First OLED and already picked up a 2nd!
First OLED, and could not be happier! Easy setup (thanks to the free setup promo) and was enjoying a movie within a couple hours of delivery. Only downside - hard to watch my older/basic TVS, and already replaced another in the house with a B5!

LG - 48" Class B5 Series OLED
For this product being an "entry level" oled, I must admit the display and the resolution is superb. I have been using this product mostly for resolution mode gaming and the fps on resolution mode gaming varies from 60fps - 40fps which I am okay with. With proper optimization this product will for sure satisfy any consumer who is looking to upgrade from their old set up; of course bearing in mind this an "entry level" oled.

LG entry level TV is quite premium for the price
I purchased this TV 6 weeks ago. It is a fantastic television, replacing an older 55inch LG LED backlit TV which was still working after 8 years! I use this in a room that does have plenty of outdoor lighting, a window to the left of the television at approximately a 45° angle, and a patio door, about 18 ft to the right also at an angle has the television is mounted on a stand in a corner of the room at an angle? I know this TV is not as bright as the C5 however, we have had no problems with glare or brightness of this B5! With all the features this television has, it's really lacking very little that's significant to me over the higher end oleds. Saved a grand over the C5, and very happy with it.

This TV is a game changer for home enjoyment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just opened the LG OLED83B5PUA that I got for my new house, & even though we don’t move in for another 2 weeks, I had to try it. We have an LG in our current house, but this one takes it to another level. I'm a total film nerd & got so excited that I sat on the floor with it still in the box to watch a movie as soon as it was delivered. The picture is ridiculously crisp, the colors are so vibrant it feels like you're at a theater, and honestly, I can't believe that this TV is actually part of my home. I played around with the sound, and it has some serious speakers. The audio was rich, full, and could get blasting loud. If it sounds this good without even being set up properly, I can only imagine how amazing it’ll be once it’s up on the wall in the living room. Without a doubt,this is the best TV I've ever owned & I highly recommend it to anyone who loves chilling at home watching movies, sports and more. Stunning picture and sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from an 82" 2019 QLED to the LG OLED83B5PUA and have been blown away by the difference in picture quality. Blacks are obviously better, but everything is crisper, with a 3D quality that was missing from my old TV.
This is in a living room that doubles as a casual daytime spot and a theater room at night. With Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos playing 4K content, movies come alive. I’ve even found myself putting on the kids’ animated movies just because they look so stunning on this TV.
I compared the B, C, and G series side by side in-store. While I could see some subtle differences, I knew I’d never watch them like that at home, and I’m very happy with my purchase.

A Worthy Upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just upgraded to the LG B5 77” OLED from my 2017 LG C7 65” and I‘ve been blown away by the quality. I’ve been using it for watching sports, streaming shows and movies, and gaming. It’s been amazing across the board for all of those. The picture is super sharp, colors look incredible, and the brightness has worked great in my bright living room.
Watching sports makes me feel right in the action, and games run incredible smooth. The smart TV features are easy to use, which makes flipping between apps super quick and seamless. The AI features have been great in recommending the best picture setting for whatever app I may be using.

I would recommend this TV movie experience

Sleek, fast and excellent picture quality

Movies, shows, games, whatever, it all looks super smooth and sharp. Gaming (which my husband tried right away lol) especially feels really fast and responsive with no lag, and it supports 4K at 120Hz which is awesome. The built-in smart features are easy to use, and the remote has voice control which is actually really handy. The picture quality is so good, you just get pulled right into whatever you’re watching. The colors are super vibrant, the blacks are deep, and everything looks insanely sharp. For the size and everything you’re getting, it's more than worth it. Amazing!

Picture, sound, experience- Exceptional!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted an OLED TV. I saw this one and decided it was time. I have to say, the colors are outstanding. I’m a big gamer and my games I play look exactly like I’d expect from a TV of this caliber! As for the UI I was pleasantly surprised, LG webOS is super easy to use and there are a ton of cool AI features integrated into this TV. The remote is sleek and connecting all our devices was smooth and easy. Also super happy they have an app that works in case the remote ends up under the couch lol. My kids comment constantly that it looks like we are in a movie theater so I’d say it was a good choice! Overall a great purchase and it’s exceeded my expectations. A must have TV for the household!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Alright, we finally got the 83-inch LG B5 OLED set up in our basement movie room, and man, it is a complete game-changer. The sheer size is one thing, but the picture quality is what really elevates the space. Family movie night has been upgraded to a full-blown theater experience. The blacks are genuinely black, not some washed-out gray, which makes every color pop with incredible vibrancy. Since it's in the basement, we can get the room really dark, and the detail in shadowy movie scenes is just stunning.
It's also fantastic for watching sports, with no motion blur during fast plays. We have it connected to our LG soundbar, and the combination creates a seriously immersive audio experience that fills the whole room. The built-in smart apps are straightforward to use for finding something to watch. My only tiny gripe is that the remote isn't backlit. But honestly, it's a minor issue. The whole fam loves it.

Even without the discount, I have no regrets the picture quality is absolutely incredible, the colors are vibrant, and the blacks are deep and true. The sound is surprisingly rich for a flat screen, and the smart features are easy to navigate. The remote is sleek and responsive, and connecting my devices was simple. First new AI tv experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation is easy. Connectivity is simple but sometimes disconnected, and requires reconnection. But the Tv is thin on the top and thicker at the bottom, easy to damage, not durable if you move the tv around too much. LG is known for their pictures quality. Sound performance is 8/10, my old one has better sound performance.

Great TV, Auracast does not work unfortunately
This is a review for the LG OLED83B5 series TV. This television has a wonderful picture and when paired up with an external speaker or sound bar, leads to an exceptional entertainment experience. My wife loves the tv. I however, do have some complaints involving the new Auracast broadcast, as to which I’m hoping will be resolved in a future software update. For those of us who have hearing aids, Auracast will transmit the tv audio directly to your hearing aids phone app using Bluetooth technology. Unfortunately on this tv, after pairing the Auracast broadcast to my Jabra hearing aids app (EnhancePro), the tv remote functionality seized up, leaving on/off as the only button that worked. I tried turning it off & on, unplugging it, I even did a factory reset, but when I tried connecting to the Auracast broadcast, the tv froze up. There were some trial periods when the tv worked briefly but seized up again after stopping a video. I’m guessing that it’s a Bluetooth bug that hopefully can be resolved with a software fix.
Another issue with Auracast on this tv is that there is no USER audio modulation adjustment. The audio transmission output is too high for my comfort level….I had to turn my hearing aid app’s adjustment all the way down and it still felt too loud for my comfort!
Why is there NO user manual for this particular model on the LG website? You can download the quick setup guide and safety guide but no full user manual!

Fantastic while it lasted
Tv looked good for a few months the failed. Still under warranty so I thought it would be fixed quickly. It's been over a month and no one come to fix it. I would never buy another LG product again.
