More Power than my older model & More features

Great features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best microwave I have had in years. The short cuts for 30 seconds, 1, 2, and 3 minutes make it so fast and easy to use. The turntable is on the small side but it works great for our family and cleaning it is very easy. Overall very happy with this microwave.

Great Microwave!

Enhances Kitchen And Performs Well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid Microwave Hood Combination with Auto Functions was the kitchen upgrade I absolutely needed in my life. I’m obsessed with how sleek and modern it looks and it elevates my kitchen which needs/could use some love. Not only does it enhance the space but it performs well too. It does a good job at heating food evenly and I like that the intuitive auto functions take the guess work out of cooking. It has powerful ventilation which my previous microwave did not have and it is also much quieter and less annoying than my old one. I am so happy with my new KitchenAid Microwave! If you are in the market for an appliance that is stylish and works great this is the one you should definitely consider.

The design is fantastic and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it. The microwave itself is very quiet and the fan isn’t that loud at all. The inside is very easy to clean and the outside is mainly glass so wiping clean is a breeze.

I love how sleek it looks and the no handle makes it look super modern. It’s smudge proof (thank goodness) and the LED light below illuminates the stove. The vent fan controls all unwanted smoke and cooking smells. I’d buy a thousand times!

Beautiful, sleek microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is beautiful. We’re in the middle of renovating our kitchen and this will tie everything in so perfectly. It’s sleek, modern design is gorgeous. I love that it doesn’t have a large bulky handle sticking out and that it doesn’t have too much stainless around it. The light that comes with it underneath gives off cold lighting (fixable with a new light bulb) but I appreciate that it has the option to dim. I love the variety of quick push buttons to heat your food to the perfect temperature. Also love the vented hood addition. KitchenAid products are beautiful!

Reliable and beautiful microwave , easy to clean

The hood has the best air circulation and effective air flow to catch the smells from the cooking top . Super quiet and safe in use .

Good microwave

It is clean and fits the spot perfectly. It operates well. Like all new appliances, it has taken a little to get used to it, and I feel it is a very nice appliance.

Good price but Loud.
I bought this to replace a microwave that was 17 years old. It was the exact same size as my old one so it was a perfect fit (thanks ChatGPT!). It is a nice microwave but it is LOUD. It isn't that much of an issue since it is usually only used for 1 or 2 minutes at a time. Other than the noise, it is fine. I was limited in my choices as I needed exact sizing so I am happy it fits so well and matches my other kitchenAid appliances. Also my husband and son were able to install it easily so we saved on installation costs and PC Richard shipped for free.

Seems great so far!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good! We've been using the microwave for less than a month but the functions I've used so far seem to be working well. I'm happy with the "soften" feature, as my old microwave used to melt the butter so unevenly instead of soften it. This seems to do well with those types of settings.
If I could change anything, it would be the sensitivity of the buttons. I feel like I really have to mash them to have the sensors pick up on the "press".

Awful Sensor results, otherwise nice and competent
Essentially the KMMS120RPS without the convenient but hazardous metal external handle that became hot when the rear right burner was used below it. The Good.. Large size, Turntable can be turned off, rack can be utiized for keep warm (but not cooking). Excellent defrost which uses a timer, not a sensor. Excellent cooking evenness. Reasonably Quiet. The Bad: Microwave's inner surface is soft and easily scratched (a yam scratched mine!). Sensor is extremely poor with baked potatoes, severely undercooking when two or more are cooked and severely overcooking when one is being cooked to the point that it actually ignited! Turntable cant be turned off when Keep Warm feature is used, the time when it logically might be used if multiple plates need to be kept warm together. Personally, since the sensor is so useless, I'd skip paying the extra $$ for this sensor equipped premium branded model and choose instead a non sensor equipped model from Kitchenaid's parent company's over the range line.
