Outstanding Performance and Features

It's super quiet like my previous KitchenAid, and does a fantastic job of cleaning and drying the dishes as I expected it would. But the capacity is SO much greater! I don't know they did it, but it holds so much that I usually have to run it before it's completely full because I ran out of flatware or glasses. And the light? I don't think I can ever consider another dishwasher that doesn't light up when I open the door.

Excellent upgrade in dish cleaning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher does a great job getting the dishes clean and dry. Capacity is excellent, and I love the third rack for extra drinking glasses, something we always need more room for in our family with multiple kids. I got the LED light version, which is a nice to have perk but I don't really seem to notice it very often, so the model without it may be the better economical purchase. It's definitely quiet, quieter than our older dishwasher by a long shot. It doesn't intrude on our dinner table conversation which is just six feet away. We've had it six months and I haven't had to clean the filter once. I'd be happy to buy this kind of dishwasher again in the future.

It's a WIN!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is so sleek, it actually looks nice in my kitchen.I love the third rack in the top and we are getting so much use out of that and there is so much space we can never fill it to capacity. This model is also super quiet and the LED light a nice touch. So far ever load we have run comes out sparkling clean and dry.

Great Dishwasher!

Dishes always come out, clean and dry and never seems to leave any food residue like our old dishwasher did. It runs very quiet and we like having the LED light feature on the inside of the dishwasher as well

Love my new Kitchenaid!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovin my kitchenaid dishwasher! It seems like I can get twice as many dishes in as I could in my old one and the dishes come out so sparkly clean-and dry-even my plastics! I haven't tried all the cycles yet, but boy the ones I have do exactly what I would want! There's even a light inside the dishwasher and an option to only use the top two shelves for smaller loads! And I like that the door automatically opens when the cycle is over. I think I understood where I don't have to be cleaning the filter so often- self cleaning filter- YAY! I am truly enjoying my new dishwasher!

Gorgeous color and quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First the Black Ore colorway is gorgeous. This dishwasher is quiet, sometimes we think it is not running. Cleans far better than our previous dishwasher. Has ample space for various sized items. Standard dry works well and rarely have to pour water off anything that is on the top rack.

Great features and also so quiet!!! That
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new kitchenAid dishwasher. We got one with a few more features than what we originally set out to get, and we are so glad that we did. We find the third rack with 360 power jets cleans efficiently and everything comes out clean and holds more dishes per load. The cleaning has very good filtration and dishes come out spotless. The dryness is remarkable. We love that it is very quiet, the light that comes on as the door is opened, And opens after cleaning so there’s no guessing whether the dishes have been washed or . It's really been a great choice for us and we would recommend it to anyone Looking for a well-made efficient dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Through five decades of home ownership, this is the best dishwasher I've ever had. It cleans and dries very well. All those washer jets really do their job. It is quiet, but not quite as quiet as our last machine. I think that is only because of the self-cleaning filter. The top 3rd rack is genius, great idea and design. You can lay cups and glasses on their sides, dramatically increasing load capacity. I love having the bright lights inside, too.

Solid machine!

Amazing dishwasher! Cleans well, dries well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing dishwasher! We run pro dry (don't even need pro dry max) and don't even need to hand dry any of our plastic items like we used to. We also are so excited to not have to manually clean a filter screen like we did in our old one.

Exceeds expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first dishwasher with a third rack, and we love the extra depth compared to others on the market. Having extra space on top for glasses and cups makes it easy to find space to load in larger items, like pots and pans. No matter how full it is, everything comes out clean. It's also so quiet, I have to remind the family it's running so they don't accidentally open it! We like to use the ProMax Dry feature with the door open function and there's rarely any dampness. I also love that the filter takes care of itself. We switched from a drawer-style dishwasher, so there was a learning curve, but it's been well worth it!

Excellent Dishwasher

It cleans dishes very well, even after a full load, and the filtration system works great. The dishes come out clean, fresh, and mostly dry. It also runs quietly, which is perfect for our kitchen. So quiet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher replaced one that was in the apartment that I had recently purchased. The existing dishwasher was a new appliance (less than a year old), but we soon found it to be extremely noisy and lacking in many features that we desired. I studied many reviews on line and after comparing the KitchenAid to others in the same price range,, decided to make the purchase. What a geat decision! This dishwasher is so quiet that we weren’t sure that it was operating. In a small apartment with an open floor plan, we now can carry on a conversation or watch TV without having to elevate our voices. Additionally, the third rack and LED lighting give this machine high end features with a reasonable price So glad I made this choice!

Excellent Design and Efficiency

Still The Best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I remember my grandmother's built-in KitchenAid (By Hobart) Dishwasher from my childhood in the 1950s--an electro-mechanical wonder of its day. Small wonder that my parents bought a KitchenAid for our home in the 1960s. Their front-loading, slide out racks made loading and unloading simple and straight forward compared to portable units that had to be attached to the kitchen sink faucets and were top-loading and unloading--a real inconvenience.
Choosing KitchenAid was a no-brainer and with more features than ever! I love the third rack for small items and the very versatile bottom and center racks that allow for any number of items of various sizes and shapes that fit securely without rattling around in the cycles. Oh! And quiet!!! I checked three times on the first run-through to be sure it was even on! The lighted displays and digital count-down to finish are a super-nice feature that lets me know NOT to open the door prematurely and perhaps risk getting an unexpected shower. And, finally, I love when, at the end of the dry cycle, the door opens to 1. Let me know the cycle has finished, and 2. to let the glassware, silverware and dishes cool down.
Well, KitchenAid, you've done it again and, after well more than half a century, you're still the best!

I’m Impressed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t expecting to like the third rack. The ones I seen in the past didn’t hold much, but this third rack holds my small containers and frees up the second rack. The lack of a low rinse aid light is made up with an easier to fill rinse aid dispenser. My deep cups and glasses get cleaned which has been an issue with other dishwashers. I’ve been impressed and pleased with the performance so far.

Love all the cool features

Fits so much
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher was an upgrade from an older one when we bought our townhouse. I wanted it because of the bigger third rack and the spacing and I’m so glad I made that choice, it fits so much more than I had thought possible. I cook a lot for a fam of 3 so not so many plates as multiple cooking items and utensils and this works well for that. The one thing I have found is any water puddles on glassware or mugs or anything will remain even with the pro dry cycle chosen. It’s very quiet too.
