Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best headphones I've ever had [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This headphone is amazing, lightweight, the sound quality has JBL's standard amazing quality, lots of bass to the bass lovers, and the noise canceling is amazing, not only I can't hear people around me when it's on, but people can't also hear what I'm listening too. 100% recommend. Plus the battery lasts for days!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Killer headphones for the price [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, a fantastic headset, reminiscent of the Everest 710! Fantastic sound, comfortable, beware for long periods of time, perfect connectivity, and microphones that you actually want to talk on! Still wish there was Lossless, but maybe next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great noise cancelling "cans" [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting some noise cancelling over the ear headphones for a while now, and these didn't disappoint. I have so far used them for several hours on the weekend paired to my phone via Bluetooth. I was doing some home improvements and running a very loud shop vac nearby for hours at a time and with the noise cancelling active the noise was greatly reduced and I was able to listen to music and podcasts at a normal sound level. Then when I wasn't running the vacuum I used the talk through feature so if my family came to talk to me I could still hear them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "These things Rock" [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These over the ear headphones were quick to become my favorite. In addition to a 70 + hour battery charge they have a quick charge - 5 minutes gets you 3 hours when you're in a hurry. They were very easy to pair via Bluetooth, and the adaptive noise cancelling feature worked really well. My favorite feature is that the sound level is adjustable, which was a pleasant surprise. One of my biggest complaints with headphones is that they don't get loud enough for me, well just hit the "+" button and these things get loud. I found myself actually turning the volume down just a bit on my phone. Liked the flat folding feature when not in use for storage. Go from listening to music to answering phone calls almost seamlessly. Product and sound quality are what you would expect from a JBL product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid headphone offering from Tune line [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A really solid overall offering by JBL, the 770 noise cancelling headphones are the current flagship of the Tune line. Very good sound quality and tone balance for what I would consider an "on ear" headphone as the ear cups are not large enough to go over my ears. However, they are still lightweight and comfortable. Bluetooth connectivity was excellent and they are fully supported by the JBL Headphone app for iOS which allows you to adjust the noise cancelling mode, EQ, and even firmware update which is a nice supported feature for a relatively inexpensive model. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bluetooth headphones [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I really like this set of headphones. They have excellent sound quality, as I have come to expect from JBL, and the ability to adjust the settings (equalizers, noise cancelling, etc.) in the app is a really nice bonus, especially if you have a preference for more or less bass versus vocals. One of the big advantages that I noticed immediately is that there are controls on the headphones if you want to use them and/or don’t have your phone or other device in hand when you need the controls. It takes a little bit to get a feel for where the buttons are, but I really appreciate having a button that lets me easily toggle between noise cancelling, ambient aware, and talk through. I haven’t used the others much at all since it’s easier to just adjust volume, skip tracks, etc. when listening to music from my phone, but I could see the other buttons being really valuable when being connected to other devices that are not within easy reach. Most of their basic functions are really intuitive, though it might take a while to get used to the extra controls that are available with a long press or double-tap. The microphone on this headset is fantastic. Calls were very clear in both directions, and the over ear headset made it a little easier to block out distractions on a work call so that I could just stay focused on the business at hand. I haven’t tried making a call in windy conditions yet, so I can’t speak to that, but calling when indoors was especially clear (and the mic even picked up the bit of echo when I walked into a small room). So far, I’ve used these mostly to listen to music while working and simultaneously walking on a treadmill desk, including all-day work sessions with only a few breaks. These stayed comfortable all day, unlike most earbuds, and also did a nice job of blocking out the noise of my treadmill to make it easier to focus. The noise cancellation isn’t perfect- a little bit of sound does still get through—but it’s better noise cancellation than I get with my best noise-cancelling earbuds and is more than enough to tune out distractions. The leather on the ear covers is really soft and comfortable. It did get a little sweaty after a few hours of walking, but wiped off easily. I probably wouldn’t use these to work out, and they’re not small enough to easily toss in my work tote, but these will definitely be my go-to for days that I’m working from home and for when I need to tune out significant noise. These are also likely to become my airplane headphones for long international trips as well because they’ll make it so much easier to sleep. Finally, if you’re looking at this set of headphones, you probably primarily want the Bluetooth connectivity, but it’s worth noting that there is also an option to plug these directly into a standard AUX jack. Personally, I’m going to find that functionality most useful on flights, but you might also find this to be a useful option for any device that doesn’t have Bluetooth (or for which you just won’t want to mess with the Bluetooth).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I do like these! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL 770nc Headphones This review may get to be on the longer than the average so please bear with my to many words. JBL is all about sound, so when these arrived at my door step, open the package, check the contents and direct to the music. First test was with semi-lossless music files using the included audio cable.. Bounced around various recordings from different eras, different genres. Then onto specific recording I am quite familiar and know well. Non-electrified instruments sounded natural and correct. Then onto electric guitars and some with crazy amounts of distortion. To my biased ears, the sounds were ever so slightly mellowed. OK, now onto streaming music with cable attached, and a long way from lossless. Yeah I could tell a difference in the music but still more than acceptable. Switch to Bluetooth and maybe a little reduction in quality in some recordings and like no change in other recordings. Go figure! Did well on podcasts. Easy to tell who had the better recording system to make podcasts. As a side note the box says “PURE BASS”. This references a higher quality of bass not a louder bass. Reasonably well accomplished on these headphones. The Noise Canceling does work. And work well. I can be with my wife while she watches her TV show I don’t care for and I can listen to mu music that she does not care for. Should be interesting how well the noise cancel system works on airplane flights. Charge the phone. Battery life unknown. Hey it is type C charging but got to wonder about that very short charging cord. Hmmmmm. But I like the orange color. And speaking of cords, included is a flat 48” audio cable. 3.5mm X 2.5mm. Some of us do prefer a hard wire connection over blue tooth. In the hands the headphones had a nice feel of quality and reasonably light weight. Gently surprised! Now we get to my primary issue: Everything is BLACK ON BLACK. A different color for the various buttons would be nice. A subdued gray would be just fine. Just hinting. The JBL headphone app does alleviate a few of my gripes. And maybe increase the tactile feel so to find the correct button? Onto the secondary issues: The ear-cups do not breathe well. Sweaty ears and sweaty stripe across my bald head from the band. Ear-cups reasonably comfortable and headband cushioned nice. Part of me wishes the headphones were a true over the ear and not on-the-ear. And I thought the cup size a little off. Those with smaller ears a tight fitting over-the-ear unit and those with mid to larger ears an on-the-ear unit. I did not try to do any phone calls although the headphones are capable, simply not my style. And a button is involved. Back to one of my gripes. When taken as a complete package the quality of sound is the winner. No, the headphones are not of audiophile level. Maybe view them as an upper end listening device for private listening. I did give these a 5-star review. In reality it is more like a 4.63 star review. So I rounded up. Will I continue to listen with them? Yes. Will I use the headphones frequently? Yes. Will I recommend them to friends and relatives? Yes. Will I tolerate the shortcomings? Yes. Obviously the final verdict is “YES”.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Comfortable, fantastic sound [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decided to try these headphones as I've always been a bluetooth earbud kinda guy and I wanted some nice over the ear phones for flights/travel. Also wanted them for doing yardwork outside and having the noise cancelling while using power tools outside could come in real handy. Right out of the box and with a fresh charge, they paired instantly with my Android phone. No Bluetooth button to hit to put it into pairing mode etc. Downloaded the JBL headphone app and started in to discovering these babys. Being able to dial in the equalizer is always a plus. I'm not a fan of stock EQ settings. Classical was clear and the quiet parts had no noise or interference. Straight to classic rock, jazz, then podcasts. I have no complaints with the sound quality, it's excellent. I'm going to have to get used to using external phones like these, but that being said, they are very comfortable to wear. Not too much pressure on the ears, soft pads, lots of room to adjust. And as you can see from my picture, I have a HUGE head and they sit very comfortably on my massive pumpkin. Charges with a USB-C and using a 27w charger, they topped off in no time. Love the noise cancelling quality, and phone calls were clear and crisp. People couldn't tell I was using them during my call. Highly recommend these headphones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound and comfortable [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with the JBL 770nc headphones. I have used them daily for about a week. The sound quality is top notch. It is clear and crisp. The battery life is great. It does say 5 hours however I was using them for 3+ hours while working and they were at over 55% when I went to take them off. They are very comfortable for both myself and my husband to wear. They did not irritate either of us when wearing them for an extended period of time. The adaptive noise canceling is very handy since I often use these while mowing our large yard or doing work on our tractor. It does not block out all the sound but these are loud things I am operating and still want to hear of something is a miss. I am able to listen to my podcasts or audio books that I could not previously hear while mowing with some other brands. I have used them to talk on the phone with and no issues were reported from anyone I was talking to and they couldn’t even tell I was talking via the headphones. The buttons are laid out nicely that makes sense and not in a random sequence. Overall I am very happy with these Tune 770nc and would recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Good, the Loud, and the Not-So-Pretty [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Alright, let's ditch the boring tech jargon and get real about these JBL Tune 770NCs. Buckle up, because here comes the straight-up scoop from a fellow music lover: The Good Stuff: Battery life like a champ: These bad boys go on and on like a never-ending playlist. 50 hours with ANC? I dare you to listen to that many podcasts in a row! Plus, a quick 5-minute charge gives you 3 hours more juice, perfect for when you're caught short before heading out. Comfy like your favorite hoodie: Seriously, these hug your ears like a well-worn beanie. The padding is plush, the headband's adjustable, and even after hours of rocking out, your noggin won't feel like it's been in a vice. Peace out, noise pollution: The ANC does a solid job of silencing the outside world. Airplane rumble? Gone. Chatty coworkers? Vanished. You're in your own sonic sanctuary, baby. The Not-So-Good Stuff: Sound ain't no audiophile dream: Don't expect studio-quality precision here. The bass can get a bit boomy, and the overall sound isn't the crispiest. But hey, for everyday listening and pumping yourself up at the gym, they do the job just fine. Plastic fantastic (not in a good way): The build quality leans towards the "budget-friendly" side. Sure, they're not gonna shatter if you drop them, but they don't exactly scream "luxury." Sweat happens: These aren't exactly waterproof, so intense workouts might leave you with some soggy ear cups. Stick to light cardio and they'll be your gym buddy, but leave marathons for the truly sweatproof models. The Verdict: Look, the JBL Tune 770NCs aren't perfect, but they're a solid pair of headphones. They're comfy, have killer battery life, and do a decent job of silencing the world. If you're looking for a way to tune out the chaos and immerse yourself in your music, these are definitely worth checking out. Just don't expect mind-blowing audiophile sound or Olympic-level sweat resistance. Ultimately, the bass on these headphones is a double-edged sword. It's definitely their strong suit, but it might be a bit too much for some listeners. The key is to try them out yourself and see if they strike the right balance for you. If you crave that floor-shaking rumble, you'll be grinning from ear to ear. But if you prefer a more nuanced sound experience, you might want to keep searching.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Noise Canceling [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] High end noise canceling without the price tag.If looking for great cans without breaking the budget you found em.I used these at gym and totally drowned out everything and everyone. They felt snug and secure while hitting the heavy bag.The ear cushion is on the thick side and comfortable. The sound is clear especially vocals.Bass was a little too much for me. Using the Jbl app i tweaked it and put the EQ on Studio mode and made the sound perfect for my taste.Btw the app is super simple to use no issues there.Battery quick charges and i haven't got close to them dying and I'm using them alot. The matte black with shiny JBL emblem looks nice and elegant. The manual buttons are easy to use,no complicated finger swiping which i hate.Save your money and buy these if looking for great ANC and sound.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Headphones [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't think I was going to like these as much as I did but they sounded pretty sweet. I love how the low end is and how crisp the highs and other elements sounded with these. I did feel they were pretty tight at first but within minutes of listening to these it didn't bother me. I do like the multi connection feature a lot. The NC is just right and doesn't bother me like my airpods do. So that was a nice touch for sure. The sound overall I felt was nice and balanced. I do wish I could EQ the low end to my liking though but that's ok. I listened to dance and metal on these and both genres sounded pretty sweet. The build quality feels solid and not cheap at all. The charge holds up as well. This is my first of headphones like these and I'm satisfied.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cushy Over Ears Without the Frills [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used these over ears in coffee shops and around the house. They are quite comfortable to wear with an inch of padding providing a nice cushion over your ear. While it scores high in comfort and sound quality, don’t expect to stowe it away with more than just a thin cloth which provides no protection. Luckily it will wipe finger prints off your glasses quite nicely. The noise cancelling feature is sufficient for most use cases, but for vacuum type silence you may have to look elsewhere. The battery lasts forever and I’d say that the sound quality is what you’d expect to be from an industry leading pair. I also love how easy it is to modify EQ through the JBL app, it really helps to bring these headphones to life.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall general user experience [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Style- Simple no attraction Sounding- 40mm drivers delivering quality audio with an expansive soundstage and a subtle emphasis on bass, resulting in a pleasing musical experience. Great - NC, Long battery life of 70, Bluetooth 5.3, Google and alexa assistant with easy button. Bonus- The inclusion of app integration has increased its likability and added a fun element for users exploring different music genres. Some premium features with cheaper price estimated during the mid-range headphone. Foldalbe and it's light weight and also very portable. Not so great- No wear detection, wearing for an extended period can result in the ears becoming quite warm, Design. Hard plastic band and no foam support over the head.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Headphones I’ve Had [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable. Noise canceling is decent. It probably starts kicking in at 3/4’s volume, then outside noise starts being difficult to hear. In this setting, at max volume, it is impossible to hear outside noise. I had my television at a seven volume. The toggle buttons take awhile to get used to. These are probably the best headphones I’ve had from any company. It did take a reset and a 10-30 seconds to find my iPad and connect. It is faster to find and connect on an iPhone. No irritation with ears and hair when headset is on. Very soft and secure. Bass is pretty good on Drake songs from Honestly Nevermind and Justin Bieber’s Right Here.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great sound as always, just not my favorite. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality is good, as always. Good treble with punchy bass, especially for the price point. Ambient aware is incredibly useful with the "noise sensing" mics, but can be annoying when anything brushes against them like a hoodie. The ear pads seem smaller than some of their other headphones, sitting on my ears more than other ones that I wear. This may be a good thing for people with smaller ears and may just be my opinion. I love the headphones, they just aren't my favorite.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Over ear NC headphones w/ full sound & portability [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love the Tune 770NC over ear headphones. On paper, they checked all of my needs. I have a pair of favorite earbuds, and a pair of incredible wired headphones (gaming headset). I was looking for some portable, noise cancelling, over the ear headphones. If my head was (much) smaller, these might have worked.. but the comfort just wasn't there. I'll go through each attribute that stood out and describe who I think these would work well for and who may want to pass. (Spoiler: I'd give 4.5 stars for these as children's headphones) Sound: 4/5. The 770NCs sound great, but not amazing. Compared to my aforementioned buds (JBL Reflect Aero), and my headset (JBL Quantum One), these just can't quite match the range or clarity. Noise Cancellation: 4/5. Similar answer as above for noise cancelling. Great but not superb. My Quantums make you feel like you are in a sound-proofed recording studio. These are on-par with my NC buds. Portability: 4/5. These headphones are nice and lightweight, and fold up decently. A point off for not folding across the middle into a tidy little bundle. (Especially given that they aren't designed for lux comfort). Comfort: 2/5. Here's the main issue. They are just uncomfortable after more than an hour or two. I have a fairly big head, but still. The cups are pretty small, the padding on the headband is thin, and worst of all, they clamp your ears pretty tightly. For a very small person, like a child, maybe this rating would jump to a 4 or 5. Battery: 5/5. Simply incredible. I charged them before first use, and used them very very often over ten days... I was hoping to see how long I could go before needing to charge, but they are only at 70%!!! App / Connecting: 5/5. Just good. Beyond easy and intuitive to setup, connect and use. The app is nice, buttons and features rock. Seamless connection between multiple devices and no bluetooth dropouts. JBL just keeps getting better here. So all in all, I cannot recommend these for a full sized human. But for a very small adult or a child, these could be a great sounding, solid, portable set of headphones.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Still the Best [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL does it again. I have owned a wide variety of JBL equipment. Anywhere from ear-buds to bluetooth rechargeable head phones for portable. Enjoy bookshelf and studio monitors at home, nothing better.
