More Than Just a Clothes Freshener: A Daily Essent

Living with the LG Styler: A 10-Year Perspective
I still remember when the Styler first came out around 2016. Back then, we mainly used it for heavy winter coats and puffer jackets just to cut down on dry cleaning bills. Fast forward a decade, and now that I've been living in the US for a while, I wanted to share how the newest model actually fits into our daily routine here.
Look and Feel
There are plenty of professional photos online, so I’ll just share my real-world take. I really like that they added lighter color options instead of sticking only to the traditional dark finishes. It blends into the room a lot better, and the exterior has a really premium, high-end texture. Also, having worked in IT for about 20 years, I can be pretty picky about user interfaces. The new touch panel is a massive step up—it's wider, super intuitive, and gives you all the info you need at a glance without being overly complicated.
The Hangers (A Huge Plus)
Honestly, the biggest day-to-day improvement is the hangers. The older models came with relatively thin hangers, which sometimes let heavier clothes slip off during the shake cycle. LG clearly listened to feedback here. The new hangers are thick, substantial, and grip the clothes perfectly. It sounds like a minor detail, but it completely changes the usability for the better.
Everyday Use & Odor Control
We actually decided to put this unit right in our high schooler’s room. If you have a teenager, you know that keeping their closet from smelling like a mix of stale sweat and outdoor grime is a constant battle. Running their clothes through the Styler completely gets rid of those odors overnight, leaving just a clean, fresh scent.
De-Wrinkling & Room Dehumidifying
The de-wrinkling cycle has been an absolute lifesaver. Our kid is involved in student performances and needs to wear delicate formal concert attire on a regular basis. Not having to constantly iron, steam, or run to the dry cleaner for performance outfits saves us a ton of time and stress. I also run my own dress pants through it now and then to keep them crisp. It’s a fantastic feature for any dad who regularly wears suits to work, and it even works wonders on smoothing out stubborn wrinkles in linen pants.
We actually debated putting the Styler in the laundry room at first. But between needing a quick spot to drop in daily-worn clothes and the built-in room dehumidifier, putting it directly in the bedroom was hands down the right call. Teenagers aren't exactly known for keeping their doors or windows open, and this feature keeps the air crisp, dry, and fresh without needing a separate loud appliance.
Bottom Line
If you're tired of running to the dry cleaner for delicate items, or if you struggle with keeping worn clothes fresh, the Styler is a really solid investment. Beyond clothing care, having that built-in room dehumidification genuinely improves the feel of the room. Highly recommended if you want to make your daily home routine a little easier.

Love it!

I’ve had the Styler for about ten days now, and I’ve already been using it more than I expected.
One of the first things I tried was a knit dress I had worn to a restaurant. It came home with a pretty strong food smell, so I put it in the Styler along with a pair of my husband’s pants and ran the Refresh cycle. I was really happy with the results. The smell was gone, and the knit dress felt so fresh and soft afterward. It almost felt like I hadn’t worn it at all.
I also had some shirts sitting in my closet because I just didn’t feel like ironing them. I tried the Single Shirt mode, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much smoother they looked. It didn’t get every wrinkle out, but it definitely made a difference. The shirts also felt softer afterward. I think I can just use the steamer for the few wrinkles that are left instead of pulling out the iron, which is a lot easier.
Another thing I was really happy to discover was the Fur/Leather Refresh feature. I actually didn’t know the Styler had this until I got it and started looking through the different settings. I have some fur and leather clothes that I hate taking to the dry cleaner just to freshen them up, so finding out I can refresh them at home was such a nice surprise.
I think what I like most about the Styler is that it’s perfect for those clothes that aren’t really dirty enough to wash or dry-clean, but don’t feel fresh enough to wear again. After only ten days, I’m already finding more things around the house that I want to put in it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the LG Styler Smart Steam Closet for a few months now, and it’s become something I use way more often than I expected. What started as a “nice-to-have” has turned into a regular part of my routine.
The Dual TrueSteam does a great job refreshing clothes that aren’t dirty enough to wash but don’t feel fresh anymore. Jackets, sweaters, dresses —less wrinkled, odor-free, and just feeling clean without using any chemicals.
I also deal with seasonal allergies, so being able to refresh things like coats and scarves instead of letting them sit around has been a big plus. It’s way more effective than just hanging clothes up to air out. The MovingHanger actually works and helps steam reach thicker fabrics evenly.
The Built-In HandySteamer is super convenient for quick touch-ups before heading out, and yes—it really does remove strong food smells (KBBQ included 😄).
Overall, it’s easy to use, quiet, and looks great in the space. I’ve cut down on dry cleaning and my clothes stay looking newer longer. Definitely feels like a luxury item, but one that actually makes everyday life easier. I’d happily recommend it

A Total Game-Changer for Parents, Allergy Sufferer

I waited so long to get this and honestly, it has been a game-changer for my home. From the moment it arrived I was thrilled — and it’s lived up to every bit of that excitement!
First off, as a parent with a baby, this has been invaluable. It’s amazing to be able to sanitize crib sheets, clothes, and even beloved baby dolls that aren’t easy to wash every day. Knowing those items are being refreshed and sanitized with steam — no harsh chemicals — gives me so much peace of mind.
I also have pretty bad allergies, so the fact that this steam closet helps reduce allergens and refresh hard-to-wash items is honestly a must. I toss in clothes that otherwise sit in the hamper forever and it feels like they come out dramatically fresher and cleaner than just airing them out.
And okay… this is funny but totally true — it actually gets rid of that lingering KBBQ smell! 😂 No more “take-out scent” clinging to my clothes after a long weekend of Korean BBQ runs — this thing neutralizes it fast.
Overall, it’s incredibly versatile — from refreshing clothes in about 22 minutes to gently steaming and sanitizing delicate fabrics. It feels like a luxury, but one that actually improves daily life, especially with a little one and seasonal allergens around. Highly recommend!

No More Ironing — Clothes Look Fresh Every Time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the LG Styler for about two weeks now, and I honestly haven’t used my ironing board once since getting it. I hang my shirts, jackets, and pants in it, and they come out refreshed, odor-free, and noticeably smoother in about half an hour.
It’s perfect for clothes that don’t need a full wash but just need to look presentable again — especially after work, travel, or a night out. It’s gentle on fabrics and has already saved me time and trips to the dry cleaner.
It’s also big enough to handle jackets for my entire family of four, which was a pleasant surprise.
On top of that, the mirror door looks amazing and adds a really nice premium touch to the space.

My Winter Essential, Now Even Better

I bought my first LG Styler seven years ago and have been using it ever since, but this time I upgraded to the new steam model. As always, the Styler truly shines in winter. Those slightly musty winter parkas instantly feel freshly dry-cleaned after a cycle — the odors disappear, and the padding becomes soft and fluffy again, almost like a brand-new coat. What makes this new model even better is the steam feature. I can lightly press my inner layers before wearing them, which is incredibly convenient. And while the previous model looked nice, this steam version feels much more premium with its matte finish and clean mirrored front. It really gives off the vibe of a luxury appliance.

Great for refreshment

From the moment I unboxed the LG Styler, the first thing that stood out was its high-end design. It looks beautiful and immediately gives off a premium feel. I tested it with wrinkled jackets, suits, and dress shirts, and after running the Power Fresh cycle, the wrinkles were significantly reduced and everything came out smelling incredibly fresh.
For shirts that still had light wrinkles, I used the built-in handheld steamer, and it worked surprisingly well—much better than I expected. Having a steamer integrated into the unit is such a convenient feature, especially for anyone who needs quick touch-ups before heading out. If you’re someone who wears suits daily for work, I would highly recommend the Styler.
I also tried it on scarves and hats that had picked up unpleasant odors after a few uses, and the Styler refreshed them beautifully. Even delicate fabrics like wool and silk are easy to care for since the Styler has specific cycles designed for them.
We also use the LG Styler in our nail salon to freshen up customers’ jackets while they get their services done, and they absolutely love it. They always comment on how refreshing their jackets smell afterward. Overall, it’s a fantastic appliance for keeping clothes looking and feeling their best.
