The exhaust is very powerful it does the job. The overhead light is bright as it should be. Definitely recommend this product.

Bright Lights
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of my favorite features of my new KitchenAid 36" Wall-Mount, 3- Speed Canopy Hood is the bright lights. With my previous hood, I could barely see the surface of my stove top. Secondly, this fume hood is much quieter than my previous hood with the exception of the highest motor speed.

Stylish and Functional
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finished with a full remodel of kitchen. Installed this canopy hood. Looks great!. I like how the fan speeds work and the quiet fan when on speed 1. Clean up is a breeze with the cover in place covering the filters. At this point I have nothing bad to say about this product. It is exactly as described and works great!

No more cooking smells
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this hood to go along with the KitcheAid 6 burner Rangetop. The hood is quiet on the first setting, 39dB, and works well keeping saute smells from wafting through the kitchen and areas of the house that are close to the kitchen. Each setting above 1 gets progressively louder but is acceptable due to what the hood was designed to do. When grilling on a grill pan or cooking fish I use the 3rd fan setting. The blower, 400cfm, removes the cooking smells and keeps the kitchen from being smokey.

Surprisingly High Quality Canopy Hood

Yes, Chimney hoods appear a bit dated but it[s what my spouse wanted. Nice, high quality finish, better than many on the market. Reasonably quiet, and nice finished underside. Easy to clean and access filters.

Great Hood
