Intelligent Performance with Elegant Design

Equipped with AI technology, the washer automatically adjusts the washing intensity and settings according to the fabric type. This allows users to do laundry without worrying about selecting the right cycle. In particular, when washing high-end garments, it causes significantly less fabric damage compared to other products.
Our laundry room is connected to the living room on the second floor, so we go in and out of it quite often. Compared to our previous washer, this model has a more luxurious design and a color scheme that we really like. The front-load door makes it easy to check and add laundry, and the overall look is stylish enough to blend nicely even if it’s placed in the living room.
We often run the laundry in the evening and used to worry about disturbing our neighbors. However, this washer is much quieter than our previous G model, allowing us to do laundry at night without any noise concerns.
The installation process was smooth and professional. The delivery team handled everything carefully, and the setup was completed quickly without any issues. The instructions were clear, and the washer was ready to use right away.

Powerful, Quiet and Smart

The LG WM5800HVA washer has been an excellent addition to my home. Its large capacity easily handles big loads like comforters and towels, which saves time and effort. The variety of wash cycles works perfectly for different fabrics, and the machine automatically adjusts settings to give the best results every time.
It’s also impressively quiet — even during high-speed spins, I can barely hear it running. The TurboWash 360° and Built-In Intelligence features make washing both faster and smarter, ensuring great cleaning performance with less energy use.
Overall, this washer is powerful, efficient, and easy to use. It combines smart technology with a sleek design, and I’m very happy with how well it performs.

Great for a caregiver

We have alot of medical items like blankets and bandages. Sanitation setting is also good because of my wife's wounds and medical needs. Due to the amount of every day needs, having the matching dryer is both effective and efficient. Both the washer and dryer have been a big help to me as a caregiver.

I like the many options of cycles and settings, that you can also adjust the water temperature , I also like how fast my laundry it's done, is noiseless and efficient

I recently replaced my old washer and dryer because they took too long to wash and dry loads, and I couldn’t be happier with this new set.
The washer has a sleek, modern design and runs extremely quietly while delivering outstanding cleaning performance. I’m especially impressed with the TurboWash 360° feature, which can wash medium-soiled laundry in about 30 minutes. Its large 5.0 cu ft capacity easily handles bulky items, and the built-in AI sensors automatically detect fabric texture and load size to suggest the best settings for each cycle. I also use the ThinQ app which makes it easy to monitor progress or receive notifications, adding convenience to every wash.

Amazing Performance!!

It can hold a large capacity and has different cycle options. Using the thinQ app helps as well. It hardly makes any noise. It's smart technology and performance is amazing. It literally knows the weight of laundry and can determine the length of a quick wash. We are very impressed as and highly recommend.

Great looking design and features

All opinions expressed in this post are personal and should not be attributed to LG. I have now used the washer for about a week and found it to be great washer. There are pros and cons about it.
Great looking design. Having the dial is a great plus as I don’t like just having the LCD. Starting the washer takes little longer than expected. When you press the power button and the start button, it doesn’t start instant. There is slight lag, but you get used it and prevents accidental start. I like there is quick cycle (14 min). Very helpful when in a hurry. AI wash cycle wasn't as expected. the clothes was little more damp than the normal wash. I couldn't find the tub light. It took a while to find it under settings. Hopefully they can fix that with the app. I did connect the washer to the ThinQ app which was super easy. I can't wait to tryout the ThinQ UP feature and get new features. Overall washing machine is great. The performance is good and the design is very attactive. The noise level is super quiet. You can’t feel the vibration during the wash or spinning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1. Design: The sleek and clean design is so beautiful that it feels like a shame to keep it in a cramped laundry room. The LCD display is also very intuitive, making it easy to check the wash status at a glance.
2. Performance: The generous 5.0 cu. ft. capacity allows me to wash everything from bedding to large loads of laundry at once. My favorite feature is the TurboWash® 360° technology. It cleans clothes thoroughly without damaging the fabric and significantly shortens the wash time. My son, who loves sports, always brings home sweaty clothes, but now I can wash them without worrying about the smell.
Another impressive feature is its smart AI laundry function. It automatically detects the weight and material of the laundry and sets the optimal wash cycle, so you don't have to worry about complicated settings. You just load your laundry and press the start button.

Terrific front-load washer

Great Purchase
First I’d like to say that this product is stunning. Looks amazing in my home. It fits the perfect loads for my big family. It’s so silk and quiet. I’m really happy with my washer. The different settings allow me do be so detailed with washing my clothes. It so easy to use and I’m just so pleased with my washer. A 10 out or 10 for sure. If you’re looking for a new washer and dryer set this is definitely the machine for you.

Great features, capacity and easy to use!

The 5.0 cu. ft. capacity is huge so I can wash big loads without cramming everything in. The TurboWash 360° feature is also great because it cleans super fast but still gets everything fresh. I also like that it has AI sensing, so it automatically adjusts the settings for the type of clothes I throw in. The Allergiene and Pet Care cycles are nice extras, which are perfect for bedding and pet stuff. Plus the controls are easy to use and the design looks sleek in my laundry room. Overall, it’s powerful, smart, and makes laundry feel way less of a chore.

Excellent Washing Machine

I found The LG WM5800HVA has a sleek and modern design, and an easy user interface.
The control on the WM5800HVA is done via the dial at the machine’s front and rotating it allows to scroll through its wash cycles and see a clear description of each in the display screen.
The WM5800HVA can connect to the LG ThinQ app and can download additional cycles for cleaning bed sheets and other items. The app also allows to control the machine remotely and receive notifications when a wash has ended.
The WM5800HVA is big enough for my family’s washing load and can fit some larger items, such as a blanket, sheets and multiple pairs of jeans .
I found the WM5800HVA performed excellent with our clothed cleaned well and excellent stain removal compared to my old washing machine which was a top load model with no agitator. This model is a front load so the clothes tumble for better detergent distribution and agitation. The cycle time was half that of my old machine. I also liked the dispenser on the front of the machine for easy loading of detergent and softener.
Overall I am very satisfied with this machine and look forward to many years of use for my family. I highly recommend it.

This front load washer WM5800HVA is awesome. Beautiful, has well designed dial, I recommend using the AI setting; it will select optimal settings for you depending on the weight of the load and its type. Unit is very quiet and since I got a combo with the dryer placed on top of it it is a perfect match. It replaced the few years old front load washer from other brand that was inferior in my opinion to this one. This model fits a lot of clothes to be washed. Remember to add some simple baking soda to soften the water for best laundry results. My other half is amazed by it too, as she can turn it on with her phone and options of cycle selections fit her well too.

Great Features!

It has large capacity which can fit a big blanket or other bulky items. Another feature is that the noise is minimal when it runs. I keep it in the basement and hardly noticed it running. This model also has some new features such as AI wash, Allergiene, and Pet Care Cycle which are great options for someone who has pets like me. The touch screen is easy to navigate and options are pretty clear to choose from. I tried AI wash which adjusts wash and rinse pattern automatically that made it really simple. I think I am going to use this option a lot. The ThinQ app is another jam which makes it easy to track the cycle, maintenance and notify any alerts for both laundry and dryer. Overall great performance and looking forward to enjoy it.

Everything you need

Ok that out of the way, I have other LG appliances so naturally went LG again for the washer and dryer, plus the pedestal washer (awesome!).
The washer is for my elderly father so simplicity was key which is not always the case with new digital appliances. The washer has an easy to read dial which lights up which cycle to use (we chose the AI one). It's a large capacity and replaced his older topload LG direct drive which served well for over 10 years.
This is much more modern looking. easier to use, and with the pedestal washer is great for smaller loads. High spin cycles are super well balanced and it's very quiet too.
Only thing I wish it had was the detergent reservoir where you can pour in enough for multiple loads.

I recently got this LG washer and dryer matching set, and I’m seriously impressed. The capacity is huge — I can easily wash a king-size thick blanket with room to spare. We have two toddlers at home so we need to change bed sheet often, this is so helpful since now we can wash all the beddings at once!!
The machines are also super quiet, even during high spin cycles. I was honestly surprised the first time I ran it — I had to check if it was even on. It also has all these new smart features, like wrinkle-free drying etc. Excited to explore the rest of the features.
Overall, I’m really happy with this set — powerful, efficient, and beautiful. Definitely worth it if you want something that makes laundry a little more fun.
