So far so good!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range is replacing a 36 year old Jenn air. I've had it a month. So far so good. I was advised not to use the self cleaning function by the salesman, so I'm a little worried about that. He said that is when any new range has problems since they are so electronic these days. I guess I'll adjust.

Solid attractive range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this range because my 33 year old GE downdraft needed a new board and they no longer make parts for it. The wait for the stove to arrive was about 4 months. It is a nice range, easy to use and the downdraft is strong enough and appears to be easy to clean. The oven works well and has 3 shelves one pull out and 2 adjustable.

Great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downdraft oven was purchased to replace a Jenn Air downdraft oven. The new one works fantastic and has a glass top rather than coil burners. The burners heat up fast and we enjoy cooking on them. Overall, pleased with this purchase.

Functional and beautiful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving my new range.Easier to use than anticipated. Haven't explored all the features yet. It replaced a still somewhat functioning 41 year old downdraft Jenn-air stove, which I was loath to give up but worried with the scarcity of downdraft stoves, it might not be available in the future. Glad I did!

AN EXCELLENT UPGRADE!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it became time to retire our 40 plus year old downdraft range, we found this Kitchen Aid Downdraft Slide-In Range and immediately settled on this one. The controls move smoothly. The cooktop heats up quickly. The oven cooks evenly. The unit doesn’t heat up the room like the old one did. We have just had it about a month (still have to take the blue protective wrap off of the bottom panel-and will be updating the entire kitchen soon) but look forward to many years of use!

An Obvious Choice

We were concerned with the lack of replacement choices, but now feel there was nothing to worry about. Our new KitchenAid installed easily, cooks effectively and looks great!

Great Replacement Downdraft!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like many of the previous reviews I was in search of a replacement for my JenAir downdraft oven. With only a few options I opted for the KitchenAid. I just remodeled and bought all new KitchenAid products to replace other brands that I enjoyed. I have to say I am completely happy with all of them!!! This downdraft oven works wonderfully and it is very attractive. I was worried about oven top scratching like some bad reviews said but have had no trouble and take care of it just like my last glass top. The stainless steal leaves very few water spots or fingerprints. I wish KitchenAid did give more details on how to use some of the functions on the oven. Installation was a concern so I made sure I bought the appliance from a store that had experience with downdraft installation. If you try to buy from some stores they will not install it. It does have vent in the back that sticks up if you install in an island like I did. My last oven was flatter but have grown used to it and the edges around the stove. My last glass top was flush over the counters. I am so happy I chose this oven and the other appliances that matches.

No more burnt fingers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our house had an old Jennaire range that was built in the kitchen island so it was a downward draft unit. Stone counter top so we had to have a specific size. I could not be happier. Not only did it fit but looks beautiful with my counter top. It is easy to use and cleanup is a breeze. Loving that I can bake or use the convection oven features without having two separate appliances. The slide out racks are a blessing… no more burnt fingers.

nice stove
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice stove with some nice features. The front burner has two sizes which is very cool. The bottom rack in oven has a nice slide feature which i can see will come in handy at thanksgiving. The only thing negative I have found is that oven takes forever to heat to desired temp but besides that i am very happy.

Finally a vent which actually works
I have had mine for 5 years in vacation home. Love it! The minute we turn on downdraft fan, we smell the cooking fragrances outside, not throughout house as with hood vents. We can see steam and grease drawn directly down and out. It is easy to regularly put grease screen in top rack dishwasher, so always clean. The open kitchen view is actually open, which was original reason for purchase. The fact that it works so well is bonus.

Excellent Product

The range is easy to use, and cooking time is greatly reduced with this range. The range appearance in our kitchen area is beautiful. The downdraft portion of the range appears more powerful than Jenn Air. Only good things to say about this product.

Lots of great oven features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new range even though it was expensive. The downdraft fan really pulls the steam while boiling. I was pleasantly surprised it has a proofing cycle for bread rising. A bonus is having 3 oven racks with one having a special pull out. Love the rack with steaming pans. All in all I’m glad I purchased this beauty.
