I have been wanting one for a long time and now I finally own one. The Empire Red matches in my kitchen perfectly. I have used a Kitchen Aid Bowl Lift Mixer for several years. It works great but messy when adding ingredients, especially flour. The tilt -head is a little smaller in size than the bowl lift but allows for easy addition of extra ingredients. I love it for baking cakes and cookies with much easier clean up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first purchased a less expensive and lighter model but did not like it and sent it back and then purchased the Kitchen Aid, and so glad I did! Best thing I did because the Kitchen Aid is so much better in so many ways! I had a Kenmore stand mixer for many years and I loved it, but this Kitchen Aid is better, but the controls are on the opposite side from the Kenmore, so just need to do more mixing to get use to that, otherwise amazing! This came with a flex edge beater mixer attachment and it works great and I love it and so does my husband!

There was nothing wrong with the ones I've had for 21 years, except it isn't red. My black one this replaced will now be handed down to my daughter, as it has a LOT of life in it since it's a fine KitchenAid product. Do I like the tilt-head more? ABSOLUTELY. The ceramic coating on the mix attachments make it so easy to clean, too! The range of motion helps me get the attachments off much easier than the other model. I would recommend this with many more stars if they were allowed.
