Child lock!!!
I bought this cooktop to replace my fridgidaire cooktop and wanted something without knobs as I have 4 small children. This lg cooktop has been a breeze to operate and heats up 10x faster than my old one! I haven’t had a single issue yet while owning it and if you want a sleek looking cooktop that also has a child lock setting then I recommend this one.

Stove That Works!
We bought the 30 inch electric cooktop without seeing the unit in person, My wife who is legally blind had her apprehensions but she learn how to use in a short time. The stove works as advertised if not better. Controls are laid out nicely and easy to understand.

Smarter than I am
This LG cooktop has every setting a gourmet cook could want, but for me, a hate-to-be-in-the-kitchen cook, it is a true godsend. I no longer boil over my pasta water, have a warming plate to save me when my meat cooks faster than my vegetables. It is remarkable with technology that makes every meal easy and - even for me - fun.

Cooktop
I'm happy with the upgrade and making effort with getting acclimated to cooktop. It is hard to make it look squeeky clean, there seems to be a film over it. I look forward to reviewing it again after a year to confirm how it holds up.

21 century cooking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently renovated the kitchen and replaced our 1962 cooktop with this LG cooktop. It was an amazing leap into the future. In the space we had 4 burners we now have 4 burners and a warning burner. Love the feature where the hot light stays on until the burner cools. The controls were easy to master. Extremely happy with this new cooktop.

Clean and stylish upgrade.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bringing the kitchen to a more modern look has been achieved with this LG cooktop. The unit was easy to install but does require a dedicated 40 amp. 240/220-volt circuit with #10 wire. Being only a month old I have found this cooktop to work flawlessly. I love the even heat and the option of the dual burners. Cleaning the unit has been easy to achieve and looks great. The only drawback I have found is adjusting the temperature settings. Having sight issues the 1-9 main touch pad would have been nice if it were more illuminated instead of just the power on only. The individual power illumination for each burner is great. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the cooktop.

Great Cooktop!

Love this cooktop!

We live in a 55+ community so folks don’t do much cooking; however, I love to cook and used my appliances a lot! I thought my old cooktop was fine until I got my new LG cooktop a month ago. Wow! The difference is amazing. It cooks so much quicker and hotter than my other one. I love the dual and triple burners, along with the bridge that allowed me to make gravy in my large roasting pan at Thanksgiving. Easy to clean, gorgeous and efficient. Thanks, LG! I love it!

Best cooktop ever!

The controls are easy to use and include a child safety lock. The features on this cook top, the warming area and the optional heating element sizes, make cooking enjoyable. The elements heat up fast and boiling water for pasta or veggies has never been faster. I highly recommend this cooktop. Five stars!
