Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great easy and light pair of headphones [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The headphones have great bass for being so small and light. They are easy to store as they fold so that's helpful when they are no longer needed. The charge time is great as they last a while but also fast charging times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality sound and built durable!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love these headphones. JBL has the best audio products around. I got these headphones for my daughter so she can listen to her music when we’re on our way to her softball tournaments she absolutely loves them. They stay in her softball bag. They’re very well built because they roll around in her softball bag and still look brand new

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound for the size [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For these to be super lightweight, they're pretty good. I loved that I could wear them a good while without being uncomfortable at all. The best part is the JBL headphones app that allows you to go in and update them, change settings for sound modes, enable voice aware so you can hear around you, and more. I have a Samsung phone, and just powering them on, a pop-up appears for super easy setup. They have a pretty good wireless range also. Overall, the bass is pretty good, better than some other brands I've tried that seem to fit this category, vocals are clear and overall music quality is a great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome product, perfect fit. The product is really awesome, I really enjoy it. Whenever I run in the treadmill is awesome I feel the music all around me, also when I'm heading to work. It connected really easy to the phone. And noise canceling is good for it's price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good enough passive isolation to make buses, cars, and sidewalks feel more relaxed, without cutting you off from what’s happening around you. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adjusting the lens, JBL without the light rail chaos On buses or in ride shares, the Tune 530BT does a good job of taking the edge off mechanical noise and chatter without the fully isolating you from the world. In my experience, the lightly boosted bass helps mask the low hum of the pavement and traffics. I could listen to playlists or podcasts at a comfortable volume without cranking up to ear-destroying levels. Walking outside, I found them perfectly fine on casual use. Again they don’t block out everything, so you still have situational awareness- car passing, people talking, that kind of things. They hit a nice balance of having your own audio bubble, yet still tuned into the environment. Once you reach the office type of space with quiet conversations and occasionally loud laugh. This headphone felt more “relaxed” than they did in transit scenarios. Music feels full and easy to listen for a long period of time.the slightly layback treble makes me comfortable for all-day listening. The clamp tension on my head does show after full days wear however. I found I could wear for an hour or two in one setting with only mild adjustments breaks. Battery life is no issue for multi-day use with occasional charging. The headphone does get a bit warm during very long sessions and sounds isn’t hyper-detailed. But for a non-extreme noise commute and typical office environment, I found them genuinely enjoyable and very easy to live with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid, quality feel and sound. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice set of headphones: much lighter than most noise isolating phones, they offer deep bass and clarity. Much better sound than earbuds or OPEN ear type. Very smooth setup and Bluetooth connection. AAA+++

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top of the line!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oooh I LOVE my new JBL Tune 530BT headphones!! They are BEYOND comfortable, have OUTSTANDING sound, and their charge lasts longer than any I’ve had before!!! I can lay down wearing them, use them while mowing the lawn (bonus of protecting my ears while also listening to music), or go for a walk in 90° heat and they are pretty perfect for all circumstances ! They’re super easy to connect and adjustable for when my kiddo can’t find his and needs to borrow them. They are literally ideally suited for everyone in my family (but face it, I’m not giving them up!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value focused earphones [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these earphones. They are light weight but hold themselves in place nicely. Their soft ear pads allow for long term and fatigue free listening. These are perfect for tasks where active noise cancelling can be jarring. Such as weed eating, running/biking (in the wind), and other buffeting type noises. The first song I listen to when trying new speakers is Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd and these earphones sound great for their price point. The sound quality is excellent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sound, great battery!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely blown away by the battery life on these headphones. I charged them once weeks ago and they are still going strong. I also love that I can pair to multiple devices and seamlessly switch from my laptop to my phone. I get good bass and crisp vocals between movies and calls while staying connected and maintaining charge. My only complaint is that the oval ear pads run quite small and press directly onto the ears which causes some soreness after a couple hours of wearing them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sound without weighing you down [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tune 530BT are super comfortable and have astounding good sound. When I received them, I was surprised by how light they are. Honestly I was shocked that they sound as loud and full as they do. Sound quality is great whether it is music, podcasts, audio books and even phone calls, they perform flawlessly. Another great feature, is the fact that I can have multiple connections active. I have them set up with my phone and my computer. No issues listening to music and in just a few seconds I can be on my Zoom meeting without skipping a beat. They already replaced my office headset and people don’t come chitchat while I’m wearing them, so double bonus. One thing to note, these are not noise canceling headphones, but honestly I have not missed it. They do a great job at blocking unwanted sound in normal environments. I doubt they would do well in an airplane, but so far they’ve done well in office environments, parks and public areas. Overall super happy with them. Great sound without weighing you down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sound and soft on ears [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great sound quality while soft and comfortable. These were a bit larger for me, and could’ve used a bit smaller in sizing. I enjoyed easy connection and comparability with the app.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Crystal clear [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all of my JBL products…these headphones feel a little cheaply made though. The quality of the sound is amazing, and so is the noise cancelling. You can’t hear anything when you are using them, but you also can’t hear the music when it’s on the loudest setting outside of the person wearing them. That is very impressive for being on the cheaper side, and wanting privacy when using the headphones. They do fold slightly but not what I would have wanted. They paired super quick and you can download the app and customize everything about them. Overall, I would buy these for someone because I do think they are good quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Headphones with great sound [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tune 530BT are on-ear Bluetooth headphones that deliver great sound and are comfortable to wear. Since these are on-ear, rather than over the ear, they are a bit smaller. The ear pieces fold, making the headphones easy to throw into your purse, bag or suitcase. They are light weight and the padding across the band makes it easy to comfortably wear the headphones for extended periods. To get the sound profile that works best for you, you will need to download the JBL Headphones app to your phone and adjust the settings using the app. The first time I tried to make adjustments, the app found the headphones, but it froze or something. I had to close the app and start over, but after that I didn’t have any more problems using the app with the headphones. These headphones are affordable for many people. While they feel very sturdy, I found myself wondering how the covering on the ear pads will hold up over time. Also, there was nothing else in the box, other than the headphones and a quick start guide, so you will need your own charging cord and app. I took off a star because of my concern about the long-term wear and tear and because one person I was talking to on my cellphone said that I sounded like I was in a tunnel when we were talking. She said that I sounded far away, so I had to turn off the headphones to complete that call. I used the headphones for other calls with no problem, so I am not sure what happened on that one call. Overall, I’d recommend these for someone who was looking for an affordable, comfortable set of headphones with great sound (once you make your adjustments through the app). Also, the battery life of up to 76 hours is long compared to similar headsets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Portability , size , [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They are great for on the go because they fold up and save some space, Sound quality is good but not the best . Wish the over the ear was bigger in size because after a while it will hurt your ears . Good base when it lows hit. Over all they are not a bad set of headphones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sound quality is amazing! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sound quality is great as always with JBL! The only con I have is that the ear pads are a bit small! They are pretty comfortable though ever for a long time. They connected quickly and easily and the controls are easy to use on the headphones! They are also lightweight and easy to transport!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Kid size, decent audio [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall these were average. I don’t have a large head by any means, 7 3/8 hat size, and I found these very tight. My daughter found them to be much more Comfortable. The audio was decent enough, but long listening sessions were not comfortable enough to pursue often. I would use these for calls in noisy environments and other quicker tasks. Definitely not for long travel. Battery life is good, though they don’t turn off automatically. They remain connected persistently unless you manually turn them off.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Budget On Ear Headphones option [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tune 530BT is a very practically designed product, build for the everyday user of on ear headphones. With a solid mix of mids and lows when jamming to music, this is perfect for someone who wants to lock in while doing a long work task. Super easy to connect to my iPhone and bring to work, but long sessions did make my ears and head hurt a bit. Additionally, I didn’t get a chance to use at the gym but don’t seem like the most practical for a workout setting. Great budget On Ear Headphones option for everyday commute!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good if you’re on a tight budget, otherwise look into higher end products. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an alright set of on-ear headphones for the price, but there are some notable flaws. I’ll start with the positives: Very long battery life. I charged these once and never had to charge them again for almost two weeks of regular usage. The product boasts needing only 5 minutes of charging to get 5 hours of battery life. So, if you do find yourself in a dead battery situation, it seems like a very small amount of time on the charger would remedy your issue. Also, the sound is decent, which you come to expect from JBL. I’m always happy that they make sure to make their products as “full” and bass-y as possible at every price point. Taking phone calls on these was also fine, as both parties could hear each other clearly. Finally, they are highly portable and lightweight. So, maybe a perfect beater travel pair of headphones. Now onto the negatives: I have a head on the larger size, and these headphones are just plain uncomfortable after any prolonged use. They are too tight and the small ear cups press your ear into your head in a way that is actually somewhat painful. Also, while lightweight, they seem just kind of “cheap” when it comes to the materials. I wouldn’t be surprised if these start to show serious wear and tear much faster than other JBL headphones. I understand that this kind of thing comes with the price point, but that price point becomes less attractive if you’re going to need to replace them regularly. Finally, there isn’t any noise cancelling, and I found what I was listening to getting drowned out while using these in more active areas. Overall, if you are in need of a basic pair of over-ear headphones and aren’t expecting them to be your go-to for years to come, this is your pair. Bonus points if you have a smaller head, as the lack of comfort when using longer than an hour or so is a really notable negative. I can see this being a perfect purchase for the person who maybe needs a commuter pair to and from school or work and doesn’t want to have to worry about them being stolen, breaking, etc.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A Small but Welcome Upgrade to the Tune 520 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent a pair of the new JBL Tune 530 on-ear headphones to review, which gives me a chance to compare them to the Tyne 520, which I was able to review two years ago. Like the 520, they’re lightweight plastic with faux leather ear cups. They’re easy to wear, but the biggest change is the clamping force. It’s notably looser this time around. That’s going to be a welcome improvement for people who found the 520 uncomfortably tight, as I did. Build quality feels about the same as before: simple, functional, and good for the price. The controls are unchanged, and still live on the right ear cup, handling power, Bluetooth, volume, and playback. Everything works as expected. You still get USB-C charging, multipoint pairing, and app support through the JBL Headphones app, which remains one of the better features in this price range. in terms of sound, the 530 are very similar out of the box to the 520. Tuning is clean and fairly flat, which may not excite everyone at first. Once you spend some time in the app dialing things in, and you’re going to want to, these headphones respond very well. Battery life is an upgrade, which is really impressive given how strong it was on the 520. It’s even better here, with an advertised 76 hours between charging. I honestly didn’t go that long but after a few days using them, I still had plenty left in the tank. Bottom line: the JBL Tune 530 feel like a refinement rather than a big upgrade over their older sibling. The lighter clamping force makes them more comfortable for longer sessions, and the battery improvement is crazy! Otherwise, the experience is very similar – simple, lightweight, and flexible if you’re willing to tweak the sound.
