Great tool

Simplicity that works.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used it to make puree soup and some vinaigrette, but so far, so good. Love the pan saver shield as I have some non stick pots that I can use it in as well. A single button gives you the full range of speeds.

Blends so well…
that when the pan guard came off during use, it blended the pan guard! I don’t use my immersion blenders in non-stick, so I was only out one batch of hummus, but be aware the pan guard is cheap plastic and doesn’t stay on. The blender itself with the blending arm attachment is phenomenal.

want an upgraded version
I had one of these basic versions that worked fine for the occasional task which was broken in a move. We have an offbrand that needs to be replaced as now that i have a baby, i use it all the time…. For everything. I really want and cant believe there’s not one that sits in a countertop charger and looks nice (i have no idea why classic white- not the cheap plastic utilitarian white is not available in a lot of the retro appliances) AND has a frother attachment as well as a high quality blade-all the other stuff it normally comes with. I would pay good money for that. I dont understand how thats not a thing yet. What gives?!

If we want extra attachments or accessories (like an extra jar or wisk) the website mods are directing everyone to call some number - What's teh point or the website.

great BUT it weighs 3 lbs!!!
bought this yesterday and am returning it today because it is toooooo heavy!!! who wants to hold a 3 lb object to puree a soup?

Won’t last
Broke in less than two years. The blender cracked and the plastic cup for blending cracked.

Useless
it won't work on anything harder than soft berry puree. Weak and useless blender. I tried to mix cottage cheese. After a couple of dives, the blender stopped. Every couple of seconds I had to clean up the blades.

It keep stopping, it can not blend a couple of bananas.
