enough room to put dishes, glasses and silverware
I have used my dishwasher twice, since it was delivered and I have been completely satisfied with the way it cleans the dishes. I had 14 family members here for Easter Dinner and I was able to put the dishes and silverware into the dishwasher and everything was completely clean, when I unloaded the dishwasher. I paid in full for this dishwasher at a local store.

LG Dishwasher a solid choice
Review is for LG LDFN4542S Dishwasher. After reviewing Consumer Reports (website) we decided on this model as it ranked solidly in the midrange with consumer satisfaction, ease of use, features, and price. The model was on Thanksgiving week sales. After using the dishwasher for 3 weeks we're pleased. The top tray for silverware is easy and handy to load up so we took out the removable basket to free up more space. The display indicates the time remaining to which is fun and handy. We liked that it stores in memory the settings we used last so the next load just needs power on and start buttons to push. This model is wifi enabled which we haven't used yet but I suppose it could come in handy one day - either programming it or possibly pausing it if visitors came by. We are both hearing impaired so we have no idea if the 48db noise rating is accurate but supposedly its quieter than some other models. One caveat that other reviewers had noted is the bottom rack can go off the track but we solved that by simply exerting a little rightward pressure on the right side as you pull out or push in. We paid extra for PC Richard to install -took less than an hour and very professionally done. All in all we're happy with the choice. It adds a nice look to the kitchen with the stainless steel option we picked

A Happy Dishwashing Cleaning Experience
I absolutely love this dishwasher and read all the review and was a little nervous. The previous one I had was working fine but wanted this one due to the additional utensil drawer on top of the glasses. I Had to have it and my husband wasn't happy I bought a new one when certainly the old one worked fine. However, this cleans so well and is quiet and the hubby said I made a great choice to replace it. I would recommend this to anyone looking to have a cleaner dishwashing experience. My old samsung found a good home but this LG is far better in cleaning and has so many features down to the cleanout basket instead of having to take apart the filter on the old one I had to clean.

Amazing upgrade!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dishwasher for a month now and we love it, it’s incredibly quiet! The only thing that makes a noise is the drain. My wife loves the adjustable top rack (it was one of the selling points for her) it’s very smooth and has very accessible handles to help with the adjustment. Other models we looked at were much more difficult to maneuver. The black stainless steel looks amazing in our kitchen and is perfect since we have animals that brush up against it and push off of it (cats on the counter) leaving no hair or prints. Love the stainless steel inside since it helps with odor and stains. I’m a journeyman plumber and installed the unit myself and have not had any problems with leaks or draining.

Surprised how sparkly my dishes look now!
I'm happy with my quiet LG dishwasher! It has the same dimensions as my old dishwasher, but my LG is set up in a way that it holds more dishes. And it even has an extra rack on top!
I was also surprised at the quality of the wash. My dishes sparkle with the Auto set, which is my favorite wash at the moment. I haven't had time to try all of the settings. I love my LG TV as well, which prompted me to purchase the dishwasher. Thank you, LG!

This dishwasher is very quiet, and excellent at cleaning all my dishes and flatware. It took some getting used to having the third rack, but I now totally love it. A great place for all utensils. The adjustability of the second rack allows a great deal of flexibility for putting tall items in either the bottom or the second rack. Looks great and matches all my other LG appliances well.

We bought our LG dishwasher a couple of months ago. It runs very quietly and works very well to clean our dishes. It holds a lot of dishes and I love the option to fold down prongs to hold large pots and pans. The third rack to hold utensils frees up space on lower racks. Great function
