You really do need this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic attachment! I make a lot of meals that require sliced or shredded veggies. I use this to shred carrots, lettuce, protestors, zucchini and other squashes, cheese, chocolate, you name it.
Cleans really easily and the blades and pusher are dishwasher safe. Simple blade insertion and removal make for quick changeovers.
This is one of my favorite things!

Great grift idea!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to shred fresh mozzarella for homemade pizza. Pop the fresh mozzarella in the freezer for 30 minutes and then shred with the large hole shredder, works beautifully.

Awesome Slicer and Shredder

You can make zucchini noodles, shredded cheese etc. I also love the slicer attachment. We made zucchini ribbons with the kids and they loved them. I highly recommend buying this set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a “home brewed chef, I’m always looking for items that can save prep time. I prepare A lot of Italian and Mexican meals in my house. With that comes a lot of veggie/cheese prep. Where I use to spend so much time slicing and dicing veggies and cheese, using this simple attachment has changed my cooking/baking game! Wow. It’s super fast and the clean-up is a breeze. I’m also very impressed at the volume of raw food it can handle at one time. What used to take me 20 minutes with a cutting board and a knife now just takes a few. Prep work is a breeze and meals are so much easier to prepare. This is my favorite attachment, by far.

It’s great for shredding cheese.( I always hated using a grater when the cheese block got smaller). I also used it to shred cabbage to make a coleslaw and for adding carrot slices to my salads. This attachment is simple to use and I can toss it in the dishwasher when done.

The slicer/shredder attachment is great for grating/shredder fresh mozzarella for the Italian dishes that we prepare. I haven't had the chance to use the slicer yet, but am very confident that it will work as well as the rest of the KitchenAid products that I have.

They are very helpful in our daily meal preparation. We cook at home every day and like fresh products. This attachment to our kitchen aid mixer is a great addition to our kitchen. It attaches easily to the kitchen aid mixer. There are different tubes and blades for different types of food prep. It cuts/slices fruits and vegetables and cheeses. It is so much easier than hand grating cheese and better than buying packaged shredded cheese. We are going to try a variety of different foods in it. We are very happy with this product. Give it a try yourself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my kitchen aid mixer so I might be bias. ;) This slicer accessory is super easy to add to your mixer. Love that these are dishwasher safe. I’d recommend using these if you’re cutting a bunch of things for a salad, chili or soup. Super efficient! Also good for chopping nuts (for a salad).
