Excellent compact freezer with lots of shelves.
I wanted to get an extra freezer so I could stock up during sales and such. This one worked out just perfect. It's small enough to fit almost anywhere. Stores a good amount, in my case that's about twice as much as the freezer section on my refrigerator. I really like the large number of shelves as I don't need to pile things on top of one another. This makes getting to everything really easy (unlike the fridge/freezer in my kitchen). It's a, no cooling fan, model so no circulating noise or fan to fail one day. The chilling coils are built into all the shelves so it cools fast and even. Its not very heavy at about 90lbs so easy to move if you need to. Looks good too, but that's a bit of a subjective assessment. The operating cost is quite low, the sticker estimates $40 per year (your mileage may vary) which I foresee I'll made back by buying some items in bigger sizes and when their on sale. Overall very very happy with this model. I've only had it for about 2 months now so I can't speak to its long term reliability but I think the simple design should help it be more reliable that more complicated models. I'd give it a definite buy recommendation. -Eric

Perfect size!
This was the perfect size for us. We buy a quarter beef/cow every 6 months and this fit everything just fine

Couldn't be happier with this purchase.
Pros: Very quiet, strong magnetic seal, strong vacuum when closing the door, super cold and efficient, my setting at mid-way got me at -5 near the inside top shelf.
Cons: Shelves not adjustable, bottom bin for defrost-water, but I put a Turkey there for now until I need to defrost.

Great Freezer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer is perfect size for our specific needs. We bought it as a replacement to an older, larger refrigerator-freezer combination which had been taking up too much space. This appliance is pretty quiet after it’s been running for a few days, and is short and shallow enough to not take up too much space visually. Could have a shelve(s) above it if desired since it doesn’t reach as high as a standard refrigerator-freezer.
The only downside is that the shelves are fixed in place, so you can’t easily remove one to accommodate a large frozen item. On the flip side, I think it’s more efficient from a storage perspective to have multiple shelves instead of a few widely spaced shelves because you can fit in more smaller items and access them more easily than if they were all stacked up on each other.
The freezer isn’t very heavy so at first, the appliance will rock forward when you try to open the door because it’s got a great seal on it. Don’t worry! Once it’s loaded with frozen items, the combined weight will keep it seated on the floor when you open the door.
I paid full price for the appliance.

Fantastic Slimline Upright Freezer
Purchasing this LG Slimline Upright Freezer was the best decision. My old freezer died suddenly and I was blessed to find this LG freezer quickly. It is perfect for our need and the profile is great. Door shelves help with small slim items and the shelves for larger items. Thank you

Perfect Size and functionality
great freezer! this is the perfect combo of being small enough to put in a corner, but also functional enough to hold a lot. I really wanted an upright instead of a chest freezer and this fit the bill. It;s cute too!

Excellent size.
Really happy with this freezer. We looked for a while to find a small upright and this is the perfect size. Its nice looking and doesn’t take up a ton of space. Racks are not adjustable so if you buy huge things this might not work, but for what we need it’s perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG freezer has a very slick look. Very compact, takes up less space than my small chest freezer. Really like better than my chest. Downside is that this LG 20" W 6 cu. ft. did not hold everything from my 5 cu. ft. chest. Up on arrival got very cold fast, below zero. Adjusting took longer than I thought but got it around +2 degrees after a few days adjusting once per day.

Love It
At this point I am In Love with my new Freezer. It looks great, was easy to set up, is is just what I needed as a single person. I was only in need of a freezer for Meat really, as my freezer in my refrigerator is frost free and I have a real issue with the way frost free keeps meat. So I wanted a small manual defrost for that purpose and this new LG works great and looks great and really fits the bill. I would recommend this freezer to anyone that has a small area or just needs a small freezer. Was reasonably priced as well.

It's Quiet, and built w/ Quality
Purchased 03/2023 - I live in a 1 BR apartment w/ a narrow kitchen, so size was a factor, as well quality and w/ this having no self-defrost I at first was concerned. It's met all those concerns as a win. I do have to defrost it twice a year ,which is very easy. It's quiet, you can't hear it at all after it's adjusted after filling it up. So w/ all the above positives, what are the cons? I've only found one so far I can't put a whole turkey in it. I'm a retired senior, only me left. So w/ that only con, it's help me to see I don't need a whole turkey anyways, so it's not really a con to myself. Just buy the breast and enjoy that since it's what I like. Love this freezer, and I've come to really like LG as a company. This is the third large product of there's I've bought this year. All are great quality products that I've told all my friends about.

Great upright freezer
We were looking for an upright freezer to stock up on meat and things. And happened to go to P. C. Richards’s and found this one. It was the perfect size and the no defrost was right what we were looking for. Only took 12 hours to get to temperature to start loading it up. Have been happy with it so far no issues. LG is a very good brand.

Nice medium size freezer

It has shelves/dividers that can't be removed. Wish they made these adjustable shelves so I can store tall liquid containers. But I really love the looks and convenience of storing frozen food.

Compact size
