (Sounds cool but I've never personally been able to make it actually work).
Anyway, plenty of features and ways to customize.
Finally: Do these headphones actually sound good?
Absolutely! The sound is clear, dynamic, and full of low, punchy bass. I'm actually surprised by how low the bass gets - definitely below 35HZ. Any genre of music can shine through these headphones, but EDM especially jumps out. The stereo separation and spatial broadcasting is very, very good.
So, any downsides?
Yes. The buttons on the side of the earphones are virtually indistinguishable from one another. I can never tell which button actually turns the dang thing on. Without either a microscope or a tutorial, there's no telling what these buttons actually do. You're better off just using your phone and operating from the JBL app.
Having said that, these headphones are simply outstanding. The overwhelming positives far outweigh the slight negatives. When talking about quality and value, you can't really beat the JBL Tune 780NC headphones right now.

Longer wearabilty with better ear cushioning.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These lightweight nose canceling phones are such an upgrade from the last. The ear pieces are much larger and more cushioned for longer wear and more silencing. I can wear them longer without my ears feeling crushed. I love the balanced sound and the longer charge. Plus they have better distance so you don't have to be tethered to your phone. Super easy to connect and adjust. Simple to use and crisp clean sound.

Loved them - Great headphones 🎧
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved these headphones, I had no issues with connectivity. They fit perfectly and covered my big ears. These felt comfortable to wear all day and were light enough that they didn't get in the way. The biggest feature I loved about these was the LE audio setting from the app. You get way better quality sound from what it already delivers and bass, lows and highs are great. I enjoyed listening to music and watching videos all day and the noise cancelling feature topped it off. I couldn't hear the people in the same room after turning it on. Definitely would recommend trying them out. I haven't stopped using them and the battery is great.

Comfortable, durable, amazing sound, long battery life
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my JBL tune 780NC headset. The pairing of Bluetooth was simple, it was simple, I turned on my headset went into settings on my phone and the JBL 780NC was already listed. I clicked it and it paired immediately, it took me a matter of seconds, super easy!!
The sound is incredible. It's a different experience hearing your music through this headset. The sound is so crystal clear, I heard and understood lyrics so differently. JBL always has the best sound! The bass is perfect, it’s hard to listen to music any other way cause I have never heard the words to songs that clearly. It feels like you are in the same room with the artist. Even older songs that can sound janky are so crisp.
One of my favorite features is the noise canceling. I can get lost in my own world and escape. I feel like the noise canceling enhanced the incredible sound. There is a button next to the power button, to turn off the noise canceling, so it’s up to your discretion if you want to use that feature or when you choose to use that feature. I love the option to turn off noise canceling.
With the feature if the ear cushions turning 90° you are able to put them around your neck and listen to them without having them over your ears, which I found to be a wonderful feature.
This headset is durable, you are able to twist and bend them without any damage to the headset and I think that is a good feature for teenagers who are harder on things.
The battery life last for weeks, I use my headphones daily and rarely have to charge them. My daughter’s headphones were not charged so she ended up borrowing my JBL 780NC and now she wants to trade me headphones. She absolutely loves mine!!
I highly recommend JBL 780NC they are comfortable, versatile, have amazing sound and the battery life is incredible!

Everything is crisp and clear. Well balanced using them for phone calls is also very clear in good sounding. This is the battery life really long I highly recommend them for the value. Using the app or the controls on the earpiece are both easy.

Sound and comfort in a quality package
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super comfortable, super light weight even on my very large melon! Wore these for over an hour and had no discomfort as I've had with other over the ear headphones on the post. Sound wise they sound fantastic. You really need the JBL related app to tune in the tone you love. The app is easy to use and really let me dial in a great experience and got me my preferred bass response. Music, podcasts, and phone calls all sounded clear and the person on the other end of the call said my voice sounded clear. Pairing was a breeze and the battery has lasted all day for me. Highly recommend these headphones.

Personi-Fi is a game changer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took these on a flight to see how the noise cancelling perform. These came through with flying colors. They have a new feature called Personi-Fi it's a quick test takes about 2 min. What this does is test your hearing and where you lack sound it fixes it for you.For example with me was vocals and some highs. You turn it on with app which is very easy.I was listening to the music which I thought sounded great already and then I click it on and wow what a difference the words were clear and highs crisp.Very noticeable difference highly recommend using this feature. The set up was super easy connecting off on noise cancelling was simple.Comforable with big cups and cushion on head.Sound was amazing especially after using the new feature Personi-Fi. Can't say this enough. There plenty loud and drown out outside noise very well.My new travel headphones but one thing I didn't like was no traveling pouch or case.

Classic look with modern features and good sound.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m kind of surprised at the sound from these guys. Looks like a basic pair but has nice features. Definitely get the JBL headphones app. The EQ and settings makes a difference. It has noise cancelling and ambient aware and you can tell the difference. Even has a microphone so you can take calls. It doesn’t come with a charge chord fyi but it’s the typical usb C so you probably have 6 of them already. It does come with a 3mm jack so you can plug it in to a non-Bluetooth device if needed like a desktop or work phone etc. The buttons could be a little bigger but you get used to them. The volume button has a center section that has multiple functions that you can set up in the app. One button is the switch between ambient aware, noise cancelling and talk-through. And then power on/off or double tap for Bluetooth connecting.

JBL Tune 780NC: Amazing.
I bought this around a week ago and it has worked perfectly, it does everything it needs to do, good sound quality, good noise cancelling and microphone noise cancelling, has 3 modes you can open and close. And for that price it is just amazing. I recommend this to everyone who wants good budget headphones.

A solid budget-tier JBL headset that handles sound and ANC well enough, with the biggest tradeoffs being controls, fit, and portability.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tune 780NC headphones feel appropriately positioned as a more budget-friendly over-ear option from JBL. They do what they are supposed to do: the sound is fine for everyday listening, the noise cancelling works well enough, and they are comfortable enough for casual use.
The tradeoffs are mostly in the design and controls. They do not feel as premium as JBL’s higher-end models, which is understandable at this tier, but still noticeable. They also do not fold flat very well, so they are less convenient to store or carry than I would like.
My biggest issue is the button layout. Having all the controls on one ear cup, split between the front and back edges, makes them harder to use by feel than they need to be. It is not a dealbreaker, but it does make adjusting volume, playback, or noise cancelling feel more tedious than expected.
Fit may also be worth noting for people with smaller heads. These do not collapse down as far as some other headphones, so they may feel a little loose depending on your head size.
Overall, these are a solid value-tier pair of over-ear headphones. They sound decent, the ANC is useful, and they function as intended. I would recommend them if the price is right, but the controls, fit, and portability are the main compromises to be aware of.

Budget price to entry premium above mid tier product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sound- deep base, punchy signature voice for jbl product line. While low is good, this one also offer clear and crisp high frequencies.
Spatial audio feature is a plus at this price point. App customization make it perfect for audiophile.
Connectivity - stable bluetooth 6.0 and connect two devices simultaneously without issues.
Connect easily with android by google fast pair feature and windiw swift pair with window computer.
Comfort- 225 grams fairly lightweight and deeper ear pads which made it more comfortable than prior 770NC. NO PRESSURE HOTSPOTS SO FAR. easy to travel wirh foldable design but no carrying pouch is provided.
Retail for 149ish made it sweet as mid tier headphone while you can taste the premium like product although there are something missing compared to the premium headset.
Battery lasts a long time 4-5 hours of daily listening with ANC on lasts easily throughout the week without the need for charging. However keep in mind, ANC is weak although not bad compare to budget one, there is room for a lot of improvement.
Overall, well worth the money you spent with the features and quality you get.

Dependable, easy, exactly what you expect from JBL.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the headphones did exactly what I needed them to do on a business trip. Got me through 2 flights, 1 connection, and a conference call. The noise canceling worked well on both an older regional jet and a newer plane. It helped block out the sound of a crying baby across the aisle and had plenty of battery power to spare! The sleek and classic design of the headphones were perfect for my vibe. The headphones sat well on my head but I did notice some headphone fatigue from the ear cups towards the end of my second flight. I would say they are great for short trips and have plenty of battery life.
