Love My Cooktop

Powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this along with vertical retractable downdraft vent along with wall oven for my kitchen renovation. It’s been only a little more than a week, don’t know how long it will last, but my previous experience with JennAir kitchen appliances has been great, The old wall oven and gas cooktop with build-in downdraft vent lasted over 30 years.

Good News / Bad News
The Jenn-Air is great. We had electric and purchased a new electric cooktop with a glass top. When our gov't suggested no more gas appliances we went out and got the gas Jenn-Air. Installation went smoothly, EXCEPT that we asked Frank, the boss on the installation job, to leave the existing cooktop and we discovered later that it was no longer on our front porch where we had them place it. We never use the front entry and keep it double dead-bolt locked as we park our cars around back and use the rear door to go in and out. We had promised the electric top to my wife's sister as it was in pristine condition. We are very disappointed as we have purchased many, many items from the same salesman ( who obviously had nothing to do with our missing cooktop ) at the same store in East Hanover, NJ.

Great features, easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a 4 burner jenn-air gas cooktop that was installed when our home was built 18 years ago. We also still have the original jenn-air microwave and double ovens. Its great quality and we hope this cooktop will last 18 years as well.

My only request would have available different color burner rings. They come as a kind of gold/brass color, stainless steel or black would be a great option as well.

Nice Cooktop!

Heats things up quickly, but with enough control to not burn delicate things. Simmers well and boils water quickly! We stay on top of keeping it clean, but it does seem to clean up well! Also like the lightup knobs!

Fantastic Appliance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this gas cooktop about 1 month ago and I think this is one of the best even heat cooktops I have owned. We needed a compact cooktop for our kitchen and one that was built with quality. This cooktop does the job. The only negative is that it has 5 burners and in a 36" cooktop it does become a little close with larger pots on the cooktop and room for added items.

Beautiful, efficient, low profile, easy to clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are about 2 months in on this purchase. It is absolutely beautiful. The gold metal about the burners is very pretty and the flat removable burner heads really nice. The handles are metal and add a nice elegance while being efficient. I love the blue light beneath them that tells you if you have left one on accidentally. The profile is one of the lowest for this type of cooktop - meaning that you have more space between the grates and the hood. Cleaning is super easy as everything lifts off. I recommend hand washing the grates. It is super easy and will retain the finish better than putting in a dishwasher. I've done both. The one thing that I would complain about is how easy it is to scratch the stainless steel around the handles . Mine became slightly scratched presumably when I wiped salt off of the area around the handles! This happened within 2 weeks of use. Disappointing. However, I would not trade this cooktop for any other on the market regardless of price. It feels sturdy, useful, easy to clean, elegant and oh so pretty. Love it!

Great appliances, Extremely satisfied

Visually And Functionally pleasing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop is both nice to look at and very functional. The large center burner is great for larger pots and the flush grates make moving pots around really easy. I haven't had to clean up any spills yet but the design seems like it will make that easy. I love the extra burner plate provided for melting and overall the flames are really easy to control. There is a lot of functionality packed into this 5 burner, 30 inch design, which is great for someone who cooks everyday. It looks great in our updated kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cook top does a good job. The igniters work quickly and the knobs are hefty, giving great tactile feedback. The stainless steel shows fingerprints and grease, but cleans up well. The brass burners seem to stain easily.
