Rated 5 out of 5 by from [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this double oven for about a month and it is really cool. My wife is still trying to get used to it. I love the Wifi. This is really a nice oven

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Double Wall Oven! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent double oven overall! Many high end features such as WiFi operation, assisted cooking, cooking modes, touch screen, etc. The ovens look great and professional in our kitchen. This double oven is actually two separate ovens with separate electric wiring, two separate digital clocks. Set up of the WiFi features was relatively simple and uses Kitchenaid app that you can use remotely. The ovens look great is also easy to clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the simplicity [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this oven after our Original Double Oven from1999 failed . We have not been disappointed. My wife is easily intimidated with new technology and has had No problem whatsoever, figuring features out on this . We love it !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Double oven [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new oven. Very easy to operate and very pleased with results. I love that it came with its own sheet pans and has settings that are pre programmed. The fact that it has wi fi means I have even more control over what’s cooking than ever before.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great oven with great features [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, the first oven I received was defective. However, the appliance store did procure a second oven that functioned properly. I really like the wi fi features and the versatility of the oven. It has great features and provides excellent information regarding the cooking process. The broiler is very effective and the convection aspect is great. I just hope it has longevity.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Double Oven????? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy with the ovens. I would suggest that if you advertise it as a DOUBLE oven then it should be NOT two single ovens. I had to pay for 2 oven installations since it came in two pieces. Why don't you just joint the two into a true DOUBLE oven????

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Adequate and works. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, we like the ovens. I say "ovens" because these are two identical ovens, not connected in any way. Two control panels, two clocks, etc. Our biggest complaint is that they are small. Smaller than the oven they replace. The way the ovens install, there is 5 inches of wasted space that could have been "oven". Our large cookie sheets don't fit. They cook beautifully, we like the WiFi feature and find it handy. To date I have found no way to calibrate the oven temperature but so far that hasn't been needed. Our house is an older home, so 24" is what fits. Only 4 available ovens in that size. I'm astounded at the price of these things.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from KitchenAid 24” double wall oven [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased & preheat buzzes in about 5 minutes to say it’s preheated & it’s no where near preheated. Timer buzzer isn’t loud enough nor long enough to be of help. AND temp does not reach desired temp—-about 25 to 50 degrees lower than set at.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as expected [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Problems from the start with the touch screen which failed to work when normal use. There is always steam emanating from the ovens and dampens the screen . Once damp, it stops working. Got the screens replaced and now waiting to determine if that will resolve the problem . A second issue is that the oven in unevenly heating and the right side is hotter than the left.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unreliable temps, overly complicated, no suuport [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this double oven a month ago, and find it far too complicated. It was purchased to replace a very old and reliable KitchenAid double oven. I find the manual not very helpful, and when I tried to call KtichenAid for customer assistance (which the manual says you provide), I could not get past interminable voice mail prompts and an incredibly long hold with awful music. I cannot figure out how to get the oven to a temp above about 350 degrees: while the electronic readout says it has reached the desired temp (say 375 or 425), in fact my trusty oven thermometer says it is about 75 degrees lower than the readout. And if I'm doing something wrong (entirely possible), I can't figure out what it is. As an experienced cook and baker, I find this unacceptable. Do I have to use "convection broil" or "convection roast" simply to do a basic procedure like roasting a chicken? And why do you offer customer assistance if you don't provide it? I have always been pleased with KitchenAid products, but if I could, I'd return this double oven. Very unhappy with it and its supposed customer help.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed-doesn't heat properly I had this product installed in May 2023. It does not heat up to the designated temp. For example, the internal temp is only 275 when it says it's at the 350 set temp. It takes another 20-30 minutes to get to the designated temp. The oven is used infrequently. Disappointing that I have to pay for a service call and possibly parts, one month after the warranty expired.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Design and Quality First let me be clear: I have no issue with PC Richard. They have always treated us well and this purchase was no exception. Unfortunately, like us consumers, PC Richard is stuck having to accept whatever appliances the manufacturers decide to produce. Frankly, KitchenAid should be ashamed to sell this oven, especially at the price that was charged. We needed to replace our 28-year-old KitchenAid 24-inch double oven (Model # KEBS247DBL). Its control board failed and was no longer available. In order to avoid a costly kitchen remodel to fit a 30-inch double oven we decided to purchase this model. We were not able to see it in person; we had to rely on pictures from the internet. They hid this ovens flaws quite well. Our previous KEBS247DBL oven was a scaled down version of KitchenAid’s 30-inch model. That meant it did lack some features. Only the upper oven had convection cooking but both ovens were self-cleaning. And the oven was very robust with heavy gauge racks that when extended could support a 25-pound turkey in a roaster without any strain. And the doors were able to handle the load as well. We expected similar performance from this model. We were very disappointed. The racks are half the gauge of the older model and sag under even a modest load. The doors are flimsy, and I am certain that a large turkey in a roaster would break them. The sidewalls are of thinner metal construction leading to the impression of a very fragile cabinet. And where the older model had the support rails for the rack’s integral to the heavy gauge steel sidewalls this model KODC504PPS has thin gauge rails screwed into the thin sidewalls, making the racks even less sturdy. Any load on an extended rack causes the support rails to flex, making things even less stable and I believe quite dangerous as it would be easy to overload the rack and rail and dump a very hot dish onto the front of the person using the oven. To add to this, the interior volume of this model KODC504PPS is less than that of the older model KEBS247DBL. This means that the internal width is about ¾ inch less, which means that most our roasting pans will not fit in this oven. And I doubt it could fit a 25-pound turkey even if we had a pan that will fit. I think that size turkey would hit the upper heating element. We would be lucky to fit a 15-pound bird. Along with this, only the upper oven has a self-cleaning option whereas the older model self-cleaned both ovens. Another issue is that this so-called double oven really is two separate ovens. Yes, two independent ovens each with their own control panel. This means that the controls for the lower oven are located about 1 inch below the height of the kitchen counter. Due to this design in order to use the lower oven one must crouch down the access the panel. I’m sure this saved KitchenAid money, but makes using the lower oven very difficult, especially if you have bad knees due to arthritis. Seems that no thought was given to ease of use by less than limber consumers. Finally, KitchenAid charges almost as much for this oven as they do for the much better designed and more robust 30-inch models. It is not worth the price. It seems the goal is to drive consumers to the 30-inch models. We are reluctantly going to investigate modifying our kitchen to accept a 30-inch model oven. We did not want the expense just now, but the poor design of this oven has given us incentive to make the changes. Given that model KODC504PPS is both impractical and possibly dangerous, we have little choice. Our hope is to sell this model to a used appliance store and make back a small portion of the far too large purchase price. Do not buy this product. Rework your kitchen instead.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed this 2-section wall oven and it’s been nothing but trouble. The top oven can’t even connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and the bottom oven is worse—it constantly restarts the software. I’ve tried a full power-off reset, but it didn’t help at all. I opened a support ticket, but even after that, I haven’t been able to get any real help or resolution. For the price, I expected reliability and better customer service, but instead I’m stuck with a barely functional oven

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor replacement of a very good previous version. Separate control panel is inconvenient compared to previous version. Smaller than previous version, so some routine pans can no longer be used. Self-clean function is practically useless - won't clean anything from the inside door glass even at the highest setting. Wire shelf supports must be removed before cleaning. This is a poor replacement of a previously good product. I would not recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inoperative oven [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Why would any manufacture ship a product that doesn't work. First it was the fan making noise and then it fell off when the repair person opened the cover. Second the bake cycle temperature would not operate correctly. Preheat was lower than registered and the back temperature was lower than indicated. Service call indicated it was a printed circuit board which is ON BACKORDER. How could you run a manufacturing business and not know when you are getting parts. Service calls are weeks of waiting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful expensive equipment I find it hard to believe how bad this equipment is. The top oven did not work, to the point that we had to order pizza for Thanksgiving dinner, as the turkey simply never cooked. The lower oven took 2 hours to cook 1 lb of cut potatoes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Top oven will not work. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this almost a month ago and the top oven doesn’t work. Customer Service giving us the run around. Spent almost 4k for a oven that doesn't work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bottom oven not working! Top oven working [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had Appliance Dr come out to fix bottom oven, looked at oven said need electrician and left even though we told him that electrician already looked at oven and it is hooked up correctly! But he still left without doing anything! Called KitchenAid sending out another company 9-29

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Misleading specs We replaced excellent 25-year-old Kitchenaid double wall oven with this one, constrained by location between door and window so couldn't go to 27 or 30 inch size. None of your specs or information reveal this is 2 separate units, a real pain to install, and interior is only 18 inches wide!!! So much smaller than old 24-inch unit our roasting pan and cookie sheets won't fit inside! Will a Thanksgiving turkey fit? We would never have bought this if we had known these two things. Big disappointment.
