Best TV in my opinion.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about this TV is excellent. I think the picture is outstanding in HDR, SDR, sports, playstation, and anything else. The processing of both HDR and SDR content is excellent with colors and brightness easily dialed in to my liking. The 4K upscaling works really well. The connection to each HDMI port changes to the correct port when I use the remote for that equipment. I have the 77” TV and it is immersive (I view it from 4-11 ft.). I feel like I am in a movie theater, but the picture is better than most movie theaters. I do have it on a stand and I like it. There is a slight tilt backwards built into the stand by design, and it does not detract from my viewing experience. I am using this with an LG soundbar SG10TY 3.1 and the sound is excellent in my opinion. I am really enjoying this TV. Highly recommended!

Lg g4 oled 77 inches

WOW what a picture

The picture is clear and bright and the colors make you feel like you can reach out and touch the items on the screen. It was easy to set up and pair with my JBL soundbar. I used my own mount and it was simple to install.

Best all round 2024 display
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing out the box, HDR and Dolby Vision work perfectly with impactful >1000 nit highlights and high contrast self emissive pixels – no blooming like with LCD TVs. Screen is clean, visible from all angles, no dirty screen effect or darkening in corners like with LCD TVs. Simple day and night accurate TV moved for SDR, and Dolby Vision – with almost no tweaking needed aside from turning off eco mode. Integration with my Denon AVR, Apple TV, and Nintendo switch devices work well with no software bugs (I do not use the built in webOS and smart TV apps, and I do not use the built in speakers). Perfect size for 9-11ft viewing distance - I have it on a Sanus elite wall mount and can pull it forward 2ft for immersive cinema content or leave against wall for TV content or games. Well built high quality metal frame. LG optimizing OLED over 10 years all comes together in the 77" G4.

Best TV in the market bar none.
I bought my first LG TV about 8 years ago, I finally upgraded to the 77 inch G4 and let me tell you, this is the best TV that I have ever seen. I spent way too much time looking into all the new offerings, and the G4 always came on top. The picture quality is outstanding, the design is beautiful. 4k Dolby Vision looks phenomenal. This is the one to get, no need to wait on anything else.

Lightning fast interface and amazing picture!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off this TV is incredible and using the included mount sits nearly flush to the wall. The picture quality is top notch and even made me upgrade my Blu-Ray player to take advantage of the new OLED display. The TV's OS is blazing fast and quick to load app. I would highly recommend the OLED Evo G4 if you're in the market for a new TV.

LG OLED evo G4
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first LG TV. I've historically been a Sony guy. I was comparing LG G4 against Sony Bravia 8 OLED vs LG C4 vs last year's C3/G4. I was able to find a Best Buy that had the LG G4, LG G3, LG C4, and the Sony Bravia 8 all on display. The brightness difference alone between the LG C4 and LG G4 was night and day. The G4 was the clear winner between all of these models. I was hesitant on an OLED even though I really wanted one as I have a very bright room with 12' slider so need a bright TV. The G4 "so far" is holding up. It is an expensive TV and more than I would have liked to spend but you get what you pay for.
I would have liked the mount to be a bit more wider and flexible as it is just wide enough to hit two studs and studs never line up to where you want TV centered. I have upper recessed power and a Smurf tube but still not able to get fully flush to wall. If you want truly flush to wall like Samsung frame, you will need to have your power/HDMI/etc. follow the recessed channels and go out the bottom of TV. If not, the gap between TV and wall will be however thick your HDMI is.
As far as LG in home delivery, the date you select at checkout may not be accurate. I selected a date that was not the first available and still had to wait past my selected date for it to arrive at local last mile delivery company (RXO). It would be nice to have a bit more detailed information on order status and delivery. I called support as well and they could not confirm where it was so I was a bit nervous.
Not related to LG or TV, but I took advantage of the included free installation service by Handy. I've always mounted myself but since was included, decided to give it a shot since special mount. This is a third party service and will vary drastically depending on your location. They were supposed to send two people due to size but only one showed up so I had to do majority of the work. It was nice to have an extra pair of hands, especially as it is a heavy TV (80+ lbs).

Fantastic oled

The secret sauce is the MLA technology. Everything is brighter, more vibrant and detailed. Its truly something to behold.

Impressive Picture Quality & Immersive Experience
I recently purchased the LG G4 77-inch TV, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. Absolutely amazing TV. #1 OLED in 2024!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moving up from a Sony 55" OLED to this 77" LG G4 OLED was huge leap in picture quality and gaming performance.
- HDR and Dolby Vision is absolutely amazing. Color reproduction in Filmmaker DV is spot on.
- 120Hz DV capability on each HDMI port is a game changer. Gaming with XBOX Series X and PS5 work beautifully.
- The AI improvements to SD content makes low quality video feeds look fantastic.
The LG G4 is probably the best OLED purchase in 2024.
