Not the cheapest but worth every penny!
I bought this to replace an older one and couldn’t be happier with it. It keeps my bedroom so comfortable which is not that easy with 16ft ceilings! Additionally, I’ve just received my first electric bill since purchasing and WOW what a difference. So much more energy efficient than the old one.

Summer's almost over, but my LG A/C is still going

It is difficult for others to appreciate just how much relief the A/C has given me this summer, but I am thankful for the respite it has afforded and look forward to many years more of use. Great portable A/C unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with this portable a/c unit. It is very quiet and not as large as our old unit. The hose is securely fastened to the back of the unit in a way that doesn't put undue pressure on it. The controls are easy to use.

Excellent Floor AC unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago. It is a very well built floor air-condition with special features like an automatic vent that fans the room when turned on. It also has a sleep function which is quieter than most. There is still a noise factor, but less than most. It is heavy to carry, so you will need help. All in all an excellent floor AC unit.

It's a fine machine. Runs well. Only two nitpicks are (1) there is no "auto" fan speed; and (2) it's only a single tube for the exhaust.

LC Dual CONVERTER is the Best!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a lot of research, I selected the LG model and it has solved our upstairs air conditioning issues completely. At our 2 story home the existing heat pump could not maintain a cool enough temperature when it was 90 degrees or hotter. By utilizing the Lc dual converter a/c in a large main bedroom, it is cool and comfortable all the time.. Also the look and features are very appealing. Thank you for a great product!!

So simple, it’s sinful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this during a recent heat wave. Within 24 hours it lowered the OUTSIDE temperature by 15°!
However, what was most striking was how easily it set up, with the window insert(s) working as designed, and the vent hose attachment from the unit to the window being very easy.
I especially love being able to sit in my downstairs living room and control the functions - in fact, I don’t even have to be home to do that.
Finally, it is quite quiet, especially on the sleep mode.

Keep your Cool
Excellent air conditioner! We put it in our patio room and the salesman recommended the 14,000 BTU would do the space nicely. It was absolutely correct. Easy installation, we have outside wall vent, and easy operation. You set the dial of coldness you want… and it reaches the desired temperature very quickly. Nice looking and easy to operate. We took the insurance as always to cover any problems should they occur. PC Richard always stands behind their products. Excellent price & service! Always happy with our purchases.

Fantastic unit has worked perfectly for 4+ years
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic unit from the beginning. Double hung windows so very easy to install the outdoor exhaust vent with the included window panel and foam (use some duct tape to seal completely). Have owned for 4 years using each summer and has not let me down, while also not using too much power. Love the wifi remote access on my smartphone to see the temp at home and turn it on when I'm out and can turn off remotely when cool enough. The bedtime timer turn off also works well. Needs to be within about 3-4 feet from window, but you can move it (has wheels) to point the air where you want it to go. After summer, remove the window vent mount and keep it in the room as it's a fairly compact pleasing design.

Best cooling experience ever!
I've bought my portable 10,009 btu air conditioner a couple of weeks ago. The unit is larger than expected, but the performance is superior to any window ac unit. We set the unit up in the bedroom. When the unit is running the noise is minimal. You really can't call it noise because it is so quiet. Unlike most window units, the room does not have cold or warm spots. The room temperature appears to be consistent. The LG portable ac unit is amazing. Best cooling experience ever! Highly recommend this product.

A good quality portable AC unit.
This AC unit works quite well. The air outlet tube has a better attachment technique than machines I have used in the past. In order to avoid having to empty the water container, I connected a length of kegerator tubing, (from Amazon), to the outside. After the initial install, it worked perfectlt with the first button press on the remote.

LG 14,000 BTU (10,000 BTU DOE) Portable A/C
Nice air conditioner, a little bit noisy when it revs up on each cooling cycle, but nothing we can't sleep through. Really gets cold, setting goes down to 60 deg. F (by contrast, in another room, our mini split system's lowest setting is 64 deg. F). One thing that made this A/C quieter is to stop the swing motion of the output vanes- we just leave it in one position rather than the default up & down motion. Reason we purchased it: getting too old to put window units in and out! Easy to add the air hose panel to the bottom of a window. The unit is heavy (70 lbs.), so it stays on one floor of our home (PC Richards delivered it to our 2nd floor for us, very nice service). The drain plug is very low, close to the floor, so we bought shallow 1" deep aluminum chafing dish pans (13" x 18", two of them nested to have support) and this slips under the drain plug with enough volume to collect the condensed water. Would buy again.

Powerful and efficient

Great cooling investment.

The bedroom stays cool at night. It was easy to drain water from the unit after a month in service. It got maybe a small tea cup of water.

You Can't Go Wrong - Quiet & Efficient!
Purchased this a month ago and have been extremely pleased with this unit! Not only the efficiency but most importantly the quietness during cooling, especially compared to other units. I ended up replacing a competitors unit with this one and it was the best move that I could make!

Excellent Portable Air Conditioner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LP1419IVSM is an excellent portable air conditioner for approximately 500 ft/sq. It's not too noisy, in fact very quiet compared to some of the others, and it's a "smart" device. You can control it with the LG ThinQ app (for iPhone or Android) if you would like. If you're using the app, you can set schedules and see estimated energy usage / costs as you go.
