[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a 12 year old Kitchenaid 4-element Sensor Induction Cooktop that still worked like new but was broken when a drinking glass fell on it. This new cooktop fit into my countertop, was easy to wire in, and works great!

Love it so far!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I love my new cooktop. It’s heats up fast. I am still learning on how hot each temperature setting is and that’s a learning curve. You cannot sit anything on top of the glass where the controls are or you will get a beeping sound. Took me a couple times to figure out where and why it was alarming. Mostly I was setting a pan on it and it beeped, but once I sat a damp kitchen towel on it and it alarmed as well. So I try and be aware to not set anything on that area of the cooktop which is a little annoying but I get why. A couple of times after turning on a second burner, the first burner that was already on and being used turned off. It beeps when this happens so you can quickly see that it’s turned off. Not sure what’s happening there. Overall I love it though. It’s beautiful and sleek and looks so much better than a slide in range.

Smooth & Efficient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this about a month ago. The best feature for us is the capacitive controls that make cleanup orders of magnitude easier. The ability to automatically set zones for simmer or boil or warm is most convenient.

Great Cooktop

The World maybe round...But my Cooktop is Flat!

No HOT handles, can cook food and not baby sit it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second Kitchen Aid induction cooktop, our new home didn’t have the option of anything but gas. That was the most horrible thing that my wife and I had ever tried to cook on, we kept it for about 10 months then installed the Kitchen Aid cooktop.
We have really enjoyed it and our zkitchen Aid refrigerator

Best stove I've ever used!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy to cook on my new induction stove. So far, I've made cherry jam, vegetables, meats & omelets. Everything has turned out beautifully and it's easy and intuitive to use. I'm used to an electric cooktop and it's not very different except for the consistency of heat and true temperatures. No boil overs, burning or other untoward issues. It's a snap to clean up as well. Couldn't be more pleased.

The licking feature is awesome as it provides additional counter space when not in use. Just put a placemat over and you have additional space. Easy to clean.

Automatic Settings are great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop replaced my old KitchenAid cooktop that I bought in 2013. I really like the new automatic settings! They work great! I like having five elements on the new cooktop, the old one only had four. I like the larger one being in the middle of the cooktop. I liked a couple of things on the old cooktop better. On the older version, the digital display was brighter and there was a Power Off button for the entire cooktop. The new cooktop works great, just like the old version.

I wish we had purchased it a long time ago
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered our 30inch 5 element induction cooktop over a year ago. It took a year to get it delivered thanks to limited parts to build it. Once we mastered how to cook things on it we love it. The pots heat up within seconds. so you can fix your meals quicker than a regular cooktop. The safety features are great. You can't forget to turn off the burner(s) . You don't have to worry that a child getting burnt from a hot element/burner. I can't say enough about all the positive things about this cooktop. Our grandson even loves fixing things on it. He said that he wants one his self!

Works as promised.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The features work great. The boil, simmer, melt, and all features are very nice. I can use the middle burner and the side burners at the same time. I can tell when my pan is on correctly because I can feel the energy moving between the pan and the burner. It is very easy to clean, even down to the fingerprints. No knobs to clean.

Induction cooktop with some frustrations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a home that didn't come with gas so I was stuck with a radiant cooktop. I knew one of the first things I would do was replace it with an induction cooktop. I did that, had it installed and like the way it cooks. The only negative I can see right now is that the indicator lights which let you know it is on or what setting you have are not as brite as the older kitchen aid cooktop it replaced. I initially thought it was the direct light from the exhaust fan duct but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I reduced the output from 50w to 30w bulbs. Helped a little. This is the only issue I have with it otherwise, great way of cooking if your stuck with radiant cooking and want a better alternative.

Bring Back Knobs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and love the technology. The controls need to be modified. I know we live in a world of touch screen, but these touch buttons coupled with the beautiful glass allow fingerprints to be left at every push, especially since you have to tap multiple times to raise the controls up or down. Locking the panel requires you to keep your finger on at least 3-5 seconds. So there's a lot of finger grease on the stove. This isn't a phone where your hands are relatively clean while using. You're cooking and many times have spooge all over your hands. Maybe I'm obsessive but I'm constantly wiping the fingerprints off the glass. Good old fashioned knobs or other controls not embedded in the glass would make this a superstar appliance.

Like induction.

The last one started to fail and the cooktop and parts were not longer available. The new cooktop has 5 burners instead of 4. This makes it difficult to use several pans at the same time. It has 1 large burner, 2 small, and 2 slightly larger burners. I much preferred the 4 burners - 1 large, 2 medium, and 1 small. But I do like induction.

So nice to have induction again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was the only induction I could fine with the five burners. I would have preferred to have a large burner in the front , at least one. It seems strange that both of them are on the back side of the cooktop. Other than that, I love it.
OH darn it all, they know have one with a double use side for a grill and the other side has a large one in front and small one in the back and still the big pot in the middle. It’s exactly what I couldn’t find.
