I like it much better than gas. I recommend it
I bought my 36 in induction cooktop 10 years ago. I simply love it. It still looks new. Very easy to clean . It boils a big pot of water in 2 minutes. Frying fish easy cleaning and everything else.

Fantastic!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very pleased with this newer version of this cooktop. We’ve moved a bit in the last 10 years, so this is the 3rd kitchen I’ve remodeled and installed the Kitchenaid Induction cooktop. The boil and simmer functions work perfectly! I just wish I knew how to go from boil to simmer without turning the cooktop off. And, of course, the cleaning is a breeze!

Happy with the change
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my gas stove cooktop with this electric induction recently, and honestly I had some hesitations at first because I’ve always cooked with a gas cooktop. It did take a little getting used to but I’m happy with this stovetop, and it also gives me peace of mind that it’s better for my health as well. Overall happy with the switch.

It took a little time to figure it out but once I did it is a great way to cook and I love it. So long as you have the right kind of pans it is quick, efficient and super easy. I don't know why I waited so long.Great cooktop, great manufacturer. Lots of great features, plenty of room for everything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a gas stove user and this induction cooktop is a game changer! You will need stainless steel pots and pans to enjoy but it’s worth it. Food cooks evenly, no more dead zones in the pans. It heats up fast. I like the 5 minute heat boost, especially for boiling water. It cools down fast too so I can clean without lag time. The auto presets helps to set the exact temperatures you need to melt, simmer or boil. It look wonderful also! Sleek, smooth and flush with my counter. Highly recommend it! So many features. Looks good and functional too!

Makes cooking fun and easy

2. Cleaning it was so easy. I didn’t need to scrub anything off of it. Wiping it down made it very clean.
3. The food cooked surprisingly quickly. And it was even in terms of heating the food all over the pan.
4. It is definitely a safe and convenient alternative to gas.
5. There are sufficient heating spots to cook 2-3 meals easily without overcrowding.
6. Overall, I love how it makes my kitchen look now and how quickly it cooks.

Love it

Never had one so big , it seems to make a big difference in cook time. Love that is is so easy to keep clean. Just a quick wipe down. Verses a traditional stove top with burners. Heating elements heat up pretty quickly.

Never going back!

I was a little nervous about replacing our standard electric cooktop with this one, but it has been well worth it. It heats up so fast and the heat is even everywhere in the pan. We did have to replace our cookware with induction ready pots and pans, but I have no regrets. The quick cooldown after use makes me feel more comfortable about having my little ones in the kitchen and I'm able to make dinner so much faster now. Highly recommended!

I started with the stove and realized I would prefer a cook top instead. I settled on this one after doing some research, it's really easy to use and installation wasn't really an issue either. Wow greatest product I have seen for a while
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my 36 inch5 element sensor cooktop unit and have finally had it installed wow this is one of the top notch units and very nicely made has 5 units on the top and very sturdy and works very well if any person needs to replace the unit I would definitely recommend kitchen aid very good quality and really easy to install I was very shocked to find out it was that easy also I was not aware that you could replace your stove tops I assumed you had to replace the whole stove so wow I learned something new but yes very very nice and would recommend this to anyone out there

Awesome 36" large induction cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid induction cooktop is the center piece of my kitchen. I have to tell you that going induction had me concerned but glad we have it installed now. It heats up everything very quickly and efficiently. I would say faster than gas or standard electric element and it is much safer than both of those as well.
The buttons on it are extremely easy to use and the sensing technology makes sure it heats up the pan/pot without having to worry about putting it exactly in the correct position.
It is safe for children since it isn't hot to the touch unless right after cooking and there is an auto lock feature on it as well. The frameless design makes cleaning a synch.
All in all a great product. Glad I have it in my kitchen.

Amazing induction cooktop

Cooks very well but have to have special pans. I wish it was a little larger in some of the burner areas for large pans but overall ok for a 36". Very impressed with it and would recommend it.
