Best Radiant Cooktop on the Market
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best and most powerful radiant cooktop on the market. We didn't want to invest in an induction cooktop, and happy we went with this model. We wanted a 12" burner in a 30" cooktop, which isn't easy to find. The amount of power it puts out is incredible compared to the Whirlpool it replaced.

I don't have to worry about breaking the ice up before scooping it, like I did on the last ice machine. The ice is not clear as advertised but it makes a lot of ice in a short amount of time. It's very quite. I used an external filter and it was much less expensive than the internal one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace a 15 year old whirlpool ice maker . Makes perfect 3/4 x 3/4 x1/2 inch cubes. Ice does not stick together. Mine has a gravity drain but can be equipped with pump. Also has spot for a filter but will work without one. You will want some filter in line and clean every 6-9 months and it will last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this cooktop! It has a beautiful black glass finish. The silver trim and knobs gives it a classy look. My only complaint is the knob placement. I would have preferred that the top and bottom knobs coincide with the burners on the right side and the 2 middle knobs coincide with the burners on the left. Also my previous JennAire cooktop came with a razor blade to use for cleaning it. Thank you.

My Third Whirlpool Icemaker—Guess I’m Sold

The installation instruction steps were out of sequence and had to stop to figure out what really needed to be done and undo what had been done in previous steps and redo it. I highly suggest Whirlpool take a look and rewrite the install instructions.
Hooking it up and putting it in place was straight forward. Pre steps to turning it on were clear.
The machine is quick. We had ice within 3 hours of turning it on and it was at capacity within 12 hours. Beautiful clear cubes.

Only thing I’m sad about is it’s extremely hard to polish after each use. I had my last stove top 20 years, retired it with not a mark or scratch on it. After the first use with this one, I could never get it mark free again.

Narrower and smaller then my previous one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Whirlpool 18-inch icemaker for almost 15 years and it was in the house when we bought it. It gave good service and nice ice so when it developed a leak that could not be fixed I decided to purchase another Whirlpool about 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately they don't make an 18-inch wide model anymore and had to purchase the 15-inch model. The down side is the smaller size required some trim work for my cabinets. The door and ice storage unit is much smaller than my previous one which does not allow me to just dip by large glasses in the bin and the ice in back tends to stick together. I do like the light and it seems to keep ice well . I will have to use it longer to see how well it performs, ease of cleaning etc.
