Excellent choice

Great 36" JennAir gas cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks Beautiful! I purchased the 36' JX3 (JGD3536GB) in black. The knobs are aligned well, and the control panel directions are easy to see and read. Overall, it's well designed and sturdy. Each burner has a different BTU/H rating. The copper flame spreader looks fantastic against the black. The grates are somewhat heavy, have a flat surface (no pot or pan rocking), and have rubber "feet" at the bottom of each to avoid scratches. The downdraft feature is adequate. I only wish it had a light indicator that would illuminate anytime the burners were in use. My 26-year-old JennAir had that feature and thought it was great for safety. Hope this lasts as long as my old one!

Great cooktop.

Love the down draft!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so pleased I purchased the Euro-Style Gas Downdraft range top. I love cooking with gas and I especially like the downdraft function. My previous range top had a back vent system which I didn't like and wasn't very efficient. Having five burners is great as I enjoy cooking and find myself using all the burners. I also appreciate the modern style of stainless steel which matches the other appliances in my kitchen. I had a Jenn Air stove in a previous house and was very pleased with the performance. I am delighted to once again be the owner of a Jenn Air appliance.

Powerful Downdraft, beautiful look
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this over a month ago and we have been using it everyday, the downdraft built in is very powerful and pulls everything to it and out of the kitchen. The finish is beautiful. Very happy we went with this model, you will be too!

The Best Downdraft Out There!

The focal point of the kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only had this cooktop for a few weeks now, but looks great. Replaced a well-used old JennAir that worked loyally for 30 years. I hope this latest model proves to be the same level of reliability. The installation was easy and straight-forward. It could be better with a more adaptable design to fit in existing countertop cutouts. For example, make a nice stainless steel support bezel that allow the customer of older homes or different cutout sizes to adapt.

Cook with flair…go with Jenn Air!

5 burners are fantastic for cheffing, no crowding on the cook top, downdraft exhaust, very quiet exhaust, beautiful flame…A real winner in my book.

Great cooktop!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago, after 2 months of research, 1 month of it being on order and then 1 month waiting for the gas company to install. I’ve never used gas before but I use cast iron cookware a lot and my wife was always after me when I used them on our glass cooktops. Fell in love with this cooktop first time I used it, big burner heats my big skillet really quick, smaller burners are good for the other pans and the downdraft effectively pulls all the odors and smoke down into the filter. We bought the ventless downdraft kit to go with the cooktop and it seems to be working great.
Highly recommended!

Glad We Bought It!

Great upgrade from the 20 year old Jenair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in October 23, burners light easily, even nicely adjustable heat, easy cleaning with simple liftable grates. Downdraft fan works well, not silent, but not overly noisy - basically what expected when venting smoke. Only had for one month, but performing well. very satisfied with our choice.

Lovely cooktop, great value

This JennAir model was a perfect fit for the cutout and the downdraft ducting setup. It was very easy to DIY install.

Wonderful features

It has a lot more features and my old one had what I like especially is the burner that you can melt chocolate. And it also has different burners for different uses high speed cooking and lowers heat cooking

Great cooktop!

This one is larger, downdraft works great and the variety of burner sizes is fantastic. It also has a very stylish appearance, which adds to the overall esthetic of the kitchen. I really like that the grates are recessed so they do not wobble around. I do wish that the knobs were backlit and the print showing the level the burner isnset as is too light to see. Overall, I love this cooktop!
