Two years ago I thought I had bought a really good range, Jenn-Air, as it turned out many problems that kept coming back, even after it was serviced. I was so completely satisfied with my Kitchenaid dishwasher and microwave that I decided to change from electric range to gas and bought a Kitchenaid gas range. Easier to clean range top and oven it is delight.

The best I have found

Still not sold on stainless steel's durability (fingerprints and easily marred) but it is a wonderful range this far. (I purchased a stove top protector). The oven has a great slide in/out rack feature that is super helpful. The oven window is large and viewing food that is cooking is very clear. Overall this is a great purchase and I would go with Kitchen Aid again. Haven't used all the bells and whistles but I can't imagine I will be disappointed.

Love the oven window and light And the warmer drawer. Only downfall is how easy it is to engage the stove top burners by just leaning against the front of the oven. It's a great overall!

The gas cooktop is more than I had hoped for-6-8 pieces of brioche bread French toast will fit on the griddle. And when the electric oven heats up to 375°, it really is 375! Easy to clean, intuitive to operate (although, as with every major appliance, I would encourage skimming through the owner's manual!).

Perfect control of the burners (yes they are gas but they are not used for long periods of time). The electric oven saves emissions while it runs in some cases for hours. It’s too new for us to comment on the self cleaning oven or the lower heating drawer.

The cost of a vacation but I get to enjoy it daily
I have been reviewing and studying this range since last November and I purchased about 3 months ago and received this range a month ago. I enjoy cooking and baking. I previously had a true convection oven but a flat burner top from a different manufacture. I find that the electric top limited my control over cooking. I added a gas line to have the gas top and true electric convection. My previous oven was large it was a double oven with one large door and this oven may be a bit larger. In my previous unit I had to add a pan of water taking up a rack to keep my items from drying out. Kitchenaid has created a spot for the water. I have baked bread, made fish, streaks and many other items in the oven. I also purchased a pretty cool microwave that I have been having some fun with too. The range top boils water much quicker than the flat burner stove I had previously and when I turn down the heat I do not have the boil over that I did with the electric range. I love the control and using this range makes me happy plus it looks amazing too! I am so happy I waited to get what I wanted.

My only drawback is I would like a smaller burner in front instead of the two large ones. The one on the right back would be better in front. Never have two things cooking that need large burners at same time. Would be easier to check cooking veggies,rice or potatoes iff that burner were in front.Love the convection oven.

Love, Love , Love it

As a culinary professional, I always want the cooktop to be gas, as I can adjust the heat intensities instantly. However, I prefer the stability of electric heat for the oven. This range offers the best of both worlds. I couldn't be happy with this new range. It performs well and is easy to clean and maintain.
