This fridge has ice in the drawer so no space is sacrificed. The fridge portion has SO much space! I don’t use it all daily but I will appreciate it when we have guests or during the holidays. We are still adjusting to less freezer space than precious fridge, but knew this going in. I was actually pleasantly surprised at the space it does have. My only obstacle was the entire exterior surface had a plastic coating, but it was so well installed that I didn’t know if it was supposed to come off. It is! The fact that this model is counter depth is great! It fits so much better without sacrificing any space. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Could Not Be HAPPIER We did a complete renovation to an old farm house, which was finally complete about 6 months ago. Ever since we moved in, I have loved the look and functionality of this refrigerator in our beautifully new kitchen. We honestly couldn't be happier with this product, not only for it's sleek and modern design, it's also energy efficient and replacement filters are priced reasonable. LG was right on with the capacity of this particular model, as it keeps my family of 5 going without being overfilled. It's easy to clean, functional accessibility to all areas (which is amazing), and all the door storage was well thought out and fit our condiments, milk, and juice perfectly. Not to mention, THE CRAFT ICE MAKER!! If there was such thing as an "Ice Snob," my fiancé would fall into that category, and he LOVES the craft ice that comes as an option on this model. The quality and size of ice it produces is amazing, and they come out in a perfectly round ball, about the size of a large lime! If you're on the fence about adding this option, I encourage you to go with it, you won't be sorry! It feels weird to be this excited about a refrigerator, I guess this one is just exceptional!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kitchen Jewel My counter depth refrigerator is the fulfillment of a long awaited addition to my kitchen. SO many features to like: the streamlined look it gives the kitchen, the independently opening top doors, the two freezer drawers offer increased visibility (no more taking half the contents of the freezer out to find an item!). The stainless steel surface is easy to keep clean and the "ding" reminds me I left a door or drawer open - very helpful and efficient. I'm happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HUGE! I thought I was going to be upset with this refrigerator when after a year, the ice machine, not the craft ice, was not working and an error code came up. Easy enough, the error code was discussed with LG service who walked me through a simple process to clean the back vent (my fault because of cat hair) and a defrost and we have not had an issue since. Great product, we highly recommend.

Keeps drinks cold and doesn’t water them down….plus they make beverages look classy and guests love it! This craft ice maker replacement works perfectly and was so easy to install. The instructional video on LG website was simple to follow and provided every detail necessary.

Its very illuminated in all areas. The craft ice maker is a little loud but that's to be expected when 3 big ice balls are dropping in the tray. Excellent fridge, well worth having.

It has twice the space of our old one yet fits in the same space. Amazing!!! The water outlet is 100% better than what we had previously, it fills a glass in 1/3 the amount of time!! And the lighting is great, I can actually see what we have in it. I think you get the point. Oh, and our old refrig. was a Frigidaire, only five years old.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Fridge I've Ever Owned [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I looked for the biggest, most highly rated fridge on the market and this was it. A year later it has met my expectations with just one flaw - the cocktail ice maker stopped working after 1 year. Not a big deal because I rarely make use of it. I love how spacious, well lit, and how easy it is to find stuff in here. I use the "hidden door" to store open bottles of wine, which are a pain to store in most fridges. The water pressure coming out of the fridge is great, I don't have to wait all day to fill a water bottle. The freezer drawers are very functional, allowing you to quickly get to what you need, and see everything.
