Big and mighty air conditioner!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG 9800 btu air conditioner is very powerful! It has a lot of settings on it from fan, to low cold to high cold. The remote is very operational and convenient as well. It is a little bit difficult to install by yourself because it is big and bulky. But with two people it installs quite easily. Its powerful enough to cool down about 600 sq ft of space in my house, so it definitely cools more than its rated to in my opinion.

Cool air
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was very easy. My husband and I tackled it. It is heavy so 2 people make it easier to lift. I love how easy it was to install. It does come with a remote which is a nice added bonus. Instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. I cannot wait to get some use out of this in the warmer months. The air comes out so cold.

Very cool and easy to install!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I just moved from Washington to Florida and the difference between the weather is extremely opposites! This room air conditioner by far is something I enjoy now coming home. It keeps my very chill feeling like by home. It was easy to install on the window, and the remote controls are easy to use. Overall, I’d say this is the model I’d recommend to everyone! It’s great and efficient.

Great quality and features

Just what I needed

With the recent extreme heat wave in our area I couldn't be more satisfied with my new in the wall air conditioner. Not only was it super easy to install it's even easier to operate. I often use only the fan. It's a little nosier than I expected but not enough to disturb my sleep. As a matter of fact I find it kind of lulls me to sleep. I haven't received my electric bill since installation, which by the way my Grandson did for me. I'm expecting a lower bill than with my previous years old model. All in all, I would say this is one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. Very, very satisfied. Looks good, too!!!

Great Window A/C
Easy to install and I like the remote with the features. Runs quiet but I know its on. Doesn't cool as fast as I thought and I'm only using it in one room. However, I do like it and when it comes time to replace the other unit I would but this.

Perfect fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a new place and it has a shop that is perfect for my ham radio room. Probley is we live in S AZ and the summers are brutal. The shop was not air conditioned so it was imperative that it be so. I did a lot of research on the web looking for a reasonable compromise between cost and BTU. This appeared to be the best one. But I needed to look at real world reviews and again it took top honors. I hired the install and it went smoothly. Its performance has been excellent and it provides enough capacity to keep my radio room cool in the summer.

Does what I wanted. Keeps my storage shed cool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this during 100+ degree summer heat as my portable window unit had failed. I bought a sleeve and mounted the unit in the wall and it's been working great ever since and it easily holds the temperature below 70 degrees. I'm quite happy with it. The only negatives are: 1. That it often bugs me to clean the filter when an inspection shows the filter to be just fine. 2. Even in cool weather below the set point the unit continues to cycle on every now and then, usually for less than a minute. These items are not enough to prevent my rating it as a great air conditioner that works well.

We bought 3 of these air conditioners and used them for a full summer. Our electric bill did non increase much at all. We were very surprised. The air conditioners kept the rooms very cool and were not loud like most. We would definitely purchase again.
