Big and mighty air conditioner!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG 9800 btu air conditioner is very powerful! It has a lot of settings on it from fan, to low cold to high cold. The remote is very operational and convenient as well. It is a little bit difficult to install by yourself because it is big and bulky. But with two people it installs quite easily. Its powerful enough to cool down about 600 sq ft of space in my house, so it definitely cools more than its rated to in my opinion.

Cool air
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was very easy. My husband and I tackled it. It is heavy so 2 people make it easier to lift. I love how easy it was to install. It does come with a remote which is a nice added bonus. Instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. I cannot wait to get some use out of this in the warmer months. The air comes out so cold.

Very cool and easy to install!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I just moved from Washington to Florida and the difference between the weather is extremely opposites! This room air conditioner by far is something I enjoy now coming home. It keeps my very chill feeling like by home. It was easy to install on the window, and the remote controls are easy to use. Overall, I’d say this is the model I’d recommend to everyone! It’s great and efficient.

LG AC SLEEVE for thru the wall installation
This is required forn thru wall only installatiins. It is sharp looking and had interior and exterior bezelswhich acts like a lip over the moldings. The interior bezel came in handy to route the cord under as plug on opposite side of wall.

Excellent thru-the-wall room air conditioner unit.
The controls are much like the Friedrich air conditioner I replaced with this one, but LG is much quieter. It was as easy as pulling the old Friedrich out of the wall sleeve and sliding this one in its place. Took only a few minutes to install.

Great unit
I bought this about a month ago to replace a wall unit that was over 40 years old. We were afraid to it due to its age. I bought a wall sleeve to go with this and it fit like a glove. I liked the fact that it came with trim pieces as well to give it a finished look.

Stayed with LG!
I decided it was time to upgrade my thru the wall a/c and I asked if there were any LG’s available and a computer search made by store representative came up with the same model I purchased 13 years ago! If it worked that long as worked well, then why not stay with the model?

Surpassed my Expectations
Some people who reviewed this product cited common issues that may arise. These issues could've been addressed if such individual simply checked the LG website.
Having said that, this air conditioner works well for what I need. Almost too well. I actually have to shut the AC off sometimes because of how cold it gets. It's a solid product. I have no complaints with any noise it makes (virtually none), leakage, installation (it's intuitive, for the most part), or otherwise.
It is heavy, but considering the value it delivers, I don't mind. If this is being bought as a gift for a person who cannot lift heavy appliances, I would recommend having a person or two to help install the unit.

LG is the best hands down
I bought my LG air conditioner about a month ago and had my handyman install it in my master bedroom. I love it and it is quiet and efficient. I bought my LG washer and dryer years ago as well as my refrigerator and could not be happier. It is the only brand I will buy.

DELIGHTED!

The 2 installers were kind and thoughtful. I am 81 and they instructed me and answered my questions. What a blessing!it arrived on my birthday!

Great AC!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these units a few weeks ago and have used them both a few times since then. So far they both work great and are not as loud as other air conditioners. They were also pretty easy to install and look nice, unlike the old units that came with the apartment and did not properly fit in the wall sleeves. My sister noticed the new units when she came to visit and is planning to buy a couple of them as well to replace the old ones at her house. I’m really satisfied with this purchase overall and highly recommend this air conditioner!

Looks great and perfect fit
