Great for shredding cheese!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago to replace my rotary cheese grater that was made of plastic and broke on me. This Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder attachment is great for grating cheese that I use all the time. I have used it for slicing vegetables also, but it slices a bit too thin for salad vegetables to me. That will not keep me from using it for other things in the future though.

Excellent and durable.

Great Cheese Grater

Great Shredder!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for my carrot salad and any shredding I do… My only kind of issue is that the stain of the carrots is on the inside of the white cylinder .., wish I could get it off but I can’t but that’s OK .. works really well! I haven’t tried the other attachments yet, but I’m sure they will work just as well!!

Love my Kitchen Aid

And I washed it and right away Began to shred and slice everything in sight. But the first thing we made was potato chips, then we made fries, shredded cheese. I am just loving my attachment.

You really do need this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic attachment! I make a lot of meals that require sliced or shredded veggies. I use this to shred carrots, lettuce, protestors, zucchini and other squashes, cheese, chocolate, you name it.
Cleans really easily and the blades and pusher are dishwasher safe. Simple blade insertion and removal make for quick changeovers.
This is one of my favorite things!

Great grift idea!

Awesome Slicer and Shredder

You can make zucchini noodles, shredded cheese etc. I also love the slicer attachment. We made zucchini ribbons with the kids and they loved them. I highly recommend buying this set.
