Fantastic earbuds!

Old vs New
After thinking only the right one charged, I used the short orange cord supplied and charged for 24 hrs. They are better than the 4 yr old JBL earbuds I have. The sound is comparable to full head phones. I wish I could wear them all the time.

Problem solved, love it.
At first I thought I had a defective product. It appears that only the right earbud charged. Then I charged them for 24 hrs with the short supplied orange cord and it worked. The sound is of the best quality, comparable to full head phones. I'm hoping these last longer than my 4 yr old JBL earbuds.

The JBL ear buds are fantastic,as well as all the items I have purchased in the past from PC Richard's and sons. Items purchased include appliances, t.v.,and sound system. Excellent product
These earbuds provide very clear and pure sound, and are loud enough as well.
Battery lasts much longer than I can listen to music continuously, and the case holds for 3 full recharges.
They fit firmly and comfortably, never had problems with them falling off while walking or cycling. They do not stick out of the ear too much and do not make me look funny.
Touch controls work nicely, after you get used with the exact place of the touch sensors.
Bluetooth connection is stable and without interruptions.
The tap combos are a bit of a weird solution for controls, but they do a fine job after you memorize them.
I miss a strap and a small hook for the case - I'd like to strap the case to my keychain or be able to carry it in my hand without having to be all-careful about not dropping it.
Some people say active noise canceling is not as good for a high class product like these earbuds, but I found it to be perfectly fine.
The ambient aware feature is a very good idea. Sometimes the noise canceling can make you miss important details of your surroundings, but the ambient aware feature makes this problem non-existent.
Hands free calls are fine, I haven't had any complaints about people not hearing me clearly.
The app is a bit annoying, popping up, asking to connect every time I start using the earbuds. This must be an automatic and background process, not bothering the user with unnecessary interactions after the initial setup. I'm thinking of uninstalling it.
A codec better than AAC would be very nice, aptX or LDAC for example, although few people would notice the difference in sound quality. Anyway, such good hardware can easily handle and benefit from codecs more advanced than SBC and AAC and it's a shame they are not supported.
Overall, these earbuds are excellent, the case and app need one or two finishing touches.
Don't forget to set the streaming app to high quality sound to fully enjoy your 100 wisely spent dollars.

How the receiving end hears the phone call.
I tried raycon, the background noise was unbearable to whoever I was talking to. I’ve had no complaints from JBL! Thank you! As a truck driver I have to be hands free. These are easy to use and the sound quality is fantastic!

Classy ear buds, with great sound quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these headphones for a month now, and I have enjoyed them a lot. They are easy to pair, and get picked up immediately by my iPhone and laptop, and thus I need not go to bluetooth settings again and again to connect them.
The build quality is good, and they work well during your workout session as well. They don't get slippery and fall from ears due to sweat.
The sound quality is excellent and noise cancellation is top class as well.

Great Product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had these headphones for about two months and I am loving them so far! They have definitely become my go-to headphone. I use them in place of over ear headphones more frequently than I expected. The sound quality is great, but I've been most impressed by the active noise cancellation. The amount of background noise these block out is significant and has been a pleasant surprise.
Battery life has been a big improvement over my previous earbuds. I can go several days, of listening to music two to four hours per day, without needing to charge them.
This headphones fit very comfortably in my ear, so I have no issue wearing them for longer stretches of time.
I haven't had a chance to try the microphone yet for phone calls, so I can't comment on that yet.
My only complaint is it's sometimes hard to tell which mode I have the heaphones in, when going from active noise cancellation to the other listening modes. So I've turned to the app to switch between modes. Speaking of which, the app is awesome! It is so easy to use. A big improvement over previous versions.

Comfortable, clear mids and highs and good bass
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these earbuds and how they fit. I haven't had any problem with them sliding out. Which is a common problem for me. Bass is great but not too much. The mic gives me some trouble though. It randomly drops sound as if I were speaking from the other side of the room. I can hear fine but the person I'm talking to on the phone can't really. The noise canceling is really nice. And the talk through as well as I find myself needing to switch between the two depending on my location. The quick start guide is a must in order to figure out what tap changes what setting. With the app you can look these up as well and even change the touch commands.

Everyday practical buds !

Similar to Live Pro+, but still amazing!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Case: I like the flat design of the live pro+ better because it's easier to grab the earbud out of. But the taller design of the 230NC doesn't bother me. Just a matter of preference. I love how with the app, you can see the % battery that's left for charge.
NC/ambient: Great noise cancelling! Some headphones you can hear that it's trying to do noise cancelling, but you can't hear that annoying static noise with these at all. With no NC or ambient on, it still blocks out a lot of sound. One that's less noticeable and one that's really noise cancels. The smart ambient is a must. Works just as expected.
Pairing: Iphone, alexa, and google assistant all paired quickly with no issues. The headphones also connected to the app with no issues. Firmware updates are also easy to do.
Touch haptics: Good balance. Not too sensitive and doesn't require too much to get a response.
Battery life: Haven't used it for 8 hours straight, but looking at the battery on the app, it seems to last a long time! Especially without NC.
Sound: Very similar to Live Pro+! Great bass, great range. I'd say this is a perfectly great headphone if you don't mind not having adaptive NC and autoplay.

Not to be outdone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Outstanding Audio with Pure Bass and ANC. Took these out of the box and into my ears and WOW! The fit is better then other buds on the market. Easy to setup with Fast Pair. The music sound quality is the best. Calls also are clear to hear and be heard. Love the quick 10 minute charge will get you 2 hours of audio listening.

Low cost alternative to airpods

Freedom of movement alongside superb JBL quality

The most amazing thing about these are the freedom they give you. Solid Earbuds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok JBL has done a GREAT job in adding features. First up is the pairing process, it's super fast and no effort to get them paired to my phone. I'm using these with a Google Pixel 6 and I literally didn't have to do anything to get them to pair. The process was automatic and they were ready to use for the first time in less than a minute. Also downloaded the JBL App to my phone which helped a ton. From the app you can adjust the sound using the EQ settings, but more importantly for me, being able to program the tap functions on both earbuds for whatever I want is a HUGE help. I love the customization. Sound quality is great, the charge case is compact and easy to use and store the buds. Only downside for me is that I found the range a little less than the set of Google Pixel Buds-A that I also own. Other than that I have no complaints. Music and podcasts sound loud, clear and full and the noise cancelling functions do actually work. If you want to block out the world you can, if you want to adjust for ambient sound you can do that too. Either way these are great earbuds and I'm very satisfied with them.

Excellent headphones
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these headphones. I think they are feature rich and reasonably priced! They are comfortable for in-ear headphones. I credit the larger shape of them for that. They rest well in the ear and don't hang on the part in the ear canal. They work with the JBL Headphones app, which allows for some customization of the functions of the touch sensors as well as EQ functions. They have ANC and also ambient aware (uses the microphones/speakers to play the ambient sounds in the headphones) I really like this, because if someone talks it is easier to hear them. They also work quite well for phone calls. I think these feel well made. They are not feather-light, but feel light when wearing due to the molded shape. I would definitely recommend these to my friends!

Sweet sounds, barely feel them in my ears

I love the sound, its really warm, nice controlled bass and twinkly highs. The App is useful for control as the buttons are a bit fiddly
