Great Addition to my new kitchen!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Completely remodeled my kitchen which included all new KitchenAid appliances, replacing 30 year old KitchenAid appliances that were still working! The warming draw was a new must have addition - great for keeping all types of food warm as well as warming plates so served food doesn't cool from cold plates.

Love love love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this drawer- love being able to keep things warm ahead of time . Problem that I have is that we mounted the drawer below my oven and there is no lock on the drawer so children could open.

So handy--Worth every penny!
We just had our first occasion to use the warming drawer when we had a large family gathering at our house. I took pies out of the oven and put them in the warmer and they came out beautifully when it was time to eat. With room for only one oven, this kitchen addition will be a big help for those occasions when you need to keep food warm for a crowd.

Love it!
I love the KitchenAid warming drawer. I think as a fluke, ours quit working after 3 months and needs a new fuse. Other than that, I would recommend it.

Improved design!
We owned the previous 30" model for 14 years and really enjoyed the ability to serve a larger group of guests with all receiving a "hot" meal. This latest model moved the control electronics to the side instead of top. Our old model failed due to overheated control electronics. Looking forward to a 14+ year life for this unit and utilizing it as a slow cooker.

Every kitchen should have one!
Bought this a couple months ago for our new home. Its my 2nd warming drawer now. Just couldn't be without one when we moved. Nothing like "warm dishes" when you serve that special meal. In fact, we use it ALL the time.

Been wanting this for years!
Upon designing our new kitchen, I was sure to include a warming drawer! Every time I would cook a large meal for a crowd, I thought how handy a warming drawer would be - no more half cooled dishes by the time all the food was ready! But it is also handy for everyday uses like heating leftovers or keeping extra food warm in case anyone wants seconds. Highly recommend.

Don't know how I did without it
We built a new home and I decided to get the kitchenaid warming drawer. It is fantastic. I used it at thanksgiving to keep my side dishes warm and I was able to serve the whole meal hot. I love it. It also slow cooks, but I have not tried that feature yet. I would recommend this everyone.

This has been a great addition to our new kitchen, we have discovered it many uses, in addition to keeping food warm it doubles a large slow cooker and can be used for recipies requiring long slow cooking....

Nice to have
Built a new home and have a huge kitchen. Its nice to have the warming drawer to keep things warm when having parties or just keeping dinner warm for my husband. Its also got a cook mode to it so I can use it for that.

Everyone needs one of these!
I LOVE this appliance. I bake bread, and the proof setting is fantastic. Using it as a slow cooker is great--dinner can be ready at the end of the day without heating up your kitchen in the summer--and since you use your own pots, you can braise the meat first on top of the stove, then put in drawer. Chips stay crisp, and keeping a plate of food warm for late arrivals (a regular occurrence at our house) are other handy uses.

Warming Drawer
I have only had the use of the drawer since late March but it has been a great addition to my kitchen. I keep my dinner plates in the drawer until it is time to eat. Everyone has a warm plate to help keep their food warm (we talk through dinner). I also put my dinner rolls in there during my dinner prep and by dinner time they are perfectly warm. If you have the place to install one of these units, believe me, you will not be disappointed in doing so.

Solved a problem
I host a family pot luck every month for between 15-20 people. I never had enough space to keep food warm. The warming drawer has been great. Fits 3 to 4 casserole dishes. In addition, I have also used to to keep rolls warm (and moist)! and as a slow cooker. I am extremely happy with this appliance and it looks great in my kitchen island.

Best thing we purchased for our dream kitchen remodel
Of all the items we purchased in our gourmet kitchen the warming drawer is the most used thing. Preparing dinners with guests, either we use it to keep food warm and not dried up, or upon arrival of our guests they use it to keep what they have brought to our dinner. My wife wishes we had two of them.
When we have late arrivals like kids we still have correct temperature food without dried out dinner. Thank-you KitchenAid

Love it
Adding the warming drawer to our traditional cooking methods was a bit different, but now that we've had it for over a year now, we wonder how we ever got along with out it. A very handy appliance for sure! We added our own matching cabinet front. We love it!
