best washer/dryer ever

First and foremost, using it as a pedestal elevates the main washer/dryer combo to the perfect working height. Not having to constantly bend down to load and unload heavy laundry is an immediate, noticeable relief on the back.
Beyond ergonomics, being able to run both the SideKick and the main combo unit simultaneously cuts laundry time significantly. Controlling both machines directly from the main combo’s central display makes the entire system feel seamlessly integrated. I was initially worried about whether standard household plumbing could handle both units running and draining at the same time, but water pressure and drainage have been completely smooth with zero issues.
Since the SideKick is wash-only, having the combo drum right above it makes workflow easy—just lift the freshly washed items out and toss them into the top unit to dry.
A couple of practical quirks to keep in mind:
Manual Detergent: Unlike the main combo unit with its automatic dispenser reservoir, you need to manually measure and add detergent for each load.
Drying the Tub: To prevent odors and let the drum dry completely after a cycle, you have to leave the drawer pulled open and the inner flap lid up.
