The wash machine is the first front loading washer I've ever purchased. The dryer has numerous selections and appears to sense the exact drying time needed. It is very quiet and the digital timer allows you to know exactly how long the drying time will be.

After a particularly bad experience with a gas dryer from a domestic (U.S.) manufacturer who claimed its product was, "dependable from day one," my new replacement gas dryer was a pleasant surprise. My previous dryer would not ignite, and after visits from five individual service technicians (none of whom were able to correct the issue), I finally gave up and purchased a new LG gas dryer. My initial impression is that it successfully ignites when heat is called for, it is quiet, and efficient. The controls are easy to understand and closely match those of my matching new LG front loading washer. It begins and ends its cycles with a cheery little tune that brings a smile to my face every time!
