Great downdraft dual fuel slide-in range!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great and contemporary replacement to our nearly 30-year-old JennAir that finally needed an update. Had to have a downdraft and thankfully they are still made and made very well by Whirlpool Corp. We looked at a similar JennAir model but preferred the burner (gas) control knobs [location] on the KitchenAid

Amazing style and features!

I love all of the features

Good stove no operators manual
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range and had it installed about a month ago. Very pleased with my purchase. One negative feature is I did not get an operators manual with this appliance and could not get anyone to answer the phone at the parts department to ask for one.

Best Downdraft Range on the Market.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The main selling point for me on this is it being a downdraft. I have an open concept kitchen and don't have an overhead fan (or want one), so having a down draft was critical. The range is sleek and modern looking. The top grills come apart easily for cleaning. The only two complaints I have thus far are: no rapid reheat and it peaks out at 500 degrees. Other than that, I love it.

Very satisfied

The range replaces a Jenn Air dual heat unit that served us well for 23 years. Thank you for designing an excellent appliance.

Great appliance but be aware of installation needs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this stove/oven installed last month and it works and looks great. Very happy with the appliance so far. However as some other reviews say just be aware that the installation process is more involved than with others that are not the downdraft style. I replaced a Jenn Air range that was roughly 20-25 years old and had to hire a contractor, electrician and plumber as all connections needed to be updated.

So far great range we love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this duel fuel range installed approximately one month ago, that being said time will tell how well this product performs however so far so good, we love it the gas stove top burners work well, the downdraft vent system does pull the flame a bit towards the center but it’s not an issue as the stove top has heavy full cooking grates from side to side so just slide the pot or pan over a tiny bit, the electric oven is excellent also heats fast and evenly, love the easy slide shelf.

Great stove
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this stove a year ago to replace the Jenn-Air that was over 30 years old. We did not want to lose over the stove counter space so we stayed with the downdraft--this downdraft works amazingly well. I love the fact that you can actually see what you are cooking when you turn the oven light on! I love the griddle feature! I love the easy glide rack--only complaint is there is only 1 easy glide rack wish it was all 3.
The stove does not heat up the entire home which is great. Easy to clean. The oven cooks evenly. Highly recommend

Great product, except for loud fan!

My knew kitchen aid
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago love it but hooking the down draft up was a lot of work because they changed the setup from 10 years ago..added more expense..wanted gas down draft for oven also..was not available anymore! How things change. My first one was Jen air downdraft, my second Jen air one had downdraft, my third and fourth Jen air had downdraft, but it’s not available anymore! Why? Not even for kitchen aid! Not use to the 18 min warm up for oven either!

Very nice range

This is a great range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this range! I had a Jenn Aire downdraft for years, and this is a wonderful upgrade. It is taking me a while to learn how to use it. It has more choices than I am used to like convection bake or convection roast? I have been drying tomatoes, so much faster than the regular air dryer we used outside. My only complaint is that the low setting, like to simmer soup, or maybe herbs in water, is too hot, on any of the burners. I had to buy a widget to tamp that down.

Great downdraft dual fuel range!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very pleased with my new Kitchen Maine dual fuel downdraft slide in range. I looked long and hard for a replacement of my old range, and this was my choice. I have used the grilling feature, and I especially enjoy the delay start and cook features for the oven. The light is more than adequate, and the convection choice is the one I usually choose.

Vast improvement on the old JennAir
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range replaced a 17 year old JennAir. The JennAir burners were basically either on or off. The front burners were rated at 8,000 BTU and the rear burners 8,500, so boiling water was slow and cooking in a wok impossible. Now we can have a raging flame when needed, and the low setting on the KitchenAid is gentler than the lowest sustainable flame on the old JennAir, even with the downdraft on. The downdraft seems at least as effective as it was on the JennAir.
The self-clean oven routine is a little weird (pour water in the bottom and the oven heats up to a moderate temperature) but it seems to work well so far.
We do a lot of convection baking and the automatic adjustment for convection throws a monkey wrench into the menu, but I can't complain too much about having to tap a couple of extra times to get it started.

Exactly what I wanted.

Great range/stove
