Year Round Perfect Grilling/ Smoking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally purchased the KJ Classic 2 with hope of being able to continue grilling during our Chicagoland winters… it has since relegated my gas grill to vegetables and hotdogs for the youngsters of the extended family. By far the best, most used product (2-4 times per week) I have ever purchased! Not only would I recommend a Kamado Joe, i sold one at my local store ( I was simply grabbing some more Big Block charcoal) due to my enthusiasm while talking with another customer who was interested, but unsure.

This grill does it ALL !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned a Webber Summit S-670 for close to 10 years a grilled several days weekly all year around. Once I purchased the Kamado Joe Big Joe , I did not want to use the Summit grill. After 11 months I gave my Webber Summit to my son. I smoke all kinds of foods , reverse sear steaks cook burgers etc. This Kamado style grill is the best I have seen in my life. I just retired after 31 years in the food service industry so I know food and cooking methods. Don't let life slip by without trying Kamado Joe !

Stepped up our family grill game

We got it to enhance some family favorites and get us outside more, but what we weren’t ready for is how this has challenged us all to learn and practice things outside our comfort zone. Whole chickens, ribs, even did a pizza night the kids. We love going outside 10x more and having so much fun. The way it holds its heat, maintains quality, and becomes a talking point at parties is just icing on the cake. More than a grill. 5 stars

Best overall smoker grill on the market
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned offset smokers, pellet grills, gas grills, charcoal grills, and cheaper kamados, but the Classic II is the best do-it-all smoker/grill I've owned. The charcoal efficiency, fire management, and temperature control are amazing. I spend as little time managing the cook as I did on my pellet grill with much better smoke flavor. The Classic II does a great job from burgers and steaks to low and slow briskets. I regret spending money on inferior products before buying the Kamado Joe.

Does Everything!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve wanted a Kamado Joe for a long time and I finally got one! I love it. It does everything and it’s fun to cook on. I’ve had it for just a few weeks now. I’ve made a standing rib roast, using the reverse sear method, a rotisserie chicken, pizzas on 2 different nights, and I slow cooked some country style ribs yesterday. I’m enjoying finding new things to cook on it.
My wife loves everything that comes off it. My kettle grill, pellet grill, and outdoor pizza oven are starting to collect dust. I’ll keep them but I don’t think they’ll get much use.

Great smoker with consistent temps

Just clean it once in a while and it maintains temperatures like no other grill. Incredibly efficient and maintains temps extremely well. Well worth the money. Quality is great. I honestly haven’t kept it covered and there are zero issues with it. No rusting.

Love the Big Joe II
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my second Kamado Joe grill. I love the size. It is perfect for grilling 64 wings in a rotisserie basket. I have also smoked a turkey and a ham at the same time in it. Excellent addition to my backyard cooking.

Big Joe II - all-in-one gamechanger

I use it for everything - grill, smoker, baking- and my friends and family get to enjoy the benefits! I love the versatility and consistent temperature no matter what I’m cooking. I heavily researched Kamado Joe vs BGE and found the thickness of the ceramic as well as the dome lift system to be the difference makers over BGE. I love the ease of cooking with charcoal and could not be happier with my purchase.

Temp Control Is Awesome!

I love to do pork shoulders, and my Kamado Joe makes it so easy to cook for hours at the consistent proper temperature. I also cook a fair amount of ribs and steaks, and my Kamado excels there too. I am a total newby but am picking up on techniques quickly. I have found that the kamado joe community is a very helpful bunch of folks that genuinely enjoy, and appreciate, cooking as an art form. I've only cooked about a dozen times on my kamado , but am thoroughly enjoying the process. Also after researching other brands, I decided that Kamado Joe is the biggest value. I like the divide and conquer grill system, the half moon deflector plates, and also that my grill came with the cart and side boards. I love my big Joe!

From the moment you open the lid, you can tell it’s built with quality and attention to detail. The ceramic construction holds heat incredibly well, making it just as reliable for low-and-slow smoking as it is for high-temperature searing.
What I love most is its versatility—you can cook anything on it: ribs, brisket, pizzas, burgers, even bread. The Divide & Conquer cooking system is a real game-changer, letting me set up multiple cooking zones at once, so I can smoke on one side and sear on the other.
