It fits perfectly in the space, love the self closing door and the adjustable single shelving. And it is so quiet, I was worried it wasn't "on". One complaint - The directions on the web site and the owner's manual to install the air filter are completely inadequate. It took me a long time to find the opening (under the temperature control center) and the IS NO DOOR or marking to direct its placement. You need to be more clear and do a video for this particular model!!!!

I love the braided door handles, which are very easy to keep clean. The bins are self-closing, the refrigerator door can stay partially "open" without being totally "open", the interior lights do not light up until after the door is open about 12" (which is a great feature), the interior color of the refrigerator has received plenty of compliments and the freezer spacing is much better (with a separate ice tray bin). Overall, the product is a welcome addition to my kitchen.

It replaced a 16 yr old GE Monogram which had given us nothing but trouble for a long time. I quizzed various repairmen and they all recommend KitchenAid. I went with the single door bottom freezer and so far I am so happy. There is so much more space than our old 36 inch side by side, the interior is beautiful and well thought out and, aside from hearing the ice maker occasionally, it is extremely quiet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice ... but ice maker driving me crazy Have had this refrigerator for about 3 years now. Overall we like it. It was considerably less expensive than a SubZero or Viking but had the features & look we were looking for. Not crazy about the lighting as it seems to shut off too soon when closing the door; I don't know if there is an adjustment for this ...but we can live with it. The issue with the ice maker is the swing arm and plastic flapper that raises and lowers with the wire arm. When the unit fills with ice, it ends up knocking off the plastic piece. It happens probably 2x/month. I don't know if there is a fix for this but it is a hassle to reinstall. The ice drawer itself somewhat cumbersome to remove & reinstall also. See photo....

I would say that it seems very modern and well made. We would like to see a simple on off switch for ice maker. We like the split shelving giving the option to customize the space well. Perhaps a simple suggestion would be helpful for initial set-up.

Only drawbacks are the drawers in the fridge section - they feel kind of cheap and flimsy for the price of this appliance. Also, the freezer is really cramped - most of the space is allocated to the fridge.

A replacement was necessary because the interior of the box isn’t square. The replacement was originally quoted as coming in two weeks. It is now February 28, 2021 and there is no replacement refrigerator in sight. Additionally, the two top shelf lights are already burned out, and the filter needs to be changed. Lastly, the ice cubes are generic, awful half moons that get stuck on the side of a glass - I expect a lot more from a refrigerator in this price range.

It was installed and the unit was damage before arrival. Does not fit well, bottom door is bent on the frame and there is frosting due to leakage in the box. Looks horrible; tech has come out and reported what I just have said. To date after 5 months no replacement very little follow up. All of our kitchen was Kitchen Aid appliances at installation. I won't make that mistake again.

All told, we were without a working fridge for about 3 weeks. Ask me in a couple years if this one is any good. I understand the occasional lemon but your delay in replacing it was unforgivable.
