It works great and our water from the refrigerator is as good if not better, than bottled water. As long as we have the LG refrigerator, we will continue with the subscription.

The old filter was long overdue for a replacement and the water and ice kind of smelled funny. I installed this filter replacement and almost immediately, the smell was gone and both the ice and water tasted great. It was a little difficult to set into place, but once it found the groove, it went in and fresh water was ours.
